The wait will be over within 2 weeks and Hit maker Siddique is coming back with Bhaskar The Rascal which has Mega star Mammootty and Nayanthara in the lead and siddique’s previous film was the film titled Ladies and Gentleman starred Mohanlal and Meera Jasmine in the lead. This film Bhaskar The Rascal is all set to release and according to reports we are getting it will hit the screen on April 12th. The film tells the story of Bhaskar, his unusual ways of looking at things and also the relationships of him with his son and with others who coming to his life. The film has artists like Kalabahavan Shajon, Nayanthara, Master Sanoop, Jananrdhanan etc.
We all know the fact that Siddique-Lal duo was the most successful film maker duo in mollywood history as all of their films are super hits and record breakers. Later they split up due to some personal differences and began make films independently. Lal also tried his hands at acting and now he is one of the most popular actor in mollywood who had won the state award for best actor two times. While Siddique continued his golden run as a director and he had a dream debut in Bollywood as well with the film Bodyguard in which Salman Khan played the lead role.
Siddique and Mammootty had done two films together before Bhaskar the rascal and both were super hits. They are Hitler and Chronic Bachelor. After Chronic Bachelor it was almost 14 years since they worked together and that itsel had created great hopes and expectations about this film. Siddique said that this project is made in his trademark style which is famous for hilarious comic situations, action, dance and music etc. He assures that it will be a family entertainer for generations irrespective of age. Mammootty is now fresh from the success of Fireman is looking for a big hit which is staying away from him for quite a while.
As a part of summer release 3 films already made it to the theaters and they are Dulquer Salmaan’s 100 Days Of Love conceived by debutant Jenuse, Mohanlal’s Ennum Eppozhum helmed by Sathyan Anthikkad and Nivin Pauli’s Oru Vadakkan Selfie directed by another debutant Prajith. And the most heartening thing is that all these films getting great audience response and already reached to the top of hit chart giving a breather for Mollywood from a series of flopes. Bhaskar the rascalteam also hoping that their film will too become a great success and contribute to the revival of mollywood film industry which has been on the decline for last 3-4 months.
