Baahubali crossed 400 crore mark in box office

It has been almost 3 weeks since the biggest film in India named Baahubali helmed by SS Rajamouli had released all over the world. From the very first show of the flick it had released stunning reviews from the audience and many people expressed that they had never seen such a wonderful spectacle on screen which is made in Indian cinema. The critics also showered praises on the film starring Prabhas and many other eminent artists in the south Indian film industry.

Many is of the opinion that this cinematic experience given by Baahubali can be matched even to the best of the best Hollywood films as well specially in its technical perfection and in its fantabulous making style. The director SS Rajamouli, script writer K V Vijayendra Prasad who is Rajamouli’s father as well along with all the members of its technical side deserves a hats off from us to respect the work they had put in to make this magnum opus flick in Indian soil. The enthusiasm of the viewers about this film can be seen in its box office collections as well even in its fourth week of theater run.

As per the current box office report Baahubali had crossed rupees 400 crores in its worldwide gross collections and if it have to be said precisely the film had raked in rupees 425 crores altogether from its different language version. The Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil versions of the film is still doing great business at the respective centers where it is showing now. Even after many regional and national release the film is showing steady progress while moving towards its fourth week. It had made the above mentioned 18 crores days and now going to reap more from the box office as it is showing steady returns from the theaters.

Salman Khan starred film Bajrangi Bhaijaan also going head to head with Baahubali by collecting 428 crores from just 10 days but that is with many a number of screens higher than Baahubali got. The promotional strategies from the team behind Baahubali and never tiring online promotion is a strong reason for its cruising at Box office. The only film which can slow down Baahubali’s Telugu version is Mahesh Babu starrer Srimanthudu which will hit the screens on August 7 as per reports and by then it can widen its box office reach towards the 500 crore club as well.

The celebrities also paying their tribute to the great man through their condolence messages through Facebook and Twitter and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma also wrote a condolence message and tweeted it through her twitter account. But she wrote the name of the missile man as ‘ABJ Kalam Azad’ in her tweet which shows her ignorance about even the name of our former president and one of the most popular Indian around the globe.

When criticism were showed in she deleted that tweet and then tweeted again with the name ‘APJ Kalam Azad’ this time. Again landed in mistake by trying to correct a mistake and severe criticisms followed as she done the same mistake twice. At last she deleted that as well and posted the name correctly but already made herself available for the trolling and criticisms of the public for days to come.

Director Kamal seems to be drawing a lots of criticism as his comment about Premam film was not accepted well by social media as well as people from film fraternity. Now director Fazil had come out against Kamal’s comments about Premam today. Fazil says that he also watched movie and his eyes not went for finding out the mistakes in the movie and he had found many visually beautiful and wonderful cinematic moment in the film. Fazil says that we have to appreciate Alphonse Puthren for his direction and screenplay and he had done a terrific job as a film maker.

Fazil says that Kamal is discouraging the younger generation of film makers through his comments and Fazil specially not at all agreed with Kamal’s two comments which says that the scenes in Premam in which young people using alcohol in class and also the hero loving his teacher may mislead the young generation. Fazil says how it misleads the minds of youngsters or children and Kamal has to say how these young film makers to make a film as well if he believes that their way of film making is not right. Fazil also says that audience are not fools as Kamal’s comments indicates that also. Because a film accepted by audience is not a bad one as Kamal puts in.

Fazil also said that his film like Ente Soorya Puthrikku is based on a true incident that happened in college that time and he says the film Drishyam also shows the hero manipulating the evidence to mislead the police. Some people had come out criticizing that films too. People like T P Sen Kumar criticized Drishyam but he have the right to do it as he is a police officer. People can criticize a film if they are eligible for criticizing that particular subject of a film says Fazil.

Fazil also disagrees with Kamal’s comment about the piracy issue of Premam. Fazil says that anti-piracy cell had gone through many difficulties before catching the culprit and Kamal’s comment is just like insulting government and law enforcement organizations who took their step to investigate the issue.

According to the latest collection report Bajrangi Bhaijaan has crossed rupees 400 crores from its worldwide gross collection an beat the collection of Baahubali as well. The flick had released on Eid day had now earned this 400 crore collection from just 10 days from the worldwide market. The collection steady from the first day and in weekends it touches the higher levels as well.

The flick had got close to 250 crore from India alone and that is from 10 days is really awesome to say the least. It is coming in that the film had got 238 crores from India alone precisely. The overseas collection is great as well as the film had raked in a total collection of 425 crores from worldwide market including the domestic gross. The flick had reportedly grossed 184 crore from its first week that too from India alone and it had got 54 crores more in the last Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is all set break the collection record of Sharukh Khan’s Chennai Express which got a life time gross of 428 crores from worldwide. Bajrangi Bhaijaan had already got 425 crores from 10 days and it needs only a day to break the collection record of Chennai Express. Then it’s next target will be Dhoom 3 starred by Aamir Khan which has a life time gross of 540 crore from worldwide. By the pace with which Bajrangi Bhaijaan going on in box office it will be a matter of a week or 10 more days that it will break the collection record of Dhoom 3.

It had already past the collection record of Baahubali which has got 385 crores from worldwide from 17 days and Bajrangi Bhaijaan needed only 10 days to break that as well. The film which told the story in a class way more than including mass elements really getting applause from critics and common audience alike and it is happy times for salman Khan and his fans.

Kunchacko Boban starrer Jamna Pyari by Thomas Sebastian and Vineeth Sreenivasan starrer Kunji Ramayanam helmed by debutant Basil Joseph also coming to take part in the Onam race and may become the dark horse as well in this race.

In telugu version the flick has been trimmed off 40 minutes and also include the part of the actor Brahmanandam to attract the telugu audience. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Passes Away

Former president of our Nation, Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam passed away half an hour ago. He was presenting a paper at IIM shilling today and he collapsed down during the presentation of that paper there. He was 83 years old as well.

Abdul Kalam was delivering a lecture to the students of the B-school of the Indian institute of management at Shillong today evening and during the presentation of a paper he felt uneasy and collapsed down there at that moment. Without delay the Former president was taken to the famous Bethany Hospital there and the director of the hospital Mr. John Sailo Ryntathiang said that the former President was almost dead when he was taken to the hospital.

He was in very critical condition and the doctors did their best to revive the great man and save him from death but failed as it was too late to do anything about it, he said to the media. Doctors told to the media that the great man had died of Cardiac arrest.

It has been a big news that when a news came out from a source close to Mohanlal that in 2016 after the release of Baahubali-The Conclusion there is a chance of a Mohanlal-SS Rajamouli film on cards. SS Rajamouli has said himself to the media when he came to Kerala for the audio launch and promotion of his film Baahubali- The Beginning that he is an ardent Mohanlal fan from his childhood and Mohanlal is the actor who had made him amazed and wonder more than anyone he saw on screen.

He also told that Mohanlal’s subtlety in performance was really stunned him as a director and he really want to do a film with him as well. That is a sort of a dream for him to do a film with Mohanlal but he is not sure whether it will be in Malayalam or not as he had his own problem of understanding language when it comes to Malayalam. So the news of a Mohanlal-SS Rajamouli project came it was treated as the biggest news and everyone was very excited to see the union of the best actor India has ever produced and the best film maker now India has for a film.

But there is an interesting story related with Mohanlal and SS Rajamouli that had happened years back. Rajamouli had planned a movie with Mohanlal in the lead years back and almost 14 years back to be precise. But at that time due to some unknown reasons the movie they planned was not materialized. It was before the filming of Priyadarshan film Kilichundan Mambazham. Rajamouli had planned a historical movie with Mohanlal and he had made some sketches and plans for it with the help of art director Sabu Cyril and also with the help of Manu Jagat. But when the flick was dropped Sabu Cyril has used that sketches for a song sequence in Kilichundan Mambazham in which Mohanlal comes as a warrior with Late actress Soundarya acted as a princess.

We really lost a great chance to see a fabulous film from this team but now the hopes are regenerating as they are planning to come together next year and everyone is hoping for it to materialize this time.
