Dileep had no issues with Manju’s dialogues in Ennum Eppozhum
Mollywood has now a days waking up everyday hearing one or the other controversy or gossips. It has become a habit for mollywood audience also and they too waiting to hear these kind of news. Now the social media had become a tool for everyone to share and spread every news irrespective of its authenticity, logic or its news value. The latest in this list was involving actress Manju Warrier, her Ex-husband Dileep and her new film named Ennum Eppozhum which is running successfully in theaters now.
The controversy is that in the above mentioned film named Ennum Eppozhum Manju Warrier plays the role of an advocate and her name is Deepa. She is a divorced mother living with her daughter. At many places in the film the character played by Manju refers to her husband as cruel and that is the reason why she had divorced from him. But some people spread the rumour that Manju Warrier is indirectly referring to Dileep from who she got divorced in real life. Even though she is playing a character in reel life, that dialogues of her seems to be blown out of proportion by the above mentioned social media members.
In real life Manju Warrier got divorced from Dileep due to personal differences and their daughter is staying with Dileep and everyone knows about it. But the dialogues in the above mentioned film made the fans of Dileep angry and they just began to troll and insult Manju Warrier and began to spread it very quickly. When media people asked Dileep about this incident and his take on the alleged dialogues in the film, he said that he has no issues with the dialogues in the film and he don’t think it is intended to insult or attack him.
He said that it was not a person who is saying, it is a character who is uttering this dialogue according to the background of that character in that film. It has nothing to do with personal life of an actor or actress who is doing that role or uttering that dialogues.
Meanwhile the film is running with packed houses in mollywood and on the way to become one of the big hits of this year. The dialogues of this film is written by Ranjan Pramod and the story of the film is by Disco Raveendran.
Jomon T John on the way to his directorial debut
According to the reports coming in from the industry sources very soon the Mollywood movie lovers will see Jomon T John, one of the favorite cinematographers in Malayalam, wearing the cap of a director. News coming in says that Jomon will make his directorial debut with a film in which young star Dulquer Salmaan will play the male lead and sources says that Dulquer had committed to the project after the discussion with Jomon. The news we heard materialize into a real project , Jomon T John will be one among the cinematographers who become directors like, Amal Neerad, Vipin Mohan, Shyju Khalid , Sameer Thahir and Jibu Jacob who had made the latest entry to this list with his film Vellimoonga last year.
The cinematography career of Jomon T John had started with Cinematographer Sameer Thahir’s debut directorial movie ‘Chappa Kurishu’ and Jomon’s work was highly applauded by the critics as well as by the common audience. Then he worked with V K P in the highly celebrated movie ‘Beautiful’ and the visual in that film too got him much applause. The real turning point was come then in his life and the real break for Jomon T John was the release of the film named ‘Thattathin Marayathu’ helmed by Vineeth Sreenivasan.
The film was a blockbuster and his work for that film as a cinematographer is accepted by the audience with both hands and from then on he become a favourite of Malayalam film viewers and it was a real turning point for him in his small career. Later he did camera work for some notable films like ABCD, Ayalum Njanum Thammil and Thira etc. He had associated with Vineeth Sreenivasan from Thattathin Marayathu and then he done Thira with him and his latest is Oru Vadakkan Selfi for which Vineeth Sreenivasan had done the script.
As of now there is not much has been revealed about the upcoming movie which will be conceived by him. Currently he is working as a cinematographer of films like Ennu Ninte Moideen, Neena and interestingly in Neena directed by Lal Jose he is working with his wife Ann Augustine, which is her comeback film after her marriage with our hot topic Jomon.

Sanjana Galrani in Mollywood again
Sanjana Galrani is may not be a well -known figure to mollywood film viewers as she had done only two movies in Malayalam and that too not very prominent roles. But she is hugely popular in Telugu as well as in Kannada film industries as she had done many movies there even though she had made her debut as an actress in kollywood with a film titled Oru Kadhal Seiveer released in 2006. Before that she had done two uncredited cameo roles in a Telugu and in a Kannada film which are Soggadu and Panduranga Vittala respectively.
In mollywood her sister is a very popular heroine and her name is Nikki Galrani who is now considered as the lucky heroine of mollywood with all the films she had acted in here were super hits. They are 1983, Vellimoonga, Om Shanti Oshana etc. Sanjana Galrani’s original name was Archana Galrani but she is known by this name of Sanjana. She had acted in two mollywood films in small roles which are Universal star Mohanlal starrer Casanovva and Mega star Mammootty and Super star Suresh Gopi starrer film The king and Commissioner which was a sequel of two hit films of the 90’s.
Now she is coming again to mollywood with the new film titled Chila Nerangalil Chilar which will be directed by Sreenivasan Parameshwaran and the male lead will be played by Aryan Ajith. She had done a handful of Telugu and Kannada films and her role in the Kannada film released in 2006 titled Ganda Hendathi had created some controversy as well because of her bold and steamy role. The film was the official Kannada remake of the Bollywood film Murder and she had reprised the role played by Mallika Sherawat in Hindi.
She made her Telugu debut through the supporting role in the film named Bujjigadu directed Puri Jagannadh and starred along with Prabhas and Trisha. But her role in the film named Mylari opposite Siva Raj Kumar in Kannada gave her a break and the performance of her in that film gave a great boost to her career in Kannada. She have a lot of releases coming in Kannada and Telugu this year and hopefully she will get a break in Mollywood too with Chila Nerangalil Chilar.

MG Sreekumar and Mohanlal to join for a musical film
The sources from the industry already reported some months back that Mohanlal to do a musical film with his close friend, singer and music director MG Sreekumar. Earlier reports said that M G Sreekumar will produce the film and most probably Veteran director Sibi Malayil will direct the movie who had directed many musical based super hit films starring Mohanlal such as Bharatham, his highness Abdulla and Kamaladalam. Then another report came in that M G Sreekumar will direct that film along with production.
Anyway as a producer or as a director, M G Sreekumar is now planning a film with Mohanlal which gives importance to music. M G Sreekumar yesterday posted a status in in Facebook timeline asking the followers that how good it will be if He and Mohanlal will join hands together for a film like bharataham, or His highness Abdulla or may be for a film like Narasimham. People had showed great interest and Support to that question by M G Sreekumar and as far sa we know he already talked about his plans to Mohanlal and Mohanlal has agreed to the proposal. They are waiting for the right story and right time to start it.
Mohanlal is considered as the best ever when comes to the performance in musical based movies as he had tremendous musical sense and his lip synchronization while giving lip to a song is just terrific to say the least. It can be anything like classical and semi classical notes, but his lip will be as perfect as a trained classical singer. Mollywood film viewers had seen that in films like Bharatham, His highness Abdulla, Kamaladalam, Chithram, Chandralekha etc.
Many music directors, film makers and even many singers said that Mohanlal is incomparable when it comes to the Lip Synchronization in songs. Only Late Prem Nazeer is the one who gave perfect lip synchronization to the songs but that also not as perfect as Mohanlal does. Malayalam film lovers had always received the musical films well and now if this news comes true we are in for another musical journey from Mohanlal and M G Sreekumar team.
Rajesh Pillai’s new film with Kunchacko Boban and Jayasurya
Director Rajesh Pillai was all set to start his fourth film in this July after the critically acclaimed last outing titled Mili. Mili was his third film after Hridayathil Sookshikkan and Traffic. And among those three films Traffic was really a trendsetter in mollywood or we can say that it is a film which had changed the face of Mollywood few years back. It has inspired and motivated a lot of film makers to do try and do something very different and unique not bothering much about the trends in the industry.
It was such an influential film and Rajesh Pillai’s caliber as a film maker was very evident in each and every shot of the movie. Even though his first film was Kunchacko boban and Bhavana starrer romantic film Hridayathil Sookshikkan his really announced his grand entry into mollywood through Traffic and with that single film he made a position of his own in the industry.
This year January he came with Mili which has Nivin Pauly and Amala Paul in the lead and in this time also he dare to do something very different with a female oriented flick which gives a very strong message to the society. Even though the film is very well appreciated by the critics, the film has not become a great box office success. Now Rajesh pillai is coming again this year with his new film which is not titled yet.
The lead actors in this film will be Kunchacko Boban and Jayasurya and the film is all set to start in July this year. Ashiq usman will be the financer of this film under the banner of Milestone Cinemas. The screen writer of the film is Arun lal and famous cinematographer Santhosh Thundiyil will be the DOP of the film. Rajesh pillai had also planning a Mohanlal Project named Lucifer which will be scripted by Murali Gopi and that too can be expected from him in the near future.
