Chila Nerangalil Chilar, director Aji John turns actor
Chila Nerangalil Chilar is the upcoming Malayalam flick which will be directed by the debutant named Sreenivasan Parameshwaran and the hero of the film will be a popular director of Mollywood named Aji john Who had changed his name to Ajith Aryan. Aji John is famous as the director of box office success like Hotel California starred Jayasurya and Anoop Menon. Aji John (Ajith Aryan) is the screenwriter of Chila Nerangalil Chilar as well. And the director Sreenivasan Parameshwaran had the experience of assisting master director Balu mahendra and he learned the craft under the perfect guidance of the veteran director.
This film will be produced by Milestone movie makers and the main location where the film is planned to shoot is Mumbai, Matheran and Maljesh ghatt. Sanjana Galrani who is the sister of actress Nikki Galrani will play the lead female character in this film along with Parankimala film fame actress Vinutha Lal. The other artists who is working in this film is P Balachandran, Sudheesh, Ashokan, Devi Ajith, J P, Prasanth Philip etc. Prajith Bhaskar will be the DOP of the film and Ajith Aryan himself will be the editor of the film as well.
Sreenivasan will write the lyrics for the film and other details we got about the crew is that production controller of the film will be Badusha, Costume design will be done by Aziz Palakkadan, art department will be handled by Sabu Mohan, makeup section will be headed by Rasheed and still will be taken by popular still photographer Mahadevan Thampi. Media designs for the film will be done by Razal Pareed.
The film will be a comedy thriller in its genre and it will cover the city of Mumbai as a whole and the city plays a very key role in the plot of the film. Mumbai is known to people outside Mumbai or down south by some names of the laces there like Dhaaravi, Red Street, Andheri etc. But there is a Mumbai which will not be known to much people here and through this film we will get to see that as well. The makers are planning to start the film rolling from May first week.

Mythri Malayalam version will hit the screens in Kerala as Vishu release
Mohanlal- Puneet Raj Kumar starrer Mythri, the Kannada movie that was released on 20th february 2015 had a great run at sandalwood box office with glorious box office collection and awesome critical appreciation. The reviews of the movie from critics and also from audience says that it was one of the best films ever made in Kannada language. The major highlight of the movie are the coming together of living legend of Indian cinema and universal star of mollywood Mohanlal and Puneet Rajkumar, the Kannada superstar. The much appreciated film is directed by Giri Raj who has given some other good films in sandalwood before.
The Malayalam version of the film will hit the screens of Kerala in this Vishu season and both the Kannada flick and the Malayalam flick were simultaneously shot as per reports. The report says that Director B M Giriraj has shot certain portions of the movie in a way that it also suits the Malayalam language and keeping in view of the mollywood spectators.In Mythri Kannada version Mohanlal has dubbed his portions in his own voice, but in Malayalam version Puneet Rajkumar’s voice will not be heard as he chose it to be that way. In the Malayalam version of the film Kalabhavan Mani plays the role which Ravi Kale played in the Kannada version and which is a very important role.
The movie is a great entertainer widely accepted by the kannada audience as well as all over the globe wherever it got released. It is not just a usual Kannada entertainer and the movie comes with a strong message to the society. Tight scripting, great characterization, terrific performances and soulful music has all be the reason for the positive reviews and great success of the film which is really an eye opener for Sandalwood.Music of the film was done by Ilayaraja and N S Rajkumar is the producer. Mohanlal and Dulquer to star in Pranav Mohanlal’s directorial debut
At last the big news mollywood waited for sometimes had come today. Mollywood film lovers had eagerly waiting for the grand entry of the son of their Hero Mohanlal. Mega star Mammootty’s son Dulquer Salmaan had made his entry into mollywood two years back and he had made his mark in our industry with some notable films and very soon he became highly popular. But the real wait is for someone else.
Yes, it was the arrival of Pranav Mohanlal, who is the son of Universal star Mohanlal who has a Demi-God status among malayalees. Pranav had already acted in 3 malayalam films and also won state award for his great performance as a child artist in a film named Punarjani which was helmed by famous director Major Ravi. Later he acted in films like Onnaman which was conceived by veteran director Thampi Kannamthanam in which he played the childhood part of his father Mohanlal’s character. Then he appeared in a cameo in Amal Neerad directorial film Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded and in this film he came in a song sequence and that too with his father Mohanlal.
People are asking frequently to Mohanlal about his son’s entry into mollywood and he always said that he will not force his son to do anything and if he had interest in films he will come and if he doesn’t have any interest in it he is free to choose what he want to be in life. One of the most anticipated and awaited movie of the year and it is none other than Master director Ranjith and living legend Mohanlal team’s film named Loham. The film had started rolling from March 7th at Kozhikkod and now it is progressing at Cochin. Mohanlal is playing the role of a taxi driver and his name in the film is reportedly Raju. The film is said to be dealing with the story of Gold smuggling.
The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the biggest and most successful banner in Mollywood cinema Aashirvad Cinemas. When it comes to the heroine of the film, it is Andrea Jermiah is playing the female lead in this film opposite Mohanlal and her character name is Jayanti. Much to her delight it will be for the first time in her career that she is sharing screen space with this legend of Indian Cinema. Early in her career Andrea had the fortune to work with legend like Kamal Haasan in Vishwaroopam and in Uthamavillain too.
The cast list of the film include some surprising faces like director V K prakash and reports says that he is also doing a very important role in the film. The other artists who are working in this film is Siddique, Mythili, Joju, Hareesh Peradi, Aju Varghese and Tini Tom etc. And to add to the attraction of the cast , the Young actor and kollywood fame Ajmal Ameer also doing a key role in this film.
