Alphonse Puthren to get engaged to Aleena Mary Antony

Alphonse Puthren, the director of Premam which had become the second biggest blockbuster of Mollywood right behind Drishyam is all set to get engaged in this coming August Month. The name of his bride is Aleena Mary Antony and she is the daughter of film producer Alwin Antony. Alwin Antony is the one who financed film like Om Shanti Oshana last year which was a box office success starred Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim. The engagement will be on August 17th at Cochin and it will be a double delight in Alphonse Puthren’s life as he is still enjoying the great success of his film Premam.

Alphonse Puthren is the son of Paul and Daisy Chacko and he is a native of Aluva. Aleena is now at Chennai doing her higher studies. Alwin Antony said to the media that this is an arranged marriage and the marriage will be on 22nd of August. He also said that many popular people from film industry will be there at the engagement function at Cochin.

Alphonse Puthren had made his debut as a director through the film named Neram and it was a super hit of that year. Nivin Pauly and Nazriya played the lead characters in that film. Now he had become one of the most precious director in Mollywood with the fabulous success of Premam.

Earlier when Alphonse Puthren’s marriage news came out some rumors came along the news that he is going to marry one of the heroine of the film Premam. Anupama Parameshawaran who played the character of Mary in that flick was the heroine of that rumor and there were many posts came through some online medias which said that Alphonse Puthren is going to marry Anupama Parameshwaran.

May be this happened due to misunderstanding as well because when they heard that the name of the bride of his is Aleena Mary, they took it as the girl who played the character of ‘Mary’ in the film. The name may be the cause of misunderstanding. We are wishing him a happy married life in advance and hopes that he will have a great innings as a married man as well.

Mohanlal to play the lead in multilingual big budget film

The biggest star of Mollywood is all set to play the lead role in a multilingual Big budget film. Yes, it is our Mohanlal is going to do the lead character of a film which is made by using 28 crores of rupees and it will be directed by Priyadarshan. The film is financed by production houses in Asarbaijan and India and it will speak 5 languages as well. This will be the highest budget film ever made in Malayalam and this will have a worldwide release including countries like China. There will only 4 actors from Malayalam cinema who is acting in this film and 21 other artists in this film will be from Asarbaijan. The film will be shot completely in Russia and they are planned to begin the shoot on this coming October 1.

Rouf Ji Mehdiev from Asarbaijan and Jaison Pulikott of Full house productions will finance this film jointly. The film will speak Malayalam, Chinese, Turkish, Asari and Russian languages. It will be shot in Malayalam and Asari language and then will be dubbed on to other three languages such as Russian, Chinese and Turkish. The Malayalam version of the film is not yet titled and in other languages the name will be something which means ‘Last verdict’ or ‘Ultimate verdict’ says director Priyadarshan. It will not be a comedy film which we can see in usual Priyan films in Mollywood but it will be an action packed thriller with lots of fights and emotional scenes as well. Aparanna Gopinath has been chosen to play the female lead of the film as well.

Apart from Mohanlal and Aparnna Gopinath actors like Prathap Pothen and Sasi Kumar will be the only actors from Malayalam who is a part of this film. This will be telling the story of a daughter who is going to Russia in search of her mother and that daughter character will be played by Aparnna. Mohanlal will be playing the father who is following his daughter.

Technicians from India and Russia will be behind the camera for this film. Ilayaraja will give the music for this film and Sabu Cyril is the art director. The shoot will start in this October at Baku, The Capital of Asarbaijan. Priyan is currently busy with the works of his tamil film with Prakash Raj and Sreya Reddy and after that he will go to Russia for the works of this big film.

Along with Nivin Pauly who was the hero of the flick and Alphonse Puthren who conceived the flick, Sai Pallavi had become a trend in social Media and it went to a level in which her crazy fans started to ask that not to act in any other movies as they want to see her as Malar only.

Sai Pallavi said that she was quite overwhelmed by the love and respect she got from Mollywood and she said that she was quite unsure about her next character as well. It had to be as good as Malar or have to be better than that to satisfy the audience now who are crazily connected with the character Malar. She also said that she is a bit of scared to do the next film as she don’t really know what really people think of that role. She don’t know what will be in the mind of people as the identity of the character Malar has become a sort of her identity in front of them.

Sai Pallavi also spoke about the piracy issue in which Premam had fell in. She told that before she had acted in films she don’t much care about if she hears a news that a pirated print of a movie had come out or thinks that what is the big deal in it. But now she understood the magnitude of it as she had witnessed how much effort people puts in to the making of a film. Alphonse, Nivin Pauly and many others put their life and soul in to the making of the film Premam. She felt really bad after knowing about the leak of censor copy of the film.

Sai Pallavi told that she has planned nothing much about the future. She is an MBBS student and she had almost completed it. She will love to continue her dance and also acting if good characters like Malar comes her way.

Mammootty-AK Sajan team to bring a stunning flick

It was really a surprise news for Mammootty fans and Mollywood film lovers that Mammootty is doing his next film with director AK Sajan. It was a surprise because this one was not in his list of projects this year and after Kamal film Utopiayile Rajavu Mammootty was all set for doing either Udaya Ananthan directorial flick White or Nithin Renji Panicker’s debut film in which Mammootty plays a cop character with some eccentric mannerisms. But suddenly an AK Sajan project came out from nowhere and Mammootty instantly given him dates and want to do it as soon as possible.

AK Sajan is the co-writer of SN Swamy in the film Dhruvam directed by Joshiey in which we saw one of the most powerful character of Mammootty’s career named Narasimha Mannadiyar. A K Sajan was the one who wrote films like Crime File and Chinthamani Kola Case and in both those films Suresh Gopi was the hero and were super hit as well. We can also claim that his directorial effort named Stop Violence with Prithviraj in the lead was the first new generation film in Mollywood with its unique making style and narration of the story.

When AK Sajan came to the shooting set of Kamal’s Utopiayile Rajavu to narrate the story of this upcoming flick to Mammootty no one even thought for a minute that it will make mammootty stunned. And it really happened and Mammootty was so impressed with the story and right away given his node to start the film after his family vacation. May be he had in mind the lost opportunity to act in Drishyam due to date problem and later the film had become the biggest hit in Mollywood with universal star Mohanlal in the lead.

The film will start right away after Mammootty’s family holidays overseas and Nayanthara is roped in to play the female lead in the film and the character name of Mammootty in this film is Advocate Louise Pothen. The film is slate to be released in either November or December this year as per the completion of the filming date.

We have seen bollywood’s two biggest super stars Shahrukh Khan and Salman khan on screen together the last time in the year 2007. It was in the Farah Khan directorial film ‘Om Shanti Om’ starring Shahrukh Khan as the male lead and in that film Salman Khan had come in a short cameo in a song sequence. Before that we saw them both together in 2002 film ‘HumTumhare Hai Sanam’ in which both Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan shared screen space with Madhuri Dixit.

Salman Khan also acted in Shahrukh Khan-Kajal team’s super success named ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ in a guest role as well. Their first association was in the year 1995 when they acted in a film named Karan Arjun directed by Rakesh Roshan which was a big success. After seen them together in Om Shanti Om we do not had the luck to see them together sharing screen space in a film due to the fall out between the two of them which had become the talk of the town for some time.

Later they patched up the issues between them still things were not smooth between them to make them act together in a film. But now news coming in from Bollywood that director Aditya Chopra had roped in Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan for a project which is a double hero subject. Adithya Chopra calculating that by bringing together the most followed super stars of Bollywood a new box office history can be set.

Earlier there were reports that actor Ranvir Singh had roped in the film to act along with Shahrukh Khan. But now all eyes and ears are on the prospect of bringing back Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan together on screen. The flick which will be helmed by Adithya Chopra is planning to start by the end of 2016 and it will release as the Christmas release of 2017.

Meanwhile Shahrukh Khan had 3 more projects coming up named Dilwale, Fan and Raees. Salman Khan is also busy with many projects and it will be interesting to see the reaction of these stars on this news which is spreading.

Fahad says that for the first time in his career he asked to a director to make him the hero of his next film as well and that is Rajeev Ravi who directed him in Annayum Rasoolum. The flick named Viswasam Athalle Ellam directed by Jayaraj Vijayan starring Shine Tom Chacko in the lead role is all set to release all over Kerala in this coming Friday. And this one will be Shine Tom Chacko’s first release after his surprise hit Ithihasa and also the first one after the darkest period of his personal life during which he got arrested in the case of drug possession and had to spent almost 2 months in jail.

The trailer of the flick had got good attention and reception from the part of the audience and many people noticed that the dialogues of the lead character in the film played by Shine had some resemblance with the real life story of shine specially the recent events that happened in his life. But Shine in an interview to Onlookers Media said that there is nothing like that and the story of the film had nothing to do with his personal life.

The film had planned long before the incidents happened in his life and the dialogues were written before he went to jail. No one can change the story or dialogues of a film at will. It is just a coincidence that some dialogues everyone saw in the trailer had something to do with what has happened in his life. That is not at all intentional but just coincidence says Shine.

Shine also said that he had great hopes on this film as he really loved the character and also enjoyed really well during its making. Shine told that he hopes that he had did full justice to the role offered to him by the team behind the film. Shine ensures that the film will not have anything which disturbs family audience and it is for families that this flick has been made. It has very good humour elements and it will make you all of you feel good with its fresh screenplay and honest narration.

Shine said that Viswasam Athalle Ellam is an important film for him as well because it is a sort of his comeback film after all those dark incidents that marred his life for sometime.

Lalisom is a word which was associated with the universal star Mohanlal and it is used to define the ultimate way of natural acting this actor can give us. Common people and many great film personalities said that each and every Malayali have a Lalisom in their attitude and it is running through their blood like a most integrated part of their life. That was the impact this actor had made upon the Mollywood film lovers and there is no one who gave such soulful portrayal of Malayali life on silver screen other than Mohanlal and that was Lalisom. So when Mohanlal had decided to start a music band in association with composer Ratheesh Vega they chose the name of the band as Lalisom. It was accepted very quickly and enthusiastically by the people here.

But everything turned upside down when the team had to make an under prepared show on a big stage of national games inauguration ceremony and it had failed miserably. The band was closed later and a dream of Mohanlal went in forgetfulness as the band had faced severe criticism and the word Lalisom which was used as an adjective to tell Mohanlal’s impact in Kerala turned to a word to troll him in social media. Along with him the man who faced severe criticism was the composer Ratheesh Vega who was the chief program co-ordinator of the music show.

Now in a recent interview with South Live, Ratheesh Vega said that he will materialize the Lalisom show even without Mohanlal in the team. Ratheesh Vega said that it was his duty to do justice to that great actor and personality called Mohanlal. Lalisom was his own idea and it was a result of the emotions that created by Mohanlal in heart and the new band of him named ‘Gangs of Vadakkum Nadhan’ can be called a first step towards that. He said he is not sure about the participation of Mohanlal in that as it will be the actor’s decision.

Ratheesh vega said that he will make people to praise the concept of Lalisom by presenting it in the way he and Mohanlal had dreamed to present it but unfortunately not able to do it at that time due to many reasons. Ratheesh Vega also said that Mohanlal had stood by his side during the tough times by frequently calling him and telling him not to worry about what had happened there at national games.

Jeethu Joseph-Dileep film Life Of Josootty postponed to September

Jeethu Joseph’s first outing in Mollywood after the gigantic hit with Mohanlal named Drishyam is a much awaited film in Mollywood and it has titled as Life of Josootty. The flick had popular actor Dileep as the male lead and Kashmiri model Aqsa Bhatt and Rachana Nrayanankutty playing the female lead. This was Jeethu’s second film with Dileep in the lead after a successful outing with him few years back named My Boss.

As per the earlier reports Life Of Josootty is all set to screen all over the world on this coming August as an Onam release in Mollywood. But now the report had updated in its official Facebook page that the film had postponed to September this year and they are saying that they need more time to complete the post-production works of the movie. Life Of Josootty is said to be a fun filled entertainer with some fantasy elements in it.

The Onam releases as per reports are Loham, Uttopyayile Rajavu, Kunji Ramayanam, Jamna Pyari, Double Barrel etc and after the postponement of Life of Josootty we have to wait to now that any other film may get a slot in the Onam Race of this year in Mollywood Box office. Earlier Nivin Pauly starrer Action Hero Biju also postponed to September which was earlier touted as an Onam release. Now it is been clear that we may in for a battle between Dileep and Nivin Pauly in September and that will be an interesting one as some called Nivin Pauly the new popular actor after Dileep suffered some failures at box office with Nivin has done continuously good there.

In the coming September we may also witness the release of the much awaited tamil flick Puli starring Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay and it will be very interesting to see the fight between Vijay and the Mollywood stars at Box office. It has become interesting because when Suriya’s mass and Nivin Pauly’s Premam came on the same time Premam had literally killed Mass here and it is a very rare sight to see when a much hyped big budget Tamil is out shined by a Malayalam film at Mollywood box office especially in the recent years.
