Dulquer Salmaan in the debut directorial venture of Salaam Bukhari

Young Mollywood Star Dulquer Salmaan is currently busy with the shoot of Sathyan Anthikkad movie at Thrissur, which will be his Christmas release. Premam fame Anupama Parameshwaran is the female lead in this movie which is scripted by Dr Iqbal Kuttippuram. Mukesh also playing an important character in this movie which is bankrolling by Sethu Mannarkkad.

After completing this movie, Dulquer Salmaan will join the overseas schedule of his untitled Amal Neerad movie. Now, a report coming in that Dulquer Salmaan has been roped in to play the male lead in the debut directorial venture of actor Salaam Bukhari.

Salaam Bukhari was the chief associate director of Anwar Rasheed and he had come in front of the camera through the movie named Sapthamasree Thaskaraha directed by Anil Radhakrishnan Menon in 2014. He said to media that the official announcement related to his debut directorial venture will be done by the end of this month. Dulquer Salmaan will be the hero of this fun filled mass entertainer and it will start rolling by early next year.

Anto Joseph Film Company will produce this movie and the DOP of this flick will be Jomon T John. Gopi Sundar will tune the music for this film. Dulquer now had 3 consecutive success in the form of Charlie, Kali and Kammattipadam and looking forward to Sathyan Anthikkad movie which will be his next release.

Puli Murugan producer Tomichan Mulakupadam got cheated by a Lawyer

Tomichan Mulakupadam is a popular NRI businessman and film producer here in Kerala and a news coming in that he has been cheated by a lawyer after receiving crores from him by promising to build a Palace for him. Aluva Police had arrested this lawyer last day on the charge of swindling above 10 crore rupees from many people including Tomichan Mulakupadam.

The name of the arrested lawyer is Sarvanathan and he is a native of Koratty. He had practiced as a lawyer in various courts in Ernakulam district. Tomichan Mulakupadam is the primary victim of this man as per the reports coming in from police.

He had promised to build 21000 square feet Rajastan Model Palace for Tomichan Mulakupadam at Chengamanadu. He also said to Tomichan that the Palace will be built using laborers and marbles that will be brought exclusively from Rajastan, to make it perfect. He had collected rupees 3.5 crore from Tomichan Mulakupadam but never started the construction of the Palace. He neither built the Palace and nor returned the money. The accused had cheated a Thrissur based politician as well related to a real estate deal.

Along with the lawyer, the brother-In-Law and Sister-in-Law of him also included in this cheating game. He was produced before the magistrate by the police and they also will release a look out notice to catch other two accused ones.

If the reports coming in are to be believed, then Nivin Pauly-Aju Varghese- Dhyan Sreenivasan team is uniting for a movie. But these three will have different responsibilities this time. Nivin Pauly to play the lead in the movie which will be the directorial debut of Dhyan Sreenivasan and it will be bankrolled by Aju Varghese. It will be his maiden venture as a producer as well. They are in the planning stage of this movie and will officially announce it once everything is fixed.

Dhyan Sreenivasan had already said in a media interview that he had plans to direct a movie very soon. He said that he likes to act and direct movies in his career just like his brother Vineeth Sreenivasan does. Aju Varghese is now one of the most sought after actor here in Mollywood and he is known for his onscreen association with Nivin Pauly.

His friendship with Nivin Pauly, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Dhyan Sreenivasan etc now paving the way for his debut as a producer also. Dhyan Sreenivasan-Aju Varghese combo is also become popular on screen through movies like Kunjiramayanam and Adi Kapyare Koottamani. Now they are coming up with a movie named Ore Mukham as well in this month.

Nivin Pauly will have projects in Malayalam from Sidharth Siva, Althaf, Roshen Andrews etc and this Dhyan Sreenivasan movie will only be confirmed in 2017.

We had already reported that master director Ranjith will have projects with both Mammootty and Mohanlal in the coming future and he will do the Mammootty movie next. Now, a rumor is doing its round in film field that Ranjith had finished the screenplay of the movie and titled it as Vamban.

As per rumors, this one will be a mass entertainer from Ranjith and they are planning to start it in the coming October after Mammootty finishes the project named The Great Father directed by debutant Haneef Adeni. Calicut will be the location of Mammootty-Ranjith movie and Mammootty will be sporting a different getup for this flick.

Kadal Kadannoru Mathukutty was Ranjith’s previous association with Mammootty and it was a box office disaster. Later he had done movies like Njan with Dulquar Salman, Loham with Mohanlal, Leela with Biju Menon etc. Only Loham was a box office success among these three movies. But it not got thumps up from critics and only created mixed opinion among the audience. So Ranjith is looking for a great come back through this movie Vamban.

If it is a mass film, then it will be a return of Ranjith to his old times when he had scripted mass films like Devasuram, Aaram Thamburan, Narasimham, Valyettan, Ravanaprabhu etc. In 2014, Ranjith had produced a movie with Mammootty named Munnariyippu, which was directed by Venu. It had got great critical appreciation but it also not made any impact at box office.

The Crown Plaza Hotel at Kochi will be the venue of this event that will occur on the 4th of September. The logo of India Fashion Summit has been launched by popular cine artists Unni Mukundan, Vinay Fort and Beena Kannan, the popular designer and MD of seematti, together at Kochi.

The leading designers and industry experts will discuss about the challenges facing by the Fashion Industry in India and they will also discuss about the topic related to the growth of Fashion Industry in India. A strange act from Kerala Police had made popular director Roopesh Peethambaran to remain in police custody for few hours, He had posted about that in his Facebook page after getting out. He said that last day while he was driving his car, police stopped him for checking whether he is driving the car after consuming alcohol or not.

When they said him to blow to the alcohol meter, he did exactly what they said. But, the meter beeped and he was taken into custody for blood test to find out the alcohol content in his blood. But he says that in fact it was not alcohol. He was chewing an Orbit Chewing gum and the outdated police Alcohol Meter even beeped for that.

Roopesh Peethambaran said that later they apologized to him for the inconvenience caused after checking his blood test result. If we ask for an explanation from police, they will blame the outdated alcohol Meter provided to them by the government bodies for such incidents. Roopesh Peethambaran asks that What‘s next ? Will it be banning Orbit Chewing Gums and VicksTablets..?

Roopesh Peethambaran had really put in a sarcastic manner. Because the incident shows the inefficiency of our system and the plight of a common man who had to suffer for every inefficiencies from our ruling parties.

Kerala Box Office : Janatha Garage First Day Collection

Janatha Garage, the much awaited Tollywood movie has been released all over last day and getting highly positive reviews from all around the globe. The Complete Actor Mohanlal and Young Tiger Jr NTR played the lead in this Koratala Siva movie produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film had released around 2500 screens globally and in Kerala, the Malayalam dubbed version of the movie has been got 120 screens and it was a record for a dubbed movie here.

The Mohanlal factor clearly played a huge part as Jr NTR not have any fan base here. The first day collection report of the movie also came today from trade guides in the industry. As per reports, the film had earned 1.07 crore from its first day run here in Kerala.

It is a record for a dubbed movie here in Kerala and once again it is Mohanlal who made it possible. The previous best was around 50 lakhs earned by Allu Arjun movie named Yodhavu which released this year. It is for the first time that a movie had grossed 1 crore plus on the first day here when it comes to dubbed movies.

Mohanlal’s previous release Vismayam also got a first week gross around 2.6 crore from here. It was also a movie from Tollywood. Once again this man shows that whatever may be the language, he is the biggest crowd puller here in Mollywood.
