Beena Kannan Bridal Show 2015 Stills

Beena Kannan’s much awaited Bridal Show has happened here yesterday at Le Meridian in Kochi. Especially the fashion buffs were eagerly waiting for this fabulous event to come. The highlight factor of the show were the two famous celebrities Shilpa Shetty from Bollywood and our very own Nikki Galrani, who were invited by Beena Kannan as the chief guests and that indeed made the event a splendid one. Also did Beena Kannan come up with a fashion contest for the students from different institutes for fashion technology. It was great to watch as well as brilliantly organized. Participants came from all across the country and even international student took part in the competition.

The program was designed to give a great platform to expose the talents of upcoming designers. The subject or theme of the designs was Vintage Fashion which also included a spring/summer collection for 2016. The three final winners were chosen by the jury and a panel of experts. They did also perform their fashion program with the designs they made for the Bridal Show itself. The three winners of the evening were fantastic with their presentations of their own collection. The first prize went to Peal Academy from Delhi. The other two prizes went to our own Kerala teams and that too from Kochi itself. The second spot went to St. Teresa’s Kochi and the third spot went to JD institute Kochi.

As we said above, each and every institute, which made it to the top was just superb with their program at the Bridal Show and the pictures are worth a watch, especially if you are a fashion lover. Vijay 59 first look and title will release on October 12

The waiting of Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay fans will be over tomorrow as they are waiting for the first look and title of Vijay’s upcoming film which is tentatively called as Vijay 59. As per the latest reports the title and first look poster of the film will be out on October 12. Vijay fans are having great anticipation about the film as they have about all films of his. But this one has a special place in their heart because Vijay is coming in a full- fledged Police character in this flick. Even though he had done police characters in some films, they were not full- fledged characters.

This flick has been directing by director Atlee and who shot to fame with his super success film Raja Rani is generated a lot of hope among Vijay fans that he will deliver another success this time with the biggest star in Kollywood after Rajinikanth. This is the 59th film of Vijay’s career and that is why it is tentatively titled as Vijay 59. At first there has been reports that this flick will be named as Moondru Mukham. But later news came that it will not be the title and a new title has been chosen which will be announced tomorrow with the first look poster of the film.

The shooting of this film is progressing in fast pace near Chennai and Madhurai and reports says that they are planning it as a January 14 release in 2016. Reports says that Vijay is coming as a City Police Commissioner in the flick. Samantha and Amy Jackson is playing the lead female roles in the film. There is also rumors that Vijay is playing a father role in this film.

Vijay fans and film lovers had great hope in this as the much hyped recent film of Vijay named Puli is not raised up to the mark and feeling the heat at box office and also from the hands of critics. Vijay who is recently came under the scanner of income tax officials also need to divert the attention of all from that to his films.

Ennu Ninte Moideen crossed the 20 crore mark in style

The first solo hero film of Prithviraj had crossed the superb 20 crore mark in Kerala Box office and that happened to be Ennu Ninte Moideen. From the first day itself this flick had begun its race at box office and there many films came its way. Bot on one could really stop its run at box office and it is still going strong while the ones came to block its way almost bowed down in the theater run as well as box office stats. Ennu Ninte Moideen as per the latest collection report got rupees 21.77 crore rupees in 22 days.

The drop in collection is there but it is not too much as well. Holidays still showing houseful shows all over and working days also giving it a steady return with second show gets houseful stats at many places. The flick had not lost many screens as well even though many releases came after its release. From some centers it gained the screens back and at some places it is added to extra screens due to the rush.

The main challenge for the film lies ahead as a flurry of releases coming from next week and within the gap of almost 12 days there will be 4 malayalam releases and 2 Tamil releases. In those one will be another Prithviraj starrer which also has Indrajith and Jayasurya. Along with that another big threat will be Mohanlal starrer film Kanal which will hit the screens on 22.

Ennu Ninte Moideen now eyes to cross the 23 crore mark first which is the collection of Classmates which is highest collected movie of Prithviraj till now even though it is a multi-starrer flick. Then it will look to hunt down the records of films like Pazhassi Raja and twenty twenty. Twenty20 had made rupees 32 crores. Then Moideen will have Bangalore days (48 crs), Premam (60 crores) and Drishyam (75 crores) in front of it. Drishyam and Premam record will be safe as there is not much chance that Ennu Ninte Moideen is going that far. But Bangalore days record can be a target to Moidden in total revenue.

Spreading fake news in the name of celebrities is now-a-days like a common thing but it is creating more serious impact than we expecting it to be. We saw many such instances to insult or giving boost to a certain section of society or community or even promoting political agendas as well. The fact is that the name of celebrities dragged in to this may not even know much about on the issue in which his name is dragged in. We saw it in the case of Mohanlal quite a lot of time that his name is dragged on to an issue to which he had not even any slightest connection with.

The latest on this victim list of celebrities in such a case was none other than another super star of Mollywood, Mammootty. There is a fake news spreading in social media that Mammootty had hit out against RSS.
The fake news says that Mammootty said that if the communal agenda of RSS have to be implemented in Kerala then they have to kill each and every communist in the state or in other words as long as a single communist is alive in this state, the RSS agenda cannot be implemented here in our state.

But the fact is that Mammootty never said such a statement in any interview or anywhere. He did not even know about what is they even saying in his name. Everybody knows that Mammootty is a follower of communist party but in this case he did not support any political parties or not released a statement like that at all. It is a framed statement in order to make the RSS followers to go against Mammootty. Someone had some selfish motives behind that and may be some wants to reap the fruit while Mammootty is being attacked by RSS and popular attention goes in that direction.

The same has happened with Mohanlal as well earlier when the fake remuneration issue in Lalisam allegation spread against his name the popular attention from Bar bribery case has been diverted to Lalisam issue and it is said as a political move by making Mohanlal a victim. The same planning may be find her in the case of Mammootty as well.

ALIIFF is all set to start from the coming November 15 as you all know and as a part of that even they are conducting a contest of photography as well. The competition window has opened and whoever wants to participate can send their submission based on the theme of cinema and Life before 10th November. The winner of the contest awaits great prizes. He/she gets 10000 Rs cash prize along with once in a Life Time chance to meet the super star Mohanlal personally and spend some time with him. The winners of the contest will be declared at Le Median Hotel Kochi, On 15th November. It is the day on which the All Lights India International Film Festival Starts at Kochi.

Enthiran 2 will come in 3D format !

There has been a lots of news going around the coming of Enthiran 2 by none other than the man who made the epic first part, Shankar. It is almost confirmed that the project is on and it will be Shankar’s next as well. The reports are coming from trustable sources in Kollywood that it will begin with a pooja ceremony on December 12 this year, which is the birthday of Super star Rajinikanth. The latest on this upcoming sequel of the film says that it will be shoot in 3D format and will have something very big visually than its first part.

As per news unlike other Indian films which is made in 2D and then convert it to 3D format, this film will fully shot in 3D version using all the latest 3D shooting equipment. Nirav Shah will be the DOP of the film and he is in USA right now to prepare for the making of 3D version of the film with all the latest technologies available. The music of this film will be composed by music maestro AR Rahman and Muthu Raj who had done the art direction of Shankar’s last film ‘Ai’ will be the art director of this one as well. Shankar is all set to make it in Hollywood standard and will be the biggest film in his career as well as in Tamil film industry. Rajinikanth’s film Kochadiyan also made in 3D but it did not make much impact as it was only an animation film.

Rajinikanth is now busy with the shooting of his upcoming film named Kabali in which he plays a gangster. The flick has been directing by Pa Renjith who shot to fame with the success of the film Madras with Karthi in the lead. The motion posters and first look posters of the film is already a huge hit in social medias.

There has been also news that Rajiniknth will do a bio pic based on Tippu Sultan’s life as well but only after Enthiran 2 as per reports. The search for playing the villain to Rajinikanth is still going on. At first thy said it will be Aamir Khan, then Kamal Haasan, then it came to Hrithik Roshen and now rumors says that Arnold Schwarsnegar may come in as the villain.
