Megastar Mammootty is always fond of doing multiple roles in his films and he had done many double role movies as well as one triple role film. Renjith directorial ‘Paleri Manikkyam Oru Pathira Kolapathakathinte Kadha’ is the film in which he had done triple role before. Renjith had said in a recent interview that in fact only one character in that film was written for Mammootty at first. But after reading the script Mammootty insisted on playing all the 3 main characters in movie and later they decided to go by his decision to play that 3 character. He got state recognition as well for the performance in that film and specially for one character named Murikkum Kunnathu Ahammad Haji. Now as per the latest reports from M-Town, Mammootty is all set to do triple role again in a movie next year.
The film will be written by popular screen writer Benny P Nayarambalam and will be directed by a newcomer named Saji Mon who had worked with famous directors like VK Prakash. The film is titled as One Two Three and Benny P Nayarambalam says that the title is so not only because Mammootty is playing three characters but also due to some suspense in the film as well.
Benny P Nayarambalam had written films like Thommanum Makkalum, Annan Thambi, Pothen Vava, Chattambi nadu, Diavathinte Swantham Cleetus etc and all of the were different characters. Out of these films Thommanum Makkalum, Annan Thambi and Chattambi Nadu were great successes as well. So when he is coming again with Mammootty, the expectations are there for sure. The three characters Mammootty will play in this upcoming film will have different getups and also different behavior pattern.
Benny P Nayarambalam’s next film will be with director Sundar Das and it will have Dileep and Vedhika playing the lead roles, The film is titled as Welcome to Central Jail and it will start filming in next month. Mammootty film will be staring in 2016 May after the release of Dileep film. Both these films will be financed by Vysakh Rajan who is a popular producer in Mollywood.
