People hate Mohanlal only because of their jealousy : Director Siddique

Director Siddique is one of the very few senior directors in Mollywood who is still in the limelight making commercially successful movies. In a recent interview, Siddique shared his experiences with the superstar of Mollywood, Mohanlal. Siddique has worked with Mohanlal in movies like Vietnam Colony and Ladies and Gentleman.

Siddique says, I have never seen Mohanlal purposely hurting anyone. He never hurts others feelings neither by his talks or actions. Because of that nobody hates Mohanlal, even if someone hates him its only because of their jealousy towards his growth ans popularity. Or else it could be because of the clash between their likings.

He continued, I have never seen Mohanlal shouting at someone, he always talks softly to others. Even while shooting he tones down his voice a bit. Similarly, when facing a difficult situation Mohanlal prefers to stay away from it and he does that very easily. Even if it is a very happy moment, he does not go overboard and stays calm and grounded. He can easily control his emotions and that is why people say he is such a great actor.

I have also seen him avoiding people who have hurt him badly, while trying to solve some problems as a middle person. Even then, Mohanlal never utters a bad word about them and simply prefers to stay away from the issue.
Mohanlal has fans in all the age groups. Youngsters, old aged people, kids everybody love him relentlessly. Even the younger generation who try to brand him as an old guy, love him and his movies.

Mohanlal cannot be written off at any moment. He will be an indispensable part of the industry till he himself decides it’s time to hang the boots. That is true stardom, said director Siddique.

Mohanlal has proved his naysayers wrong again by delivering three back to blockbusters in two different languages. Out of which two movies entered the elite 100 crore club. His last release in Mollywood, Pulimurugan is the biggest ever blockbuster in the Malayalam film industry going past the 100 crore mark recently.

“On 15 October 2013, the income tax department conducted raid in the house of Shubendu Amitabh, president of the group executive of Aditya Birla Group. His Blackberry phones, laptop everything was thoroughly checked. They found a ledger entry in his laptop stating that on 16 November 2012, the Gujarat Chief Minister was paid Rs 25 crores,” Arvind Kejriwal said.

“This raid happened in 2013. The Congress was in power. But they should have initiated action given that Narendra Modi was projected as Prime Minister face for BJP. Then it means that the BJP and Congress had deals between them. They must have thought that once Narendra Modi becomes the PM, he will help them in the Robert Vadra case,” Arvind Kejriwal added.

Arvind Kejriwal urged the central government to rollback the demonetisation initiative that has affected the common man’s day to day life.
