Kamal Haasan’s next with Lokesh Kanagaraj titled Vikram; Check out the title teaser!

As Kamal Haasan celebrates his 66th birthday today, the title announcement of his new film with director Lokesh Kanagaraj has been made. It has been titled as ‘Vikram’ and a brilliantly made teaser has also been released online. The 2-minute long video clip features Kamal hiding various weapons, including guns and knives, from his visitors — presumed to be cops and politicians. This title teaser further strengthens the speculations that Lokesh is planning an action-packed gangster flick.

Kamal’s own production house Raaj Kamal Film International (RKFI) is producing ‘Vikram’, which is planned as a summer 2021 release. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music. It is worth a mention that ‘Vikram’ is the title of another Kamal film that got released back in 1986. Interestingly, Anirudh has reused the same iconic background score for this new film as well.

Director Lokesh is a self-confessed fan of Kamal Haasan. So, ‘Vikram’ is expected to be a fanboy’s tribute as a matinee idol just like how Karthik Subbaraj made ‘Petta’ with Rajinikanth.
