Pandaarand: Mohanlal’s song from Drama grabs social media attention!

Last day, the first single from Mohanlal’s upcoming movie Drama was released in social medias. It came as a pleasant surprise that the superstar himself has rendered the track. This fun song titled ‘Pandaarand’ is composed by Vinu Thomas and lyrics are penned by BK Harinarayanan. The video features the fun moments that occurred on the movie’s sets. This Ranjith directorial is set for release on November 1, Kerala Piravi Day.

Unlike Ranjith-Mohanlal combo’s previous outings, Drama is a fun-filled entertainer without any superstar elements. The duo is well known for their mass entertainers, but Drama is said to be a feel-good movie with good dose of humour, sentiments and family drama. After a long gap, Mohanlal will be seen in a fun avatar.

Asha Sarath, Arundhathi Nag, Niranj Maniyan Pilla Raju, Siddique, Dileesh Pothan, Shyamaprasad, Johny Antony, Kaniha, Subi Suresh, Renji Panicker, Shalin Zoya and Tini Tom form the elaborate supporting cast. MK Nassar and Maha Subair are jointly producing Drama under the banners of Lilypad Motion Pictures and Varnachithra Good Line Productions.

Last evening, the teaser of Vijay’s upcoming movie Sarkar was released online. As expected, the teaser has created a storm in social medias. Within hours of its release, the teaser has shattered multiple records in YouTube. As of now, it has clocked a whopping 11 million views and 1 million likes. If the massive response for the teaser is anything to go by, the movie will set the box office on fire, when it hits screens on November 6.

Sarkar directed by AR Murugadoss is a political thriller that has Vijay playing a multi millionaire businessman. Circumstances force him to land in politics and he initiates a public uprising. The movie basically discusses about the importance of voting and how an ideal government should function. From the teaser, it is evident that the movie will be a treat for the fans as Vijay’s screen presence and trademark mannerisms are in plenty.

Keerthy Suresh is paired with Vijay in the movie. Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar is also there in an important character. Pala Karuppaiah, Radha Ravi, Livingston, Yogi Babu, Prem and many others are also part of the supporting cast. As informed earlier, the teaser of Thalapathy Vijay’s Sarkar has been released today evening. The teaser was shared online through Sun Pictures’ official Youtube handle. As expected, the teaser is a massy one featuring an extremely stylish Vijay. The movie directed by AR Murugadoss is gearing up for release on November 6, Diwali day.

Vijay’s previous two outings with director AR Murugadoss – Thuppakki and Kaththi – were hugely successful, so expectations are high on Sarkar. It is a political thriller that has Vijay playing Sundar, a multi-millionaire techie. The real plot takes off when circumstances force him to land in politics. The movie basically discusses about the importance of voting and how an ideal government should function.

2.0 songs to be out tomorrow!

As 2.0 gears up for release, the makers have announced that the first two songs from the movie will be released tomorrow. Lyric videos of the songs, Enthira Lokath Sundariye and Rajaali, will be out tomorrow in social medias. The audio versions of the songs composed by AR Rahman were released few months back and emerged as chart busters. The movie is slated for a grand worldwide release on November 29.

2.0 directed by is Shankar is the continuation of his blockbuster film Enthiran, but it is not exactly a sequel. The new film is much bigger in terms of scale and production values. From the glimpses we got to see in the teaser and making videos, the movie promises to be visual extravaganza, something of the sort that is never-before-seen in Indian cinema.

2.0 marks the coming together of two of Indian cinema’s biggest superstars, Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, for the first time. Lyca Productions is funding this mega budget movie. It is said to be the first Indian movie to be shot entirely in 3D format.

Dhanush is currently on a high with the extremely positive response for his latest outing, Vada Chennai. The actor has multiple projects coming up – Maari 2 and Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta with Gautham Menon. He has also committed for a fantasy entertainer with ‘Ratchasan’ fame Ram Kumar, a stand-alone film with Vetrimaaran out of the ‘Vada Chennai’ series, and another one with Karthik Subbaraj. Dhanush is presently working on his new directorial, a period flick, co-starring Nagarjuna, Sarathkumar, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Nithya Menen, and Aditi Rao Hydari.

For the last few months, there has been a buzz about Dhanush teaming up with his brother, ace filmmaker Selvaraghavan. In a recent interview, when quizzed about the same, the actor said, “As of now, I’m looking forward to NGK as it’s a dream combo featuring Selva sir, Suriya sir, and Yuvan. I will be joining hands with my brother in 2019.”

As Dhanush said, NGK has a dream team and expectations on the movie are massive. The movie is a political thriller featuring Suriya as an MLA. Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi play the two female leads in the movie. The team is currently on a break; next schedule is slated to commence in November. The makers are planning to release the movie by early next year.

The movie is directed by Marthandan and scripted by Joji Thomas of ‘Vellimoonga’ fame. From the trailer anr songs, the movie looks like a fun filled entertainer for the families. Recently, the makers have released a new song in social medias. The track rendered by composer Deepak Dev’s daughter Devika Deepak Dev and Bijibal’s son Devath Bijibal is getting good response from the viewers.

Director Marthandan is known for his films like ‘Deivathinte Swantham Cleetus’, ‘Acha Din’ and ‘Pavada’. ‘Johny Johny Yes Appa’ is also expected to be on similar lines to his earlier works. The movie has Anu Sithara as Kunchako Boban’s pair. Mamta Mohandas is also there in a very crucial role. Amidst huge expectations, the the first part from Dhanush-Vetrimaaran combo’s gangster trilogy, Vada Chennai, hit screens on Wednesday (October 17). The movie has opened to massive numbers at the box office. Despite being an A-rated film, which keeps the family audience, the movie has become the highest opening grosser in Dhanush’s career.

Confirming the same, trade analyst Kaushik has tweeted,

Vada Chennai opened to extremely positive reviews from all corners. Most leading critics have rated it as the finest gangster click to have come out of Tamil cinema. In Kerala, where Mini Studio released the movie, the response has been good so far in multiplexes. Last day, despite being a hartal, almost all the theatres in Ernakulam screening Vada Chennai had high occupancy.

The first look poster of upcoming movie ‘Ottakkoru Kamukan’ has been released today in social medias. The movie is being directed by newcomers Ajinlal and Jayan Vannery. Joju George and Abhirami play major roles in the movie. Shine Tom Chacko, Lijomol Jose, Kalabhavan Shajon, Arundhathi Nair, Vijayaraghavan, Bhagath Manuel, Dain Davis, Nimi Manuel, Shaheen Siddique and Shalu Rahim are also part of the movie’s supporting cast.

As we already know, Malayalam superstar Mammootty is playing the lead in the biopic of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy. The movie titled as Yatra is being directed by Mahi V Raghav. Shoot for the movie is currently progressing. Today, on the holy occasion of Dussehra, the makers have released a new poster through their official social media handle. With the new poster, they have also confirmed December 21 as the release date.

YSR is one of the most popular and revered politicians that the state of Andhra Pradesh has ever seen. Yatra, according to the makers, is an event-based film which primarily focuses on the time during YSR’s famous three-month-long padayatra in 2003. The padayatra was a defining moment in his career which transformed him into a people’s leader.

Apart from Mammootty, the movie also stars Rao Ramesh, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Posani Krishna Murali, Vinod Kumar and Sachin Khedekar. Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devi Reddy are jointly producing the movie under their banner of 70MM Entertainments.

Queen Malayalam remake: Here’s the first look of Manjima’s Zam Zam

As we had reported earlier, Manjima Mohan is playing the lead in the Hindi remake of acclaimed Hindi film, Queen. First look of the Malayalam version, which is titled as Zam Zam, has been released today. Manjima shared the first look on her official social media handle. Along with that, the first look of all the South Indian versions have also been released.

The Tamil version titled as Paris Paris has Kajal Aggarwal playing the lead. Tamannaah Bhatia stars in the Telugu version, That Is Mahalakshmi, and Parul Yadav in the Kannada verison, Butterfly. Ramesh Aravind is directing the Tamil and Kannada versions while the Telugu remake is helmed by Prashanth Varma. The Manjima Mohan starrer Zam Zam is directed by Neelakanta. The movie also stars Sunny Wayne, Baiju and Muthumani in major roles.

Queen, directed by Vikas Bahl, is widely regarded as one of the finest women empowerment movies to be made in Indian cinema. It is the story of a naïve young woman, who sets out on a honeymoon trip alone after being ditched by her fiancee. Kangana Ranaut’s portrayal of Rani in the movie won her accolades from all quarters including a National Award and the Filmfare Award for the Best Actress in a Leading Role.
