Janatha Garage first day reports disappointed me, says Siva Koratala

Janatha Garage, the Mohanlal-Jr NTR starrer Telugu movie is on the way to be a milestone movie in Tollywood as it had already grossed more than 100 crore from its worldwide run. The movie which made using a budget of 40 crore already earned a worldwide share around 67 crore and become the second fastest Telugu movie to get 60 crore+ share after SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali.

The flick has been directed and scripted by Koratala Siva and he said in a recent media interview that he was disappointed when he heard the first reviews of the movie after its benefit shows from Telugu states. But later people accepted the movie with both hands.

He said that at first some average reviews came because people expected a complete action movie from Jr NTR-Mohanlal combination. Janatha Garage is not a complete action movie, but it is more of an emotional family drama with action in it.

Mohanlal is been getting tremendous appreciation for his performance in the film and the Telugu people had accepted him with both hands. This flick had become the biggest hit till now in Jr NTR’s career and through this film, both Mohanlal and Jr NTR had entered in the 100 crore club for the first time.

It is their first production venture and they are going all out with their promotion and marketing for their first venture.

Anirudh Ravichander, the popular music director in Kollywood, had tuned the songs for this movie and now it is conquering South India like a boss. The complete songs from the movie is released on the 5th of September and all songs had become chartbusters from the day of its release itself.

Songs like Tamilselvi, Meesabeauty, Daavuyya etc were sensational success all over. The English version of the Sirikkadhey promo video also making waves. The English version is named as come closer and it also released on the 5th of September this year. The Sirikkadhey promo video song has been released last month, featuring Sivakarthikeyan, Anirudh Ravichander and Keerthy Suresh. It had become a big success as well in Social Media and the YouTube views for that video had crossed 1 Million.

The posters of the movie also trending in social media which has Sivakarthikeyan’s female getup in it. The movie will hit the screens all over on 7th October this year as well.

Oppam, the thriller from Mohanlal-Priyadarshan team had released all over last Thursday and getting tremendous response from all over. The film is doing fantastic business in box office with positive mouth publicity spreading like wildfire. Priyadarshan, the master director is back with a bang after a series of failures in last few years.

Mohanlal also made a terrific comeback as Oppam marked the third consecutive success of his this year. The other two successes are from Tollywood as his Telugu movies named Manamantha and Janatha Garage had become box office hits. Priyadarshan is quite excited with the response his film is getting and he said to media that Oppam may become the biggest hit in his career.

Oppam, the Mohanlal film which released on September 8th once again proving that this Man Mohanlal is the undisputed ruler of Mollywood box office. His movie Oppam scripted and directed by Priyadarshan is now seems unstoppable at box office and the film is creating thunderstorm at box office now.

As per the latest collection report that is coming in from official sources, the flick had earned 7.25 crore from its 4 day run. From its first weekend it grossed above 7.25 crore and it is history in the making in Mollywood. On its 4th day, which was a Sunday, it had grossed above 2 crore from box office. The exact box office figure on Sunday was 2.03 crore.

From Ernakulam multiplexes as well the film had raked in almost 35 lakhs from 4 days run. Each day, the collection is increasing and the coming holidays will make it one of the biggest hits in this year. On its first day it had got 1.56 crore from Kerala. The second day was better as it got 1.77 crore from here. The third day was even better and it raked in 1.89 crore on Saturday.

Now, on Sunday as we mentioned above, it grossed 2.03 crore. The collection is increasing steadily as each day passes and yes, the Drishyam days are back for Mollywood and Mohanlal. In Rest of India market too, the film is doing great. In Chennai the shows are increased from 15 to 23 from today and everywhere show is getting increased.

The trailer is filled with amazing visuals and superb stunt sequences from Mohanlal. But some people started to say that it was not Mohanlal but his dupe had done all those stunts and tried all methods to insult him. Everyone knows very clearly that Mohanlal is the best in Mollywood when it comes to fight sequences and he never uses dupes to do even highly risky stunts in his movies.

Now, the stunt Man Eric Newik Cullet had come out through his official Facebook page and said that he was not a dupe for Mohanlal in Pulimurugan. His photo was spread in social media by the haters of Mohanlal saying that he was the dupe for Mohanlal in the movie. At first some medias posted that he is a Mohanlal fan from France. He denied that as well as he first met Mohanlal when he came to the set of Pulimurugan as a stuntman.

Eric said in his social media post that he is a professional stunt man working mostly in American and European Productions. He said that he had worked in the movie Pulimurugan as a stuntman in last January. He said that he respect Mohanlal for his absolute commitment to what he is doing and his body flexibility has been amazing at this age. He asks the haters that can their dad or granddad will be able to do what Mohanlal does in his 56th year..? He says that even youngsters will find it difficult to do some moves he does in fight sequences.

Eric said that he is a professional stunt man and 32 years old. But even he can’t do some moves done by Mohanlal in the fight sequences. Eric said that he works in movies as Fight choreographer, stunt coordinator and stunt man. Eric said all of them to watch the movie and enjoy the stunts by Mohanlal choreographed by Peter Hein. Eric had really shut the mouth of the haters of Mohanlal with his terrific reply.

Now, today they had announced the title of the movie and it is Munthiri Vallikal Thalirkkumbol. Sindhu Raj, the script writer of this movie had announced it through his Facebook page. The flick has been bankrolling by Sophia Paul under the banner of Weekend Blockbusters.

Pulimurugan is the upcoming film of Mollywood Super Star Mohanlal and the trailer of the film had released last day 6 PM in the evening. It had got fantabulous reception from the viewers and now created all-time history in Mollywood.

The 24 hour view count of the trailer had crossed 6 lakh views and no other Malayalam teaser never ever done that in YouTube before. The real time views of the trailer had got hanged at 4.9 lakh after completing 24 hours. But the estimated view graph of the channel shows that the view count had actually crossed 6 lakh views.

Even in real time hanged views, Pulimurugan trailer had created record as it surpassed the Kali trailer views in 24 hours. Kali trailer had got 4.8+ lakhs in 24 hour time. It had surpassed the estimated view count of Kasaba teaser (5.01 lakhs) and Janatha Garage Malayalam teaser (5.80 lakhs) in 24 hour time.

In real time views also Pulimurugan trailer had surpassed Kasaba teaser. Kasaba teaser had only 3.72 lakh real time views in 24 hour time.
