Tovino Thomas become the father of a baby girl today

Tovino Thomas, one of the most promising and rising young stars in Mollywood had become a Father of a baby girl today. Tovino Thomas had updated his Facebook status saying that this was the greatest day of his life till now as he had become the proud father of a cute little baby girl today. He said that Mother and baby both are doing good and in great health condition. He also said that from now he is going spend some more time with his wife Lidiya and his newly born baby girl.

Tovino got the attention of Malayali audience through the film ABCD directed by Martin Prakatt which had Dulquer Salmaan in the lead. He played a negative character in that film. He also acted in films like Prabhuvinte Makkal and August club before that. Then he played some good roles in films like Seventh Day, Onam Loka Mahayudham etc but the character that gave him so much appreciation was the one he played in You Too Brutus directed by Roopesh Peethambaran in which he played a really funny character.

Then came the career changing character of his career, which was the character Perumparambil Appu in the film Ennu Ninte Moideen starred by Prithviraj and Parvathy in the lead. The film has got a classic status in Mollywood and was a gigantic success as well. His character of Appu had got tremendous followers and he had really become the favorite of many through that character.

His recently released film is Style directed by Binu S which had Unni Mukundan in the lead. He played the Villain character named Edgar in that film and got great response for his performance as the Psycho Edgar. He is now looking forward to the release of Monsoon Mangoes which has Fahad Fazil in the lead and directed by Abi Varghese.
The film will release on this coming Friday and the trailer of the flick has been received very well. The fans of Tovino Thomas is looking forward to this film eagerly and just before the release they got this happy news also from their star.

Music for this film is created by Rahul Raj and Lijo Paul is the editor of this flick. DOP of the film is Kugan S Palani. The film which is completed its shoot now in its post- production stage and it will be distributed by Carnival pictures. Friday Film house is now continuing with their reputation of supporting and introducing young film makers and this flick will be another example for that.

Now everybody is waiting for the grand entry of Gokul Suresh, the son of action super star Suresh Gopi. The film is touted as a romantic comedy and the title is well known for Malayali audience as they can never forget that word from the Priya Darshan Film Thenmavin Kombathu starred by Mohanlal and Shobhana. That word meant “Kiss”, and it was a hilarious sequence in that film as well.

Dulquer Salmaan to star in Sathyan Anthikkad’s next film

A big news coming in which says that Young Star Dulquer Salmaan is all set to join hands with senior directors in the industry and as a first step of that he will do film with Sathyan Anthikkad this year. As per reports it has been almost confirmed that Dulquer Salmaan will be the hero of Sathyan Anthikkad’s next venture. Mukesh also will play a key role in this film along with Dulquer Salmaan and it will be Mukesh’s third only venture with Sathyan Anthikkad. They done a film together in 2007 titled Vinoda Yathra and it was a super successful film with Dileep and Meera Jasmine played the lead. Then they had done a film named Innathe Chintha Vishayam which was also a success and a state award winning film as well which has Mohanlal and Meera Jasmine in the lead.

The screenplay of this Sathyan Anthikkad-Dulquer Salmaan film will be written by Dr.Iqbal Kuttippuram who earlier written the script of Sathyan Anthikkad directorial film Oru Indian Pranaya Kadha with Fahad Fazil and Amala Paul in the lead. This film will be financed by Sethu Mannarkkad and distributed by Kalasangham release. The film is been not titled yet and the discussion about other cast and crew members is going on. Still it’s pretty sure that the common faces in all Sathyan Anthikkad films like Innocent, KPSC Lalitha will be there in the film.

Sathyan Anthikkad’s last film was Ennum Eppozhum released in 2015. Even though it had got aveage reviews, it was a hit in box office and it had Mohanlal and Manju Warrier in the lead roles as well. Anyway this news is really pointing towards a new trend in Mollywood. Many young stars are teaming up with veteran and senior directors this year like Prithviraj with Blessy, Nivin Pauly with Lal jose etc.

Just like that many senior actors is keen to work with newcomers as Mohanlal is doing films with Jibu Jacob, G Prajith etc and Mammootty is doing films with debutants this year too which he often does in his career.

Dileep starrer Two Countries directed by Shafi and written by Rafi is still continuing with its dream run in box office. We had already reported the news that it had become the fastest 10 crore earning film in Mollywood. And now, as per the latest official collection report, the film had entered the 20 crore club of Mollywood and that too within 16 days of its theatrical run. Now it is one of the fastest 20 crore earning films as well and others are Premam and Amar Akbar Anthony which released last year.

If things go like this way it will find a place in the list of one of the top 5 all-Time blockbusters in Mollywood lead by Drishyam and followed by Premam, Ennu Ninte Moideen, Bangalore days, Amar Akbar Anthony and Twenty20 now. The 20 crore earned by this film is from Kerala only and the rest of Indian collection is not available now. But the film is getting wonderful response from all over and not a single negative review had come about this film till now. Two Countries was unanimously chosen by the viewers as the Christmas Winner of last year.

CID Moosa 2 is on cards, says Dileep !

CID Moosa, one of the most loved and most followed comedy entertainer in Malayalam Cinema history is all set to have a sequel in the near future. The film CID Moosa was released in the year 2003, which was the golden period of Dileep when he was giving super hits after super hits. The flick was directed by Johny Antony and it was financed by Dileep himself under his banner of Grand Productions. It was Johny Antony’s maiden venture as well. The film was a blockbuster success at that time. Even now when it telecasts on the mini screen, there a lot of people who watches it even though they had seen it many times. The fun it gives is just amazing and it’s an absolute laugh riot given by Dileep and team.

The screenplay of the film was written by the popular script writing duo Udaya Krishna-Sibi K Thomas. The film was ended such a style that people will really expect a sequel to that. Dileep says that when the sequel of such a huge popular film is been made, there have to be great preparations. The expectation level must be damn too high. So they have to be careful.

Dileep said to media while attending the celebration of Two Countries success that there will definitely a sequel to CID Moosa and it will hit the screens without any great delay. They will prepare well and will try to give a great fun film like the first part of the film which is evergreen in the heart of the Malayali audience. Many people had demanded for a sequel of this film for years and there was even reports that Johny Antony is planning it with Dileep. Later the news died out as a rumor.

Now, Dileep himself confirmed that the project is on and CID Moosa will come again with a new mission which will give a lot of fun and laugh. The Anticipation level is too high even now and it will go high and high with each updates about the film which will come in future.

On last friday Mollywood is blessed with a film named Malgudi Days. For many of them the thing that attracted them to the movie was the presence of Anoop Menon and secondly the title that brought nostalgic memory in them. But after watching the movie, there is no doubt that 3 names will make a space in their heart and it’s the names of the first director trio in Indian Cinema, Vivek, Vishak and Vinod. Malgudi Days which touted as an emotional thriller, is also a socially relevant movie as well. Dulquer Salmaan does not know to read Malayalam language !

Dulquer Salmaan, who is one of the most liked young stars of Mollywood is noted for his style, charming looks and as well as his acting talent. But there are some other reasons also which makes him the favorite of the mass, which is his sound and his dialogue delivery. He got that gift from his father Mammootty, who is a master in Malayalam slangs usage through modulating his voice. But an interesting fact is coming about Dulquer Salmaan and it is that he does not know to read Malayalam language.

This was said by actress Anu Mol in an interview given to Kaumudi Channel. Anu Mol had acted with Dulquer Salmaan in Renjith directorial film named Njan which was critically appreciated. She while saying about the experience of acting alongside Dulquer Salmaan, said that Dulquer Salmaan don’t know how to read Malayalam language and he writes down the Malayalam dialogues in English and then studies it.

She said that even though he did not know Malayalam very well, he never creates problem with dialogues while they are filming. Because he studies well the dialogues that given to him in manglish. Anu Mol also said that Dulquer Salmaan is a very simple and down to earth person and always creates a positive energy in the shooting set. He is always very active and urges others also to be active and energetic.

Anu Mol is one of the best actress now we have in Malayalam and she had got great appreciation through many class characters she did in various films. Her recent release was Rock Star directed by VK Prakash and starred by Sidharth Menon and Eva Pavithran.

Mohanlal magic stunned Telugu director as well !

We all know the caliber of actor Mohanlal, who is one of the greatest legends in Indian film industry and he is making all of us wonder with his impeccable acting skills for almost 37 years here. The film is making as a bilingual project which will have both Telugu and Malayalam version. Mohanlal is learning Telugu language for the film and apart from that his improvisations while acting was just amazed Chandrashekahr Yeleti. Mohanlal also giving his creative thoughts to the director regarding the screenplay and narration of the film and the subtle differences he brings to the character while playing it in front of the camera for the different versions of the film has just stunned the director. He is in all praise for the actor. Chandrashekhar Yeleti is amazed and thinks how wonderfully this actor makes great improvisations in his dialogue delivery, mannerisms and expressions while doing the different versions and yet remains so natural as the character.

Collector Bro Prasanth and wife to write script for the next Anil Radhakrishna Menon movie

Calicut District Collector, who popularly known as Collector bro among people, specially, in social media is all set to write his first screenplay for a film which will be directed by popular Mollywood director Anil Radhakrishna Menon. His wife Lakshmi too with him as a co-writer of the screenplay. Prasanth Nair is very popular among youngsters with his innovative and great administrative methods and can be called the most popular collector in Kerala. Prasanth is a great fan of movies always wants to do something creative and here comes the opportunity for him. Earlier there was a project which he all set to write script. It was a Mohanlal starrer and IV Sasi was set to direct it. But that political thriller got shelved due to some unknown reasons.

Now, this project with Anil Radhakrishna Menon is on and they had started the script work as well. It will be a film that tells the story in the flavor of humor and will be a character oriented story. They had not specifically planned a date to complete the script and start shooting. Because they want to take their own time and make it the best one. Prasanth’s wife Lakshmi first came in to this with her creative inputs and later they decided to write it together.

Anil Radhakrishnan Menon had directed films like 24 North Katham with Fahad Fazil in the lead, Sapthamasree Thaskaraha with Prithviraj and Asif Ali in the lead and his previous film was Lord Livingstone 7000 Kandi. All of these had got good critical appreciation and the first two films were box office successes as well. 24 North Katham has got recognition in national film awards as well.

The shoot of this film will be in Kozhikode but they not yet decided about the cast and crew about the film. Prasanth’s innovate ideas like Savari Giri Giri to decrease traffic problems, Operation Sulaimani to wipe out hunger in Kozhikode City, Compassionate Kozhikode etc has been very popular and got great appreciation. Now everyone is waiting for the magic he can create in silver screen with his talent.
