Unni Mukundan, a young actor who brought a western style to Mollywood

0

Unni Mukundan is one of the popular young actors of Mollywood who is growing with each and every film he does. He began his career with a quality film and that too a Mammootty starrer named Bombay March 12 directed by Babu Janardhanan. Through the first film itself he got good critical appreciation. Later he done some characters which showcased his talent as an actor.

But we have to say that the turning point in his career was Mallu Singh directed by Vysakh. He played a mass hero named Hari Singh in that film and it really showed us the skill of this actor as a mass hero. Later he took a break and when he came back Unni Mukundan was transformed just like a Bollywood or Hollywood young star. With the six pack body he turned the youngsters of Kerala, his followers as well.

Before him there is only Prithviraj had experimented with a six pack body and styles like that in Mollywood. But Prithvi Raj not gave much attention to maintain that body and stylish attitude as he wants something else. But Unni Mukundan maintained the style, body etc with his hard work and commitment and kept the tag of Muscle man of Mollywood cinema. In Lal Jose directorial film Vikramadithyan, we saw Unni sizzles with a perfectly made body and outshine Dulquer Salmaan in that aspect of the characters. As a police officer he looks perfect in that role.

Later the body also helped him to transform into a 20 year old youngster as well in KL10 Pathu and now in his upcoming film Style directed by S Binu , Unni Mukundan is a car mechanic but stylish as a Hollywood actor with his looks and body shape. He creates mass with his perfect body and in his stylish looks he can stand up head to head with anyone in Bollywood or in Hollywood as well. We had seen many handsome hunks in Bollywood but now we have one and its Unni Mukundan, the actor who bought the western touch to Mollywood with his style and appearance.

Dilwale scenes taken from Hollywood movies, TV show and TV commercial

Dilwale scenes taken from Hollywood movies, TV show and TV commercial

“Sharaabi Entertainment is usually inspired by talented, unique and extraordinary aspects of filmmaking. But this time, an unapologetic lack of creativity urged us to create this video. After watching three painful hours of recently released Bollywood movie, Dilwale, starring SRK, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, our inner critique has rightfully awoken. We were shocked by Director, Rohit Shetty’s courage to copy (almost frame by frame) from popular Hollywood movies, American television series and not to spare, even a television commercial! We don’t mind borrowing ideas to a certain extent, but lifting entire scenes and creating a mishmash of previously seen wonders, is plain unethical and disrespectful to moviegoers.

Of course, we don’t expect the makers of Dilwale to understand concepts of integrity or empathize with the emotions of the audience. So what do the Dilwale filmakers really care about? Minting money from poor Indian masses, who have not had the chance to watch these Hollywood flicks? Taking advantage of die-hard SRK and Kajol fans, who are tired of watching DDLJ for the umpteenth time? Or perhaps, simply boredom and easy availability of funds to create yet another Bollywood disappointment? Take your pick.

Mr. Shetty: If you had so much time to sift through Hollywood material, why couldn’t you spend that same time in creating something original? Ah yes, for that you need to have imagination and intelligence, both of which you seem to lack.” – Sharaabi Entertainment Youtube Channel

Charlie collected around 6.8 crore in its 4 days theater run

Dulquer Salmaan starrer flick named Charlie, directed by Martin Prakatt and written by Unni R has been going great guns in box office even after getting mixed reviews all over. The big collection is expected as the film had come with lot of hype and anticipation. Apart from that it had got a 4 day holiday weekend as well which boosted its collection.

The real test of the film will begin from today as the holidays are over and the working days had begun from today. Now it will be hard to get that much collection among all these mixed opinions it had got. But it had earned the maximum it can in the first weekend. As per reports it had earned a total figure around 6.8 crore from it’s for day run here in Kerala.

On its first day it had collected 2.18 crore and surpassed Mohanlal’s Loham collection record by a small 4 lakhs margin. Loham had collected above 2.14 crore from its first day. On its second day Charlie had collected rupees 1.6 crore and on the 3rd and 4th day, it had earned rupees 1.5 crore and 1.55 crore respectively.

That weekend record was also held by Loham which collected around 6.5 crore from its 4 day weekend run. But Charlie had collected almost 30 lakhs more thanks to the Christmas vacation time and increased ticket charges.
