Rani Padmini coming up with helping hands to cancer patients

Rani and Padmini, the characters played by Manju Warrier and Rima Kallingal in the upcoming film named Rani Padmini which is directed by hit maker Aashiq Abu is all set to lend their hands to the cancer patients in a helping cause. Manju Warrier and Rima Kallingal is coming for the program organized by Canserve in association with St. Teresa’s college Ernakulam. The campaign is titled as ‘locks for hope’ and it is aiming at hair donation for the cancer patients who lost their hair due to the chemo therapy they undergoes as a part of their cancer treatment. The donated hair by people will be used to make wigs for the cancer patients.

The campaign will be promoted by Rani and Padmini aka Manju Warrier and Rima Kallingal on 14th November 2015 at St. Teresa’s college Ernakulam. The function will be held at 11 am on Wednesday. The organizers appeal everybody to come and attend the function and make it a big success and a great event. More participation means more donation and more help for the cancer patients.

Earlier this year actress Sai Pallavi had come to Kochi for promoting the activities of Canserve association with popular cricket player Sreesanth. Canserve is doing great in this field of charity and their services in this field will become more and more effective with each and every one of our participation in the campaigns they are initiating.

Ennu Ninte Moideen helmed RS Vimal and starred by Prithviraj and Parvathy Menon was moving to one the biggest success of Malayalam cinema history. The flick had already crossed 20 crore mark in box office within four weeks of its running. It has been also in the news for getting selection at IFFK and later withdrawing from the festival. Now the film again in limelight due to a comment by its director RS VImal when he said that if this film Ennu Ninte Moideen, which was his debut film as a director, had become a failure, then there is all the chances that he may have committed suicide.

RS Vimal said that he always wanted to make a romantic film which will remain in the heart of the viewers forever and a film with romantic characters who cannot be forget by anyone who watches the film. That search really made him to reach to the life story of Moideen and Kanchanamala. RS VImal was working in Jai Hind channel as program producer and he resigned his job for JO making this film. He had spent 6 years behind this film.

When he resigned his job he had to go through hard times and had to bear a lot of criticism as well. But at that time his heart said to him that one day whoever is criticizing him will come to him with appreciation. He said that he had to suffer insult from family and friends as well. His wife has a job and that is why he not had to stay hungry during this period.

RS Vimal said that it was the meeting with BP Rasheed, the brother of Moideen that had turned his life as the story of Moideen and Kanchanamala narrated by him was really made him spellbound. Vimal said that no other real life story of a better sacrifice for love had heard by him till that moment. From there all works behind the project had started.Vimal said that there has been a lot of troubles came while shooting and at that time he made a decision in mind that he will commit suicide if the film is not received well by the audience. Now all is well for Vimal and the flick will be soon remade in Tamil and Karthi will play the lead role.

We have been hearing a number of reports about Shankar’s next venture which will be the sequel of his Mega blockbuster hit Enthiran which had Super star Rajinikanth and super heroine Aishwarya Rai in lead roles. Now he is planning to make its sequel which will go above its first part and all set to make it India’s biggest film as well. The latest on the film says that gorgeous Amy Jackson who played the heroine role of shankar’s previous film Ai will be the pair of Rajinikanth in Enthiran 2.

There has been a lot of reports came about the film and most of them was regarding who will play the Villain role opposite Rajinikanth is the sequel. Many names has been talked about and the first one was the Mr. Perfectionist of Indian Cinema, Aamir Khan. Next we heard that Amair is out of the project and Kamal Haasan is going to play the villain of the super star and it had made a big news then as the universal hero is going to play villain to super star Rajini. But that news too won’t stand for long.

The only confirmed ones in this film is hero Rajinikanth, musician AR Rahman, Cinematographer Nirav Shah, Art director Muthu Raj and the VFX department will be headed by Srinivas Mohan. Dr Biju posted a status on his Facebook page and he said that a news heard that someone had withdrawn their film from international film festival of Kerala. And it is recognition which has to be appreciated. There has been lot of films here which deserves to be selected to show in the prestigious International film festival of Kerala and the withdrawal of this film will help any other deserved one to get an entry to the festival. Dr Biju at last part of his status really took a dig at Ennu Ninte Moideen by saying that even though the ones who selected the withdrawn film to the festival did not bother to think that they are selecting a film to the international film festival, the team behind the selected one has the sense to withdraw from it and it has to get appreciated.

The words of Dr. Biju really taking a dig at the selection of Ennu Ninte Moideen and he indirectly said that the film does not have the standard to show in an international film festival. Now this words of him is going to create a controversy very soon we think as it already creating one. Dr Biju always take hard stands and last year his dig at Mohanlal about a scene in Peruchazhi had created a lot of issue and in that he had to face a lot of criticism as well. In state award decisions as well he had made some severe criticisms against the jury.

One of the recent issue that really created waves in social media in Kerala was the insulting of Mohanlal and his Late father by a Television anchor and cine artist named Sabumon Abdusamad and the reaction of the public and fans of Mohanlal against his words. Sabumon Abdusamad who shot to fame through some fun based shows in mini screen was recently doing a popular fun program named Take It Easy in Mazhavil Manorama Channel.

Today in his Facebook page he posted a status indicating that he is going out of that program and he says bye bye Take It Easy and also thanked everyone for the support they given all these years for his programs. But reports are coming that Mazhavil Manorama take him out of the program due to the decrease popularity of this man or in other words he has a negative publicity after he had made that insulting comment against Mohanlal and his Late father.

The actual incident was that when he posted a status about the killing of street dogs supporting it, some animal lover in support of dogs posted a photo in the comment box and the photo is that of Mohanlal sitting in house with his pet dog which he actually posted in his Facebook page a few months back. But Sabumon’s reaction to that photo comment was rude as he reacted to that in bad words without any respect to Mohanlal an even indirectly mentioned Mohanlal’s father in it as well. That really made the things worse and Mohanlal fans who is unarguably the biggest fans force here started an online attack on him.

That resulted in the deactivation of his Facebook account at first. Later a director who is going to do a film under his production publicly said that he will not his film under such a person’s production house who insulted the most loved actor of Kerala, Mohanlal. Later he come up with an apology for hid bad words which comes out of anger but that too was not well received by public as they were as angry with him for insulting Mohanlal. Today morning every one heard the happy news that Ennu Ninte Moideen and Pathemari has been selected in to the Malayalam film section of International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK 2015) which will occur at Trivandrum as every year. It has been a great honor for a film to participate in the most prestigious film festival that happens in India and the value given to the awards given in this film festival is too high. Trivandrum and Panaji are the places where two of the biggest film festivals in India takes place every year. But right after the good news of the selection of Ennu Ninte Moideen and Pathemari, the news came in that Ennu Ninte Moideen has been withdrawn from its participation in the International film festival and it is said by director Vimal himself to an interview given to Manorama Online.

RS Vimal said that he is not at all interested in showing the film in the category of Malayalam cinema today. At first they said that they want the film in order to show in the competition section. At that time itself the director told them that they interested only in showing the film in the competition section of the film festival and if it is not the case then they will not give their film to show in the film festival in any other section.

But the Chalachithra Academy took decision of their own to show it in the section of Malayalam cinema today and that is not at all acceptable to the team behind the film. RS Vimal also said that it is ridiculous that the directors who gives their films to show in the IFFK only get to know about the different sections in the film festival through newspapers and it is not at all right from the part of Chalachithra Academy.

RS Vimal said that he still don’t know why they did not chose the film in the competitive section. He believes that Ennu Ninte Moideen has all the quality to be take part in the competition in IFFK. Vimal also alleged that he get to know about the decision of the academy to include the film only in the Malayalam film section through newspapers and not personally informed to him.

Ennu Ninte Moideen and Pathemari, two best films released in Mollywood this year is running here getting great appreciation from the common people as well as from the critics. Ennu Ninte Moideen along with critical appreciation also getting dream success at box office as well and it had collected more than 20 crore rupees from box office already. But the great news for both the films is that both Ennu Ninte Moideen and Pathemari got selected to show in the International Film Festival of Kerala 2015, which occurs at Trivandrum every year.

IFFK was one of the most popular and biggest film festival in India and the worldwide participation level it gets is mazing as well. To be selected in such a prestigious film festival is itself an honor and both these film deserves it and at last gets it. Pathemari was directed by Salim Ahammad which is his 3rd film. He had already won a national award with his debut film years ago. This film Pathemari is telling the life story of NRI’s and Mammootty’s great acting as the central character is the plus point of this film.

IFFK has started in the year 1996 and there is a special section for Malayalam films in this and to that section to which these two films got selected. Last year the best Malayalam film award was given to the film Oralpokkam by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan.
