I was not invited for Dileep Kavya Madhavan wedding : Bhavana

Actress Bhavana has now been caught up in a controversy regarding her absence from the star studded wedding of actors Dileep and Kavya Madhavan. But the actress has lashed up at all these reports and said that she was not invited for the wedding.

Some reports are doing the rounds in social medias, claiming that Bhavana was the reason behind Dileep and Manju Warrier’s separation and that the actress intentionally stayed away from Dileep-Kavya Madhavan wedding even after being invited by the couple.

But now, Bhavana has made it clear that she was not invited for the wedding and that she has no problem with that. She has said that, “It’s their personal choice to invite who all for their marriage. They had invited people who feel are close to them. That doesn’t affect me in any way.”

She also added that she will move legally against those people who are spreading such fake news against her. A lot of speculations and fake news are being circulated in social medias, post Dileep- Kavya Madhavan’s wedding.

Bhavana is currently shooting for Honey Bee 2 Celebrations, the sequel to 2013 superhit movie Honey Bee.

Dharmajan was recently praised by none other than Megastar Mammootty for his performance as Dasappan in Kattappanayile Hrithik Roshan.

It was during Dileep and Kavya Madhavan’s wedding that Mammootty appreciated Dharmajan.

Dharmajan in a recent interview talked about the praise he has been receiving for the role of Dasappan. Dasappan is full of positive energy with loads of humour. He had an emotional scene at the climax, which is a praiseworthy one.

But Dharmajan has said that, more than his comedy scenes he liked the ones with Salim Kumar, who was in fine form reminding us of his golden “Manavalan” and “Pyarilal” days.

During the shoot when Dileep, who is producing this movie, jokingly said to Dharmajan that I am sending crores for you people.

After the success of the movie, recently when Dharmajan met his producer, he had teasingly replied back that “now you are earning cores with actors like me”.

Dharmajan also added that he was very happy with how the auidence have lapped up his performance in the movie. He said, I felt very proud when I came to know that Mammootty is recommending me for many roles in upcoming movies.

He added that he will soon bag a chance to act with Mammootty.

Mammootty’s new movie Puthan Panam has started rolling in Kochi from November 25. The movie directed by Ranjith will have Mammootty playing a character named Nithyananda Shenoy.

The actor will be speaking with a Kasargode dialect for the movie. Mammootty has always been known for his amazing ability to talk in various regional slangs.

He mastered the Trivandrum slang for Rajamanikyam, Thrissur slang for Pranchiyettan and the Saint and the authentic Kozhikode slang for his stunning performance as Murikkum Kunnath Ahmed Haji in Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha.

Puthan Panam will deal with money issues prevailing in the society. Mammootty was seen sporting a thick moustache with grey hair. He was also wearing many ornaments, so we believe that Nithyananda Shenoy is a wealthy businessman.

The director-actor duo have earlier made critically and commercially acclaimed movies like Kaiyyoppu, Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha, Pranchiyettan and the Saint etc.

Puthan Panam also stars veteran actors Siddique, Sheelu Abraham ,Sai Kumar, Mamukoya, Renji Panicker, Aanandam fame Vishak Nair, Ineya, Harish Kanaran, Nirmal Palazhi, Swaraj and many other actors in supporting roles.

Om Prakash who has cranked the camera for movies like Maari and Kashmora will be handling the cinematography for Puthan Panam. Shabaaz Aman is roped in as the music director.

The movie is bankrolled by director Ranjith’s new production company 3 Color Cinemas, that also has Abraham Mathew (Abaam Movies)actor Arun Narayanan and as partners. Shoot will happen in Kochi, Kasargode and Goa.

After the wedding of much talked about Dileep- Kavya Madhavan wedding, the one question that has been asked by every Malayali cine audience is “Will Kavya Madhavan act again?”

Manju Warrier, Dileep’s first wife, left movies at a time when she was at the peak of her career. After her marriage in 1998 she stopped signing movies and became content as a homemaker.

Dileep even mentioned once that he could not bear to see another man hugging her onscreen. Later Dileep went on to record that, quitting films was primarily Manju’s decision.

After their separation started doing the rounds, in an interview when asked about the reason for the trouble in their relationship, Dileep had said that he did not like Manju Warrier pursuing an acting career again.

He even said that he expressed disapproval with some directors who tried to cast her in their movies.

After their separation, Manju became active in film industry and the Malayali audience welcomed her back again with open arms.

She did movies like How Old are you, Ennum Eppozhum, Karinkunnam 6s,Vettah, Jo and the Boy post her comeback.

Prithviraj to take flying classes for his new movie Vimaanam

Prithviraj Sukumaran is currently shooting in Portugal for his upcoming movie My Story directed by debutant Roshni Dinaker. Parvathy Menon is playing the female lead in this romantic movie scripted by Shankar Ramakrishnan.

The actor had earlier signed for a movie titled Vimaanam. He will be now learning the basics of flying to play a mechanic who builds an ultra-light aircraft.

Director Pradeep M Nair informed that the movie will have a few scenes that would involve Prithviraj’s character flying an aircraft. Retired fighter pilot SKJ Nair will be serving as the chief advisor for the movie.

He is a nationally known personality for his expertise in ultra-light aircrafts. Prithviraj will be taking flying lessons at SKJ Nair’s flying yard in Ambasamudram in Tamil Nadu. The team will also be shooting for a few scenes during the training.

Prithviraj is playing a youth who is a pre-degree dropout. His main aim in life is to build an aircraft that he can fly. The film will have a debutante playing the female protagonist.

The movie also has is an interesting romantic track, which will have much prominence to musical tracks. Gopi Sunder has finished composing the music for the movie.

As per the director, Vimaanam will go on floors by January 20, once the actor finishes his Portugal schedule of My Story.

He will be returning back to the country by mid- December after which he is expected to join the sets of Tiyaan. After that, Prithviraj will join the team of Vimaanam.

Mammootty’s Tamil movie Peranbu to release in Malayalam

Mammoootty after a long gap is starring in a Tamil movie. Peranbu, directed by Ram has been long in the making. It is said to be an emotional drama just like Ram’s previous movie Katradhu Thamizh and Thanga Meengal.

According to sources, Peranabu will be a bilingual made in Tamil and Malayalam. Reportedly, It was Mammootty who had convinced the director to release the movie in Malayalam also as he felt it suit the sensibilities of the Malayalam audience as well.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring the music for Peranbu while National award winner Sreekar Prasad is handling the editing. The movie is produced by PL Thenappan under the banner Sri Rajalakshmi Films.

Anjali is female lead in this movie which also stars Suraj Venjaramoodu, Thanga Meengal fame Baby Sadhana and Kaniha in other important roles. Several bilinguals are now releasing in Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu.

Mohanlal’s Vismayam, Janatha Garage were bilinguals in Malayalam and Telugu. Now Oppam and Pulimurugan is also dubbed in other languages. This new trend is part of the wider market of Malayalam movies.

Aamir Khan’s upcoming movie is Dangal, a sports drama based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who trained his daughters, Babita Phogat and Geetha Kumari in wrestling.

Aamir Khan did an incredible body transformation for the movie for playing the lead character. His character has two different looks, one as a old man with a flabby tummy and grey hair and the other in his prime age as a wrestler with a chiseled physique.

The makers have now released a video showing the efforts and dedication he took to perfect the two distinct looks. Aamir Khan put on 28 kilos before the shoot for playing the older part. He weighed about 95 kgs during that time. Later, for playing the character’s younger age he shed 15 kg and worked hard for a ripped body to look perfect as a wrestler. He has not used any body double for the wrestling scenes in the movie.

Aamir Khan’s transformation was in the news earlier when some location stills were leaked during the shoot. He consciously stayed away from public events and functions to maintain his looks. The actor had breathing problems and other ailments while putting weight for the movie. His fans and family were concerned about the risk he was taking for the sake of a movie. But Aamir known for his perfection was willing to go to any extent to look perfect as the character demanded it.

The video released by the makers have gone viral and the actor is being showered with praise from all corners for his dedication and hard work.

Dangal is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Sidharth Roy Kapoor is jointly producing the movie under the banner Aamir Khan Productions and Disney World Cinemas.

Dangal is scheduled to release on 23 December 2016.
