Bharath makes his Bollywood dbeut with Salman Khan’s next

After making his acting debut with Shankar’s ‘Boys’, Bharath worked hard over the years to establish himself as a talented actor. However, box office success has mostly eluded him, which stopped him from getting the big break. But it seems like fortunes are changing for Bharath as he is set to make his Bollywood debut with a biggie.

Bharath has bagged a role in Salman Khan’s new film ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’. Prabhu Deva is directing the film. Earlier in the day, Bharath took to social medias to thank Prabhu Deva and also share a few photos taken on the movie’s sets. He has written,

Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Happy and blessed to be part of #radhee. A dream come true to act along side the most wanted Bhai of indian cinema. Heart filled thanks and gratitude to Prabhu master for keeping the faith in me. #radheeid2020 #eid2020. More updates soon

‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ is an action-packed cop flick that follows Radhe’s mission as an under cover cop. Radhe is the character name of Salman from his 2009 blockbuster film ‘Wanted’, also directed by Prabhu Deva. This new film is not exactly a sequel but has been conceived as a franchise model film that will feature Salman playing an undercover cop who poses as a bhai to crack the underworld nexus. Disha Patani plays the female lead while Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda will be seen in other major roles.

Jeethu Joseph has plans to make a sequel to Drishyam, reveals Kalabhavan Shajohn

It has been six years since the release of Mohanlal starrer ‘Drishyam’ but the film still remains a hot favorite among many for the sheer brilliance in Jeethu Joseph’s screenplay. It is easily one of the finest written thriller films that went on to be successfully remade in multiple languages. Even today, ‘Drishyam’ has a cult following and that was evident from the stellar response to a recent fan fiction post.

A youngster named Shyam Varkala had recently written a fan fiction on how the character Sahadhevan, after 20 long years, would eventually find where Georgekutty buried the body of Varun Prabhakar. Unlike the usual fan fiction posts, Shyam’s piece on ‘Drishyam’ has a real life connect that is certain to tug an average Malayali’s heartstrings. Within no time, the post went viral across social medias.

Director Jeethu Joseph and Kalabhavan Shajohn, who played Sahadevan, had words of appreciation for Shyam’s writing. Shajohn also revealed there are plans to make a sequel to ‘Drishyam’. Apparently, Mohanlal had hinted to him about making a second part some time back. Talks within the industry suggest Jeethu definitely has such plans as the story also has a wide scope. Official confirmation is still awaited.

Jeethu Joseph recently finished the shoot of his Tamil film starring Karthi, Jyothika and Nikhila Vimal. The director wil be next teaming up with Mohanlal and Trisha for a big budget film that will be shot extensively in foreign locations.

Kamal Haasan rates Fahadh Faasil, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shashank Arora as his current favorite actors!

‘Ulaganayagan’ Kamal Haasan is celebrating his 65th birthday today. Fans and well wishers have arranged many special events to make the day memorable. The star meanwhile is celebrating his birthday with his close friends and family members in Paramakudi, his hometown. Media persons from across the country have camped there where Kamal will be unveiling a statue of his late father.

While interacting with the journalists, Kamal was asked about his current favorite actors. While he refused to name anyone from Tamil film industry, he named Fahadh Faasil from Malayalam and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shashank Arora from Hindi.

Sify has quoted Kamal saying, “I want all the good actors to be my successors. If you ask me to name an actor in Tamil, I will never do that. But in the neighbouring state of Kerala, Fahadh Faasil is my favourite. In Hindi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui who used to work as my assistant in ‘Hey Ram’ is quite impressive and then there is this young actor Shashank Arora, who got the facial features similar to Nagesh, is doing a commendable job.”

It must be quite a proud moment for Fahadh Faasil, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shashank to get such words of appreciation from Kamal Haasan, unarguably one of the finest actors from this part of the world.
