Lalisom, the name is just enough. The word Lalisom is associated with Malayali’s own Mohanlal. He is been considered as the Complete actor in Indian film industry and arguably the greatest living actor in our country today. He has his own unique style of acting which mesmerizes the spectators and make them to love him with their heart. Common people and critics alike calls it Lalisom.

Some months before Mohanlal posted a photo in his official Facebook page with music director Ratheesh Vega and a group of Musicians. In that post Mohanlal told the world that he is going to start a music band named Lalisom in association with JT PAC and Ratheesh Vega. It will be a musical journey through the evergreen songs of Mohanlal’s film career. Mohanlal is considered as the best in acting in song sequences and his lip synchronization while he acting in songs is considered the supreme in Indian film industry. Most of the favourite songs of Malayalees is from the films done by Mohanlal and he is only second to none other than Late Prem  Nazeer to have this regard. Mohanlal is famous for his singing capability too. He had sung many popular songs in Malayalam and he is the actor with most number of hits as a singer in Mollywood. Most of the songs sung by him were sensational hits among Keralites and those songs have cult fan following in every generations, from children to old people.

Ratheesh Vega, the Music director, is the leader of music behind this Lalisom band. He is one of the most talented and popular young music director in Mollywood . His most popular hits are from the films Cocktail, Beautiful, Run Baby Run etc… His song in Beautiful, “Mazhaneer Thullikal…” was a sensational hit and chart buster in Kerala. It is considered as one of the best romantic songs ever made in Malayalam. His association with Mohanlal has started in the film Run Baby Run in which Mohanlal had sung a song, “Attumanal Paayayil….”, which was the biggest hit of that year and which won Mohanlal great applause from all corners of the industry as well as from the common people. That song is considered as one of the most celebrated songs of the decade.

Tomorrow evening the first promo song of Lalisam band is going to be released and will reach to the eagerly waiting audience.  The video of the promo song was shot under the supervision of none other than Priyadarshan and it will be a reason more to wait for the promo song for the viewers. All of them have high expectation and hope on the magical Mohanlal and mesmerizing Ratheesh Vega.
