Cheating case filed against Professor Dinkan producer
‘Professor Dinkan’ is an ambitious 3D film starring Dileep in the lead. Veteran cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Ramachandra Babu is directing the film that has been in the making for over two years. Sanal Thottam is producing the film under the banner of New TV. A cheating case has been filed against him by NRI Rafael Thomas, a native of Irinjalakuda. The petitioner has complained that Sanal Thottam cheated him for over Rs 5 crore on the pretext of the film’s production. Reports also suggest that Sanal has tried to cheat many others.
‘Professor Dinkan’ got delayed due to multiple reasons. The makers are yet to complete a few portions. Shot entirely in 3D format, the movie is being made on a lavish budget. Rafi has scripted the movie which has Dileep playing the lead role of a magician. It revolves around this ambitious magician whose aim is to astonish the world with a risky magic trick. But one such attempts fails miserably and ends up affecting a lot of people. How he tries to patch up with the people and undo the damage through minor magic tricks forms the plot.
Namitha Pramod, Srinda, Aju Varghese and Vishnu Unnikrishnan are also part of the cast. Last year, the team had travelled to Bangkok to shoot some fight sequences. Renowned action choreographer Kaecha Kampakdee is helming the stunt portions.
