It is the second collaboration of Sameer Thahir & Dulquer Salmaan after Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi. Kali also has Sunny Wayne, Chemban Vinod Jose, Vinayakan and Soubin Shahir in significant roles and the movie is mainly shot in Kochi, Vagamon,Athirappilly,Masinagudi and Gudalur.

Jayaram film to be released by Mammootty !

Popular and evergreen star of Mollywood, Jayaram is all set for a grand return to the winning ways through the big budget horror film named Aadupuliyattam. The flick has been directed by Kannan Thamarakkulam, who had made his debut last year with a film named Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare starred by Jayaram and Rimi Tomi. Even though that film was a box office failure, Jayaram put his faith once again on this director and he too reportedly tried his best to justify that trust shown upon him by Jayaram. The film is produced by Haseeb Haneef and Noushad Alathur under the banner of Grande Productions. But there is another interesting fact related to the movie is that Super Star Mammootty to distribute this Jayaram movie in theaters of Kerala.

The production and distribution company owned by Mammootty along with Anto Joseph, named Play House release is distributing Aadupuliyattam here in Kerala. As per reports Aadupuliyattam is looking for a grand release and it may the biggest release in Jayaram’s career as well. The film is scripted by Dinesh Palleth based on a myth that ages 600 years old and the film also moves through comedy track apart from horror sequences, which will be its highlight.

Popular Bollywood and South Indian artists like Om Puri, Ramya Krishnan, Sambath etc playing key roles in this film. Jithu Damodar is the DOP of this film and the music was composed by Ratheesh Vega. The look Jayaram sporting in this film is already got the attention of the audience as he look dashing in bold beard and with long moustache. The presence of OM Puri and powerful South Indian actress Remya Krishnan also made the film one of the much anticipated one this season. As per reports the film will grace the screen in the near future as the vacation release.

Jayaram’s career is going through a lean patch and the success of the film is very important for him to balance his career and also it’s the one that expected to bring him back on the track of success.

Sunny Wayne, the young actor who had made his debut in Mollywood with none other than Dulqer Salmaan, through the film named Second Show. The character named Kurudi in that film had made him one of the most favorite young actor in Mollywood, specially, among the young generation. Then he had acted in some good films like Mosayile Kuthira Meenukal, Annayum Rasoolum, Neelakasham Pacha Kadal Chuvanna Bhoomi etc and even the cameo by him in the film Thattathin Marayathu had become a great success as well. But later, some bad selection of films had made him to taste the bitterness of failure as well. Now, he is all set to make a comeback and that too a grand one this year.

He had already acted in two films this year and another had begun its filming as well. His first release of this year will be a film named Kali which had Dulquer Salmaan in the lead. He and Dulquer Salmaan share a great chemistry on and off the screen and they are uniting again after Neelakasham Pacha Kadal Chuvanna Bhoomi. Sameer Thahir who directed that film is behind Kali as well. Then Sunny Wayne will have a release named Kammattipadam, which will also have Dulquar Salman in the lead. The film is directed by Rajeev Ravi who had earlier given Sunny Wayne, a good role through his first film named Annayum Rasoolum which had Fahad Fazil in the lead.

But the big film of his career will be the one which had started rolling in Thrissur few days back. Yes, it is the untitled Midhun Manuel Thomas directorial film, who had directed Aadu Oru Bheekara Jeeviayanu last year. That film had got great support in social media and Sunny Wayne had played a key role in the film and his character named Sathan Xavier had got great followers.

As per reports from the industry, Midhun Manuel Thomas had given a superb character for Sunny Wayne in his new film and Sunny will hopefully make a great comeback as a hero this year. The interesting thing about all his upcoming films is that, all these three films are coming from directors who had given him the best roles in his career. So the anticipation level is damn high as well.

On this coming Vishu season, a Mollywood film is all set to grace the screens and it is titled as Valliyum Thetti Pulliyum Thetti. The film is directed by debutant director Rishi Siva Kumar. But the real highlight of the film is the star pair in it. The male lead of the film is Kunchacko Boban and the female lead of the film is Shamili, the sister of actress Shalini. Shamili is quite popular here as she had acted in many popular Malayalam movies as child artists and even won national recognition for her performance in the Tamil film Anjali as child artist.

Now, she is making her Mollywood debut as a heroine through this movie Valliyum Thetti Pulliyum Thetti. The most interesting thing in this debut is that Kunchacko Boban is her pair in this film. When her sister made her debut as heroine in Malayalam, through the film Aniyathi Pravu in 1997, Kunchacko Boban was her hero too in that film. It is a strange coincidence that both sisters had made their heroine debut with the same star and the gap between both films is 19 years. It shows the importance and longevity Kunchacko Boban have in this industry.

Shamili had acted in films like Malootty by Bharathan which had Jayaram in the lead, Pookkalam Varavayi by Kamal which also had Jayaram and her last appearance as child artist in Mollywood was indeed a big film. It was Harikrishnans by Fazil which had both Mohanlal and Mammootty in the lead. This will be her first film with Kunchacko Boban. When Kunchacko Boban was romancing her sister on screen, shamili was a kid. Now, when she is got ready to romance a hero on screen, Kunchacko Boban is there with the same youthful energy and looks.

The film also has artists like Renji Panicker, Manjo K Jayan, Saiju Kuruppu, Krishna Sankar, Aneesh G Menon, Midhun Nair, Suresh Krishna, Nandan Unni etc. The story of the film had set in 1990’s ’ and as per reports it revolves around a cinema theater as well.

One factor among those is the presence of popular Bollywood Actor Om Puri, who is considered as one of the finest actors in India.

Om Puri is playing a key role in this movie and he is making a comeback to Malayalam cinema after 28 years. He had acted in a Malayalam film for the first time in the year 1988. Malayalam movie director Saji Paravoor had passed away today morning at KIMS hospital Trivandrum. He was 48 years old. Yesterday there was rumors spread that he had died at 4 pm through some local medias. But at that time he was alive and battling for his life. He was admitted to KIMS hospital after being suffered with stroke.

He was working as the associate director of Popular Film Maker Roshen Andrews, who is making a film named School Bus which was scripted by Bobby- Sanjay Duo and starring by Kunchacko Boban. Real name of Saji Paravoor was Sanjeev N R and he was popularly known in our industry by the name Saji Paravoor.

Janakan, a film which had Suresh Gopi in the lead was his first film. Super Star Mohanlal also played an extended cameo in it and the film had got good critical reception as well. Saji was one of the most sought after associate director in Mollywood who had great experience in this field. He had worked as an assistant and associate director for many years and worked with master film makers like Lenin Rajendran.

Now, the loss of him made Malayalam cinema a grave yard this year, as he is the 13th member from Malayalam cinema family who had passed away this year. 2016, is terrible indeed and it is continuing. We express our heartfelt condolence to the family and friends of Saji Paravoor on his demise.
