Janatha Garage Collection Report 4 Days Worldwide

Mohanlal-Jr NTR movie Janatha Garage is rocking the box office with fabulous performance. This Telugu movie directed by Koratala Siva had set the box office on fire and the film is moving towards the 100 crore mark in box office in a rapid pace. It will be the first 100 crore movie in the career of both Mohanlal and Jr NTR.

The film had already earned a share of 50 crores from 3 day time and it’s a record in Tollywood. Janata Garage is the second fastest movie to cross 50 crore share from box office after Baahubali in Tollywood. As per the latest reports that is coming in from trade guides in Tollywood, the movie has been raked in an amount above 87 crores from its 4 day extended first weekend.

On its first day, it had raked in an amount near 41 crores from worldwide run. On its second day it got around 18 crores and on 3rd day it got 13 crores. 4th day was a Sunday and it got 15 crore on that which made its total worldwide gross to touch 87 crores.

The flick had got great reviews from all around and appreciations is flowing in for the Mollywood Super Star Mohanlal for his sterling performance in the movie.

Sivakarthikeyan starrer movie named Remo is getting ready for a grand release next month and they had already announced the release date of the movie. October 7 has been chosen to release the movie all over the world. Debutant director Bhagyaraj Kannan had written and directed this movie and it has been bankrolled by RD Raja under the banner named 24 AM Studio.

Remo is their first ever production venture and they had already announced their coming 3 movies as well. Anirudh Ravichander had tuned the music for this film and it has been launched by music maestro AR Rahman through his official twitter account. The songs from the movie had already started to make waves in social media.

They had released a promo video song named Sirikkadhey featuring Sivakarthikeyan, Keerthy Suresh, Anirudh Ravichander etc and it had become a sensational hit among the film lovers. It has an English version as well named Come Closer. Prabhu Radahakrishnan had directed the Sirikkadhey promo song for this movie. PC Sreeram had cranked the camera for this movie and Keerthy Suresh had played the female lead in it.

The film had already in the news for the female getup sporting by Sivakarthikeyan in it. He is been sporting the getup of a female nurse in the flick and his female look had went viral in Social Media as well.

Aadupuliyattam is the horror thriller which released this year in Mollywood and become a decent success at box office. It had given a sigh of relief for popular actor Jayaram who has been going through a terrible patch in his career for the last few years. Kannan Thamarakkulam had directed this movie and it was written by Dinesh Pallathu.

Haseeb Haneef and Noushad Alathur had bankrolled this project which had popular artists like Om Puri, Remya Krishnan as well in its cast list. As per the latest report coming in, the Aadupuliyattam team to join again for a movie and it is said to be a multi-star movie in which Jayaram will play the lead character.

Director Kannan Thamarakkulam said that Jayaram will play a never seen before character in this movie and he will sport a different look too for this character. The film will be a thriller and there will be three other major characters in it as well. Kannan Thamarakkulam had directed the movie Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare with Jayaram at first, which was his debut film as a director. The Tamil and Telugu version of Aadupuliyattam will also release soon, says the director.

Janatha Garage, the Mohanlal-Jr NTR starrer Koratala Siva movie is doing fabulous business from its worldwide run and the film continues to dominate the screens all over. As per the latest reports that is coming in, the flick had crossed 72 crores from 3 days. The film had released in more than 2000 screens worldwide and got more than 41 crore from its first day.

But on second day the domestic market was not contributed much, as on that day there was a nationwide strike happened in India. On its second day it had collected 18 crore+ from is run all over the world. On its third day it had collected more than 13 crore as well and took its worldwide total figure to 72 crore.

The film had crossed 1 million mark in US box office within just 3 day time and it is the first ever 1 Million crossing movie in Jr NTR’s career. In Tollywood, It had become the second biggest opener after Baahubali and in Kerala it registered the biggest opening for a dubbed movie by grossing over 1 crore on its first day.

The team expecting a super strong Sunday for the film in box office and it is expected to cross the 100 crore mark within 5-6 days, from its worldwide run. The film is made on a budget of 40 crores and it had already attained blockbuster status in Andhra/Telengana area.

In overseas market too it is going towards one of the biggest hits in Tollywood history.

Bharathan, who had directed Azhagiya Tamil Magan with Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay earlier, had directed this movie as well.

Popular Mollywood actress Keerthy Suresh is playing the female lead in it and a bunch of artists from Mollywood is acting in this movie. Kohinoor fame actress Aparna Vinod, actor Vijaya Raghavan etc also acting in this Vijay starrer along with Keerthy Suresh from Mollywood. Close to 80% of the shoot has been over and they are planning to finish the filming by November this year. The first teaser of the movie may release on this coming Deewali.

We had already reported to you all that master director Abrid Shine is coming up with his next movie after the blockbuster success of Action Hero Biju, which released in this year February. His upcoming film will be a campus based movie and through it Kalidas Jayaram, the son of popular actor Jayaram, is making his debut here in Malayalam Cinema as a hero.

He had already made his debut here as a child artist years back and won national award for his performance as well. Kalidas Jayaram himself announced about his debut as hero here through Abrid Shine movie. Now, the team behind the movie announced its title too. The movie is titled as Poomaram and it will start rolling from the second week of September this year.

The biggest of them all came from Baahubali director SS Rajamouli. He said in his Facebook post that he watched the movie twice and really enjoyed it.

He had praised both Mohanlal and Jr NTR as well for their terrific performance in the movie. For Rajamouli, watching Janatha Garage is more or less like a fan moment as well. Because his two favorite actors are in action in the movie. Jr NTR is his favorite actor in Tollywood and Mohanlal is the favorite actor of Rajamouli when it comes to Mollywood. This Koratala Siva directorial movie has got great response from all over and now creating box office records. In Kerala, the film had earned above 1.07 crore from its first day due to the star power of Mohanlal and it is a record here in Kerala for a dubbed movie.

When it comes to the worldwide figures of the movie, Janatha Garage had grossed more than 41 crores from screens all around from its first day run. The film had become the highest opener in Tollywood in 2016 and when it comes to all-time records, only Baahubali is in front of the movie in terms of the first day opening figure. This is Jr NTR’s biggest opener till date.

From Andhra, Telengana and Karnataka together, the movie had got around 32 crores. From Andhra Pradesh/Telengana market alone it had grossed a figure of 26.65 crores on first day and got a share of 20 crores+. From Karnataka, it had got 5.90 crores on its first day. In terms of the share got by the film from Andhra and Telengana region, it is second only to Baahubali.

It had broken the records by Sardar Gabbar Singh and Brahmotsavam this year. From Kerala, Tamil Nadu and rest of India regions it had got a gross around 2 cr+ on its first day. From overseas market it had got more than 7.5 crore as well.
