Tomichan Mulakupadam coming up with Dileep movie Ramaleela after the epic success of Pulimurugan

With the epic success got by Pulimurugan, producer Tomichan Mulakupadam had become one of the most popular names here in Kerala and his banner named Mulakupadam films is now one of the most known banners in Mollywood.

As you all know, Pulimurugan had covered 125 crore gross and it steadily moving towards the 150 crore mark in box office as well. After Pulimurugan, Tomichan Mulakupadam is coming up with a political thriller next year and it will have popular actor Dileep in lead role.

The flick has been titled as Ramaleela and it will be directed by a debutant named Arun Gopi. Popular writer and director Sachy had written the screenplay of this flick and it will start rolling once Dileep comes back from his honeymoon trip. Dileep will complete the dubbing of Georgettan’s Pooram before joining this movie.

The character Dileep plays in Ramaleela, is that of a MLA and his character name is Ramanunni. He had earlier played characters which had political shade, in movies like Lion and Nadodi Mannan. Lion was a super hit movie and Nadodi Mannan was a box office flop.

Prayaga Martin will play the female lead in this upcoming movie and her character name will be Helena. Popular Kollywood character actress Radhika Sarath Kumar will play the mother character of Dileep in this movie and it will be her comeback to Mollywood after 23 long years.

Manyam Puli, the Telugu dubbed version of historical Mollywood blockbuster Pulimurugan starring Mohanlal and directed by Vysakh, is making waves in Andhra and Telangana box office. It had emerged as a clear box office winner there, as it had earned the profit margin from just 4 days run there.

Trade guides from Telugu states reported that they had never witnessed such a craze for a dubbed film there and Manym Puli surely end up doing record business there. Common audience are praising the movie and the performance of Mohanlal in it.

They also appreciating the efforts of stunt master Peter Hein for his stunt choreography as well. Even on working days, the film is doing steady business and it had really amazed the box office analysts there.

Now, a great word of appreciation had come for the movie and for Mohanlal as well. It is from none other than Telugu Super Star Mahesh Babu. Manyam Puli was distributed there by Tomichan Mulakupadam and Saraswathy Films owned by producer S Krishna Reddy. S Krishna Reddy last day told to media that Super Star Mahesh Babu had watched the movie as he heard about the fantastic reception getting by this movie.

After watching the movie, he told that he really loved the film and also praised the performance of Legendary Actor Mohanlal. Krishna Reddy said that, the flick is doing extra-ordinarily well at box office and this success was beyond expectation.

The star power of Mohanlal is now on another scale there after the reception got by Manyam Puli.

Kerala Blasters star football players CK Vineeth, Rino Anto, Mohammed Rafi got a chance to met Megastar Mammootty recently.

The football players met Mammootty in the shooting sets of his upcoming movie, Puthan Panam directed by Ranjith.

They also took photos with the star actor. CK Vineeth posted the photos in his official Facebook page. All of them were visibly elated to meet the star personally.

CK Vineeth’s Facebook post reads,
My superhero! My idol! Life changes every time I meet him! Heart stopped right at this moment and my hand shivers even now.”

Kamal Haasan has been receiving a lot of flak from Twitter users for his curt tweet mourning Jayalalitha’s demise.

The actor kept his message very brief and apparently that didn’t go down well with many people. Even Kamal Haasan’s own followers criticised him for his tweet.

Kamal Hasaan wrote in Tamil, “Deep sympathy for those who depend on Jayalalithaa”. Now this tweet has irked many people especially AIADMK supporters, who have accused him of showing irreverence to a departed soul.

Many other actors and celebrities from across the country had poured their emotions in their tweets but Kamal Haasan’s tweet sounds abrupt and incomplete without even mentioning the late Cheif Minister’s name.

Twitterati are claiming that Kamal Haasan is still not over from the fall out between him and the late Chief Minister. During the release of his big budget movie Vishwaroopam in 2013, the government had stalled the release of his movie due to protests by many religious groups.

As a result the movie was banned in Tamil Nadu and was released in other states first. Kamal Haasan came out in open saying that he will think of moving out of the state if the movie is not released because he had invested his entire wealth in the movie.

However the Chief Minister stood firmly on her decision and explained how the ban in Tamil Nadu was due to the violent protest and not because she had any hatred against the actor.
After many compromise talks, the movie was finally released and later went on to become a big blockbuster.

Jayalalithaa died at the Apollo Hospital in Chennai late on Monday after suffering a massive cardiac arrest on the day before. The state funeral of Jayalalitha was held at Marina Beach in Chennai.

After the demise of Tamil Nadu’s beloved political leader J Jayalalitha yesterday night, the one question that has been asked by many is “Who will lead the party next?”

Jayalalitha’s loyalist O Paneerselvam has already sworn in as the next Chief Minister of the state. But, there are widespread reports that popular Tamil actor Ajith Kumar might lead AIADMK for the next elections.

Many Tamil media reports claim that Ajith is the no.1 contender for the spot of party leader. Many reports on the internet proclaim that Amma has already prepared her will and have given the same to her loyal party members.

They also report that party has decided Ajith would lead the party and O Paneerselvam would assist Ajith Kumar.

When Jayalalitha was first admitted to the Apollo Hospital on September 22, Ajith was the first one to pay her visit.

This specualtions first started surfaced a month back when a newspaper in Kannada reported that Jayalalithaa had already decided on Ajith as her successor and that party members of AIADMK were aware of the decision.

Ajith is currently shooting in Bulgaria for his upcoming movie.

He issued a press statement that reads, “I express my deepest condolences to my fellow citizens of Tamil Nadu and to the cadres of AIADMK on the demise of our beloved leader Honourable Dr Puratchi Thalaivi Amma.

She had fought many battles and stood tall among the leaders of our times. This news comes as a shock to me as we were praying for and hopeful of her speedy recovery.

May her soul rest in peace. I pray to the almighty to give us the strength during this time of grief.”

Nothing is official as of yet. Let’s wait and watch how things proceed before the next elections in 2018.

Cheif Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalitha had passed away last night after battling prolonged illness. People from all walks of the society, including celebrities across the country are paying homage to her.

Mammootty in Kochi, said that he is joining the Tamil community in mourning Jayalalitha’s death. The actor said, “Even after being such a busy and prominent actress in the film industry, she decided to join politicians.

That was a great decision according to me. The sad demise of this iron lady, has inflicted a big loss to all the women, the field of politics and the whole of Tamil Nadu.

I can understand their bereavement being a resident ot Tamil Nadu myself. I am praying for her soul to rest in peace.”

Many celebrities are paying their respects to Jayalalitha through Facebook and Twitter. Rajinikanth said, the nation has lost a brave daughter. Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan also paid their tributes to Jayalalitha through tweets.

According to trade sources, Ore Mukham has collected a meager 75 lakhs from the first two days of its theatrical run.

If the collections continues at this rates, chances are high that the movie will incur huge losses commercially.

The movie stars Dhyan Sreenivasan, Aju Varghese, Deepak Parambol, Prayaga Martin, Chemban Vinod, Renji Panicker, Abhirami, Arjun Nandhakumar, Devan, Gayathri Suresh and many other actors in supporting roles.

10 Kalpanakal stars Anoop Menon and Meera Jasmine in the lead roles. Actress Meera Jasmine is making a comeback into mainstream cinema after a gap through this movie. She played the role of a cop for the first time in her decade long career through this movie.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha had passed away yesterday last night after suffering from prolonged illness. Her death news came as a huge shock for the Tamilians across the state.

People from all age groups were visibly shattered and crying relentlessly in front of the Apollo and the Rajaji hall where her mortal remains is now kept for the public to pay their homage.

The sight of women and even kids crying while mourning for her death, is very disturbing and heart wrenching. But then a section of people are mocking the sentiments of the Tamil people for being so emotional and melodramatic for the death of a leader.

Actor Aju Varghese has lashed out those who are making fun of Tamilians, by sharing a post. The post reads,

Tamilians are getting so emotional after Jayalalitha’s death because she is more like a family leader for them than just a political leader. She has given everything for them, right from a girl child’s birth to her marriage.

People are crying uncontrollably, not for showing their face on TVs or medias. It is because of their immense love and respect for their Chief Minister.

We might not mourn like this, if someone who has done so many good things for the betterment of the people has passed away. We might mourn for 2 minuets and then move on to the next issue.

But then why are we branding them foolish, is it because they are mourning for the death of their leader who has done everything possible for the welfare of the peoples.

Before making them fun of them, we should first look at the situation in our state. We should understand that, even if a prominent leader from our state dies, there will not be any such mourning or grieving.

That is not because we are intelligent or they are brainless, it is because we see our leaders only through TV channels, whereas people in Tamil Nadu see Jayalalitha as their family member. So please don’t make fun of them.
