Asianet to telecast super hit Malayalam movies in this Onam season

Asianet, the most popular Malayalam entertainment channel in Kerala is all set to make this Onam season very big. They will be telecasting some of the super successful movies from Mollywood this time in their channel. Dulquer Salmaan-Sai Pallavi starrer movie Kali, directed by Sameer Thahir is going to be the first of the lot from Asianet.

Then comes one of the all-time biggest blockbusters in Mollywood, named Ennu Ninte Moideen starred by Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy. The flick has been directed by RS Vimal. Adi Kapyare kootamani from the young brigade of Dhyan Sreenivasan, Neeraj Madhav, Namitha Pramod and Aju Varghese is the next one to be telecasted in Asianet. It was directed by debutant John Varghese.

Nivin Pauly starrer Action Hero Biju directed by Abrid Shine will be another attraction from Asianet in this Onam season. Then we will get to see Dileep-Shafi blockbuster named Two Countries as well in this channel. Mamta Mohandas played the female lead in this movie.

Mega Star Mammootty’s super hit movie Pathemari directed by Salim Ahammad will be another one to be telecasted in Asianet in this Onam season. Rajeev Ravi directorial Dulquer Salmaan movie named Kammatipaadam is also a main attraction of this season from Asianet.

There were some reports came in some media that Mohanlal’s bilingual movie Vismayam will also be there in Asianet in this Onam season. But the channel had not updated it till now and as of now, Vismayam is not Telecasting in Asianet in this Onam season.

Our sources from Kollywood reports that a sequel of the blockbuster Vijay movie Kaththi directed by AR Murugadoss is in its planning stage and the team will officially make an announcement after finishing up their current projects.

Reports also said that Kaththi 2 will be revolving around the character named Kathireshan, which is one of the characters played by Vijay in the first part. He had played dual role in Kaththi. But, the sequel will not have the character named Jeevanantham played by Vijay in Kaththi.

Kaththi is regarded as one of the best films in Vijay’s career and in terms of his performance as well Kaththi stands out from the rest. AR Murugadoss had written the film and it was produced jointly by Ayngaran International and Lyca Productions. Samantha played the female lead in it.

Now, the film is remaking to Telugu with the title Khaidi No 150 and Mega Star Chiranjeevi is making a comeback to his acting career through this remake. The Tamil version of Kaththi had grossed above 120 crores from box office. AR Murugadoss is currently busy with his upcoming Mahesh Babu starrer and Vijay is doing the film directed by Bharathan.

The parents of AL Vijay accused that Amala never listened to them and gave more importance to her career than the family life of her with AL Vijay. AL Vijay also said that she had broken the trust he had on her and the dishonesty of Amala Paul had broken this marriage.

There is also another reason for it, as no one from Kollywood wants to displease Alagappan, who is the father of AL Vijay. Alagappan is a very influential person in Kollywood. He is a popular producer and actor there in Kollywood who had great relationships with directors and producers in Tamil film industry.

Amala Paul is now acting in a Tamil film named Vaada Chennai with Dhanush, directing by Vetrimaran. But we have to wait and see to know whether she will get any other offers from Tamil in the future or not.

But what Adoor Gopalakrishnan did in his 75th year is nothing but crap.

The first look poster of Mega Star Mammootty’s upcoming movie The Great Father has been released and got good response from all over. A Debutant named Haneef Adeni will direct this movie, which will be a stylish family thriller. August Cinemas owned by Prithviraj Sukumaran, Arya, Santhosh Sivan and Shaji Nadeshan is producing this movie and it will start rolling from August last week.

Mammootty is now finishing up his Tamil movie named Peranbu directing by Ram and after finishing it, he will join this project and it will be his Christmas release as well. Earlier there were reports that Prithvirraj will play an extended cameo in this movie. But now an unconfirmed report coming in that popular Kollywood actor Arya, who is one of the owners of August Cinema, replaced Prithvirj in this movie.
