Prithviraj is one of the most sought after star here in Mollywood and he has a lot of projects in his kitty. Almost every month, he announces his new projects which is coming and yesterday also he had officially announced one of his upcoming projects. Prithviraj had posted in his official Facebook page about his upcoming project named Tiyaan, which will have his brother Indrajith Sukumaran as well playing the lead role with him. Murali Gopi has scripted this movie which will be directed by Jiyen Krishna Kumar.

Prithviraj had said that he is excited about this film and he said he could not have asked for a better character from Murali Gopi, who is one of the greatest writers of his generation. He said that he can’t wait to get his hands on this one. Prithviraj had released the first look poster of this upcoming film as well along with the official announcement he had made through his Facebook page.

The film will be produced by Haneef Muhammad under the banner of Red Rose creations. Satheesh Kuruppu will be the DOP of this movie and Gopi Sundar will tune the music for this flick.

Prithviraj is now finishing up the works for his upcoming crime thriller named Oozham directed by Jeethu Joseph, which will hit the screens on this coming September. He had two back to back failures now as Darwinte Parinamam and James and Alice failed to create an impact at box office this year. So, the coming films will be crucial for Prithviraj as a star.

Rajeev Ravi directorial latest film Kamattipaadam, starred by young superstar Dulquer Salmaan has got great reviews from critics and celebrities all over India. Common audience also given thumps up for the film as the film had got mixed opinions from here. Kammattipaadam theatrical version has a length of almost 3 hours and Rajeev Ravi says that the DVD version of the film will have 4 hours length.

He said that when they completed the editing of the movie, it had almost 4 hours long. But later they cut down the length to below 3 hours for theater. Rajeev Ravi asks that who made this unwritten rule about the length of a cinema..? Kammattipaadam is a film which can only be narrated with all its details and it will be lengthy, says the director.

He said that they will release the full 4 hour version of the film through its DVD. The DVD version will have more characters, sub plots, and situations that were removed from the theatrical version of the movie. When one watch the film sitting at his own home, length will not be a problem.

Vinayakan and Manikandan are the show stealers in this movie as they are getting splendid response from all over, for their amazing performance as Gangan and Balan. Dulquer Salmaan also did a good job as Krishnan and gave a matured performance. P Balachandran had wrote the screenplay of this film and he had played the father character of Dulquar in this movie as well.

The reports related to Anu Emmanuel’s replacement from Dulquer Salmaan-Amal Neerad movie is the talk of the town now. Anu Emmanuel was replaced by a new comer named Karthika Muraleedharan. At first the reason for Anu Emmanuel’s replacement was unknown to the public.

People began to say many things related to it. Some said that her performance was below par and that is why she has been replaced. Some said she was not cooperating with the crew and not getting ready to go for retakes. But Amal Neerad, the director had now come out explaining why Anu Emmanuel was replaced.

Amal Neerad said that Anu Emmanuel had already given her dates to a Telugu film. So there was some date clashes with this film. He said that they only shot limited portions with her and it was not a difficult task to reshoot that portions with new actress. Amal Neerad had slammed all other rumors regarding her removal from the film.

Anu Emmanuel also came out through her Facebook page explaining the situation. She also told the same reason for opting out from the movie. She is currently doing a Telugu film named Oxygen with Gopi Chand.

The first look poster of Mammootty starrer Kasaba had released a few days back and received great number of trolls from social media pages. The body posture of Mammootty in that poster was used to make some hilarious trolls and the trolls had went viral as well. Earlier Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan teaser had got trolls from the fans of Mammootty some days back. As a reaction to it, fans of Mohanlal had made some heavy trolls based on Kasaba first look poster and it had become a talking point in social media to say the least.

Mammootty himself appreciated some of those trolls by posting it in his official Facebook page. Now, the director Nithin Renji Panicker, who is making his debut as a film maker in Mollywood says that the trolls had actually helped Kasaba.

He said that it was the trolls that made the first look poster of the film to reach to more and more people. It is because of the trolls that the first look poster went viral in Facebook and other social media platforms. That had helped the film a lot to get the attention from people. Nithin also said that Mammootty had shared the trolls on his Facebook page as he liked those trolls. Nithin told to media that he did not spoke with Mammootty regarding the posting of trolls on his Facebook page.

The team behind the film also indicated that the flick will have a lot of suspense in it and it will be a treat to the fans of Mammootty and also to the film lovers in Kerala.

He had chosen to give food to the 350 cancer patients who are admitted in the Thrissur Medical College.

Nivin Pauly had sent his son Daweed to school as usual and spend the day with cancer patients. He had served food for them and spend some time with them as well. Nivin Pauly’s new film directed by Sidharth Siva is filming there at Thrissur and he had found time to do this on the birthday of his son.

Allu Arjun is popularly known in Kerala as Mallu Arjun, because of the popularity he enjoys here. He has great number of followers here in Kerala specially at the start of his career and his films got very good reception here at that time as well. At the beginning he had super successes here with films like Arya, Happy, Hero(Desamuduru), Arya 2. But later it went down due to some flops and his big film like Badrinath was indeed a disaster here. That had really pulled down his stardom in Kerala.

He said that if the subject is an interesting one, he would not mind to reduce his remuneration to act in Malayalam cinema.

Hazel Keech, the British model who appeared in Indian films and television programs had hit the headlines earlier related to her love relationship with popular Indian cricket player Yuvraj Singh. Then both were got engaged last year and all set to tie the knot this year. On May 21 this year, she had shared a video on her timeline as a token of love for Yuvraj singh. But that shared video brought another person in to lime light in Kerala. It is none other than Santhosh Pandit, who is famous or may be infamous here for his low budget movies (He calls it movies..!).

Santhosh Pandit calls himself a super star and when it comes to his films he does everything by himself. He writes and directs the film. He acts in it as hero and he composes the music too. He sings those songs penned down by him and does technical work like editing as well in his films. One of his songs starting with the line “music is the name of love..” had shared by Hazel Keech.

Santhosh Pandit had sung that song in a television program and that video was shared by Hazel Keech as a dedication to Yuvraj Singh. Anyway, with this, Santhosh Pandit had again came to the lime light and reason for discussion in social media. Troll pages are celebrating this with hilarious trolls as well.

Case filed against Kollywood actor Suriya was withdrawn

Two days back a report came in social media that popular Kollywood actor Suriya had assaulted an innocent boy. The video report that came in YouTube said that Suriya had slapped a boy who was in the middle of an argument related to an accident issue which involved that boy’s bike and a car driven by a lady.

As per that video report, Suriya who came by that way at that moment stopped there and assaulted that boy without enquiring about the real status of that issue and went away without replying to those who asked him why he slapped that boy who is innocent in that accident issue. The boy had later filed a complaint against suriya in the nearby police station. But now the report coming in says that the case filed against Suriya by that by named Prem Kumar has been withdrawn.

Prem Kumar had filed a case against Suriya in the Shastri Nagar Police Station. The lady who involved in this case tweeted that Suriya was actually saving her from the abuse and threatening of that boys. Suriya only told them to not abuse a lady and it is not right. She thanked Suriya for saving her by his timely intervention. Suriya had reportedly sent his personal assistant to accompany the lady till she reaches her home safe as well.

Later when the lady told her version of the story to the police, the boy had realized his mistake and withdrawn the case filed against Suriya. Even though Suriya had faced great criticism from people when the report came first, now people appreciating him for what he had done after hearing the truth behind the incident.
