Star value of Shahrukh Khan going down and uncertainty mounting over the release of Raees
Shahrukh Khan is called as the King Khan of Bollywood and definitely he is one of the most popular star in India cinema. But for last few years, he is having failures one after the other and the star power he had once is really in question now. His last few films like Fan, Dilwale etc bombed at box office and some of his hit movies also not made to the top of box office records.
On the other hand, stars like Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are creating all-time box office records one after the other as well. Bollywood Super Star Akshay Kumar is now clearly at the number three position in Bollywood after Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, with back to back super successes like Air Lift, Houseful and Rustom. Now, a report is coming in that, due to this decreasing star value of his, there is uncertainty mounting over the release of Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming movie named Raees.
Shahrukh Khan now seems to be not at all confident to release his movie along with any other big movies in Bollywood. He had postponed Raees from July to January in order to avoid a clash with Salman Khan’s Sultan. He is not confident to release it in this Deewali and Christmas season as well because, at that time Bollywood will witness the release of two big movies from Ajay Devgun and Aamir Khan, titled as Shivaay and Dangal respectively.
But now January also not seems to be a safe time for Raees as Hrithik Roshen starrer Kabil will also hit the screens in January 2017. This had put the makers of Raees in dilemma and they are now searching for an apt time to release the movie.
Shahrukh Khan to play villain in Dhoom 4 and Ranvir Singh replaces Abhishek Bachchan in it
A big news is coming in that King Khan of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan is all set to play the villain in Dhoom 4 and Bollywood Young Star Ranvir Singh had replaced Abhishek Bachchan in the 4th edition of the Dhoom series. Dhoom is one of the most popular movie series in Bollywood and till now three films had released in this series. Aditya Chopra produced the Dhoom series and Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra played the leads in all three versions. But unlike other action movies, the Villains takes center stage in Dhoom series.
Dhoom 1 had John Abraham as Villain in it and it was directed by Sanjay Gadhvi. It released in the year 2004. Dhoom 2 released in 2006 and the villain character is played by Hrithik Roshen. It was also directed by Sanjay Gadhvi. Dhoom 3 had come to the screen in 2013 and it had Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan played the villain it and he played dual role in it.
Vijay Krishna Acharya had directed the 3rd edition of the Dhoom series. Vijay Krishna Acharya was the writer all three films in this series and story for all three films was written by producer Aditya Chopra.
There are rumors that Abhishek Bachchan was ruled out from the project because of the controversial statement he had made earlier. He said that Dhoom is his film and he is the hero in it.
Siddharth and Tamanna to make Mollywood debut through Dileep Movie Kammarasambhavam
Popular actor Dileep’s new movie named Kammarasambhavam had started rolling two days back and it is directing by a debutant named Ratheesh Ambatt. Popular actor/writer Murali Gopi had written the screenplay of this big budget movie which is bankrolling by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of his Gokulam Movies. Murali Gopi playing an important character in this flick as well in which Dileep is reportedly playing the character of a 90 year old man.
Apart from these two, two other big names also will join the team in its next schedule. It will be popular South Indian actor Siddharth and actress Tamanna, who is all set to make their debut here in Mollywood through this movie. The film is said to be based on politics and communist principles of Kerala and it will be a complete entertainer as well which gives predominance to comedy.
Tamannah’s latest release in Kollywood was Dharmadurai with Vijay Sethupathy and her character is getting great appreciation. She will be seen in Baahubali 2 as well and her character in Bahubali was well appreciated last year. Tamanna’s next release will be Devi(L) directed by AL Vijay and Prabhudeva playing the male lead in it. Sidharth is busy with films like House Next Door, Shaitan Ka Bachcha etc as well and will join the Malayalam movie in its next schedule.
Earlier there were reports that this Dileep movie is titled as Kumara Sambhavam. But later they made it clear that it is Kammarasambhavam and still many media reports incorrectly calling it as Kumarasambhavam.

After Munnariyippu, director Venu to come up with Prithviraj and Fahad Fazil movies
Venu is one of the popular cinematographer turned directors in Mollywood and he had directed two critically acclaimed films till now in his career. His first movie was Daya which released long years back. Manju Warrier, Krishna, Lal etc played major characters in that movie which was a never seen before kind of movie in Malayalam Cinema.
Then he came up with a movie named Munnariyippu, which had Mega Star Mammootty in the lead. It was released in 2014 and produced by directed Ranjith under his newly formed production banner named Gold Coin Motion Pictures. Popular screen writer Unni R had written the screenplay of that movie. Munnariyipppu was a critically acclaimed movie.
Now, this film maker is all set to make things right with two upcoming movies of his. One will be with Fahad Fazil and another will be with Prithviraj-Manju Warrier team. Fahad Fazil movie will start first as per reports and it is titled as Aayiram Kani. The film will be bankrolled by Sibi Thottupuram and Manu Kunjachan under the banner named Poetry Film House. Venu will write the screenplay of this movie as well. It may start rolling from next year January after Fahad Fazil completes his previously committed projects.
Prithviraj-Manju Warrier project was titled as Gabriyelum Malakhamarum and it will start after the Fahd Fazil project. Venu is now busy with the Bollywood Movie produced by Anurag Kashyap. Venu is the DOP of that Imran Khan starrer movie named Rorav.
Miss Asia 2016 : Trixia Maria Marana from Philippines won the crown
This year’s Miss Asia contest had occurred last night and the contestant from Philippines, named Trixia Maria Marana had won the crown this year. She is a 23 year old girl and surpassed 17 other contestants from different countries to win the title this year.
Trixia Maria Marana who had hailed from Dumaguete had contested with contestants from countries like Uzbekistan, Tibet, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Iran, Moldova, Malaysia, Russia, Kazakhstan, India, Bhutan, Belarus, Singapore Bangladesh, Nepal and Azerbaijan. Trixia Maria Marana had received cash prizes and gifts from the sponsors of this event as well, other than the crown she had won.
The first runner up of this event in Miss Belarus and the second runner up was Miss India. When we look at the profile of Trixia Maria Marana in the website of Miss Asia contest, it says that she is a graduate from the prestigious college named Asian College of Science and Technology-Dumaguete. She is a graduate in the subject of Business Administration major in Management. Currently she is working as an Auto loan assistant as well. Earlier she was crowned as Miss Negro Oriental in 2015.
Miss Asia contest had entered in its second year and it is a beauty pageant from the house of Pegasus in India which has started with the aim to find out the most talented and beautiful girl from the Asia-Europe region. Kanika Kapur from India was the winner of first Miss Asia contest which held last year.

Jayasurya starrer horror comedy named Pretham released on the 12th of August is going towards the biggest hit in the career of this actor. This movie has been written and directed by Ranjith Sankar had amassed great response right from the first day first show itself and now cruising in the box office with tremendous collection.
As per the latest reports that coming in from the trade guides in our industry, the film had earned a figure around 5.30 crore from its 7 days run here in Kerala. The rest of India collection from 7 days is around 65 lakhs as well. Thus the movie had raked in an amount around 6 crore from its first week run all over India.
This movie has been bankrolled by Jayasurya and Ranjith Sankar jointly under their production banner named Dreams N Beyond. Fox Star Studios had distributed the film all over India. Jayasurya is playing a mentalist in this movie and artists like Aju Varghese, Sharafudeen, Govind Padmasoorya, Pearle Maaney, Sunil Sugatha, Devan, Hareesh Perady, Dharmajan etc also playing important characters in this movie.
The film revolves around a beach resort and 3 friends who own and stays at that resort. Some super natural experiences occurred at that resort and Jayasurya’s character named John Don Bosco comes there and he eventually got involved in the process of solving the issue.
Olympic Silver to PV Sindhu : Appreciation from Mohanlal and thanks from Mammootty
PV Sindhu had made the 120 crore Indians proud today by winning the silver medal in Badminton at the Rio Olympics Games that is going on at Brazil now. She had lost to an opponent from Spain today in the finals, but created a historic moment for India by winning the silvermedal for the first time in Olympic badminton games. Last time, Saina Nehwal had won bronze medal for the same.
Appreciations and words of praise are pouring in for her from all around the world for creating history. Our Mollywood too appreciating her and all popular actors, film Makers and technicians congratulating her through their social media pages. Super Star Mohanlal had appreciated her for this wonderful achievement and Mega Star Mammootty had said thanks to her for making us proud.
Mohanlal posted in official Facebook page that another daughter of our country had made us proud in this Olympics by winning the second Medal this year. He said that PV Sindhu had presented us a golden moment with her Silver Medal. He congratulated her for making the whole country proud. Earlier Sakshi Malik had made us proud by winning a bronze in women wrestling as well.
Mammootty said thanks to PV Sindhu by posting a unique photo which represents the game and the player. Mammootty said that PV Sindhu had took Indian women to a new Olympic height.

There is no suspense in Oozham, says Jeethu Joseph
Oozham is one of the most awaited movie of this year starring Super Star Prithviraj Sukumaran. It became much awaited mainly for one reason. The movie was scripted and directed by none other than Jeethu Joseph, whose Mohanlal movie Drishyam is still remains a wonder for the film lovers in Indian cinema.
Oozham will be the Onam release of the Prithviraj and the trailer of the movie had already got great attention from the viewers. Jeethu Joseph says that Oozham is not a suspense thriller. There will not be any suspense element in this movie and it will be a revenge drama. The suspense of the movie will be revealed to the audience in the first 10 minutes of the flick itself. But what makes it interesting is how they carry forward the revenge plot.
He said that it is a movie which has an actin mood in it. But at the same time it will not have heavy action sequences as well. He said that Oozham is the biggest budget movie he had done so far in his career. It is made using a budget above 10 crore rupees and used graphics to good effect.
Neeraj Madhav, Balachandra Menon, Divya Pillai, Pashupathy etc also playing important characters in this movie and Prithviraj’s character name in this movie will be Surya Krishnamoorthy. The story is set in Coimbatore and Chennai.
Sivakarthikeyan–Samantha pair to play the lead in upcoming Ponram movie
Ponram and Sivakarthikeyan is now one of the most successful director-actor pair in Kollywood. Their first association was for a film named Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and the success of that movie had really gave a boost in the career of Sivakarthikeyan in the initial stages of his entry to Kollywood. Later they joined together for a movie named Rajini Murugan which released this year. It also become a super box office success and the success of Rajini Murugan had made Sivakarthikeyan, one of the most bankable young star in Kollywood box office.
Now, this pair is joining for their 3rd movie and popular South Indian Actress Samantha will play the female lead in this upcoming movie. His second production venture will be Sivakarthikeyan- Fahad Fazil-Mohan Raja project, which will start rolling soon. Then comes his 3rd venture under this banner and it will be a Nivin Pauly-Prabhu Radhakrishnan movie and the screenplay of this movie will be written by RD Raja himself.
Sri Divya and Keerthy Suresh had played the female leads in Ponram- Sivakarthikeyam team’s earlier movies like Varuthappedatha Valibar Sangham and Rajni Murugan respectively. Now, the inclusion of Samantha had made the 3rd project from this team a big one indeed.
