No tickets for Ennu Ninte Moideen, crowd gets violent in Perumbavoor

0

Ennu Ninte Moideen is continue to show his power in box office with amazing collection and awesome word of mouth. It had already raked in more than 6 crore rupees from its 6 days run at screens in Kerala and still doing unbelievable business in all centers. There are many extra shows are being played to control the crowd and at many places police also need by the theater authorities to control the crowd which comes in large numbers. Where ever the crowd there is also the chance that something unusual and violent will happen.

The same thing had happened at Perumnbavoor. In Perumbavoor Ennu Ninte Moideen running in the EVM theater and there the crowd turned violent today when they found out that they had no tickets for watching the film after being stood in the Queue for hours to watch the movie. The EVM theater in Perumbavoor had four studios and Ennu Ninte Moideen is running in Studio 1 which is the largest of them all. It had more than 600 seats in it. The theater has reservation facility as well for the family audience and for others they provide reservation at a particular time at a particular counter as well.

But what happened really that after all the Bakrid celebration today the families from the muslim populated area flowed to the theater. The reservation was went full and usually there is only high class ticket was provided in the reservation counter. But as it was Sunday and due to the heavy rush of families they provided even low class ticket as well through reservation and people who waited in the normal counters to buy ticket got nothing after standing there for hours. When they found out that the theater is full with people who are already reserved the tickets they turned violent and tried to attack the theater properties as well as workers reportedly.

The theater officials can’t even arrange an extra show in other studios because films like Life of Josootty, Kohinoor and Urumbukal urangarilla is also running with good crowd response there.

Ustad Hotel Telugu dubbing version Jathaga is coming

0

Ustad Hotel is the film written by Anjali Menon and Directed by Anwar Rasheed which was one of the evergreen blockbuster in Malayalam cinema. It was a sort of trendsetter as well with its characterization. The film was also noted for its artist performances like that of Late actor Thilakan, Mammootty’s son Dulquer Salmaan who played the male lead and Nithya Menon who played the female lead. As per the news coming in from Tollywood, the Telugu version of Ustad Hotel is coming in the title of Jathaga and it will come in the near future there. The film will be dubbed in Telugu language and will be screened there.

The reason behind the releasing of the dubbing version of the film is something else. It is because of the popularity of Nithya Menon there and also due to the acceptance of Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon pair had got there after the Mani ratnam flick OK Bangaram which is the Telugu version of OK Kanmani.

Nithya Menon had made it big there with her amazing beauty and acting skills and she also played different roles as well to capture the imagination of the spectators. Her role in Allu Arjun’s Son Of Sathya Moorthy was well appreciated there. Her onscreen chemistry with Dulquer Salmaan is well known to Mollywood film lovers and now it is also made the film lovers of Kollywood and Tollywood stood spellbound.

That magic created by them onscreen was forced the producer Suresh Kondeti to go for the dubbed version of Usthad Hotel. It was a film in which their chemistry really began to work out well before the audience. Suresh Kondeti is the financer who had given some good dubbed versions of films like Pizza, Jounrney, Shopping Mall, Premiste etc to the telugu film lovers. All that was tamil films and it is for the first time that he is financing for the dubbed version of a Malayalam film.

The Telugu dialogues for the film will be written by Sahiti and Suresh Kondeti says that the magical romance of this pair of Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon will work wonders on the Telugu screens.

Puli wide releasing will not be allowed says Liberty Basheer

0

In an interesting turn of events, the president of the cine exhibitors federation, Mr. Liberty basheer said to the media that they will not allow the wide release of the upcoming Tamil film named Puli starred by Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay. The film is all set to hit the screens worldwide on October first and in Kerala alone it is set to release on almost 200 screens as per reports. Wide release of films was always a cause of trouble for Malayalam cinema as it has caused disputes between exhibitors and distributors all the time.

But there was an allegation against the exhibitors that they are only discouraging the wide release of Malayalam films and no problems when it comes to the wide release of Tamil and Telugu films. But now it is against a tamil film that they are issued their warning. Wide release is in fact very good for the financial success of films as well as can counter the attack of piracy up to a certain extent. But according to the exhibitors it will divide their profit and they can’t move from here if they don’t even get the money back which is given to the distributor or producer as theater advance.

Now the thing is that there will be a discussion between the exhibitors and distributors the next day. If there is not decision were made in the issue of wide release , Liberty basheer said that they were planning a to react furiously and it will cause more and more problems here in our film industry. Earlier the same problem had happened thrice in 2 months. First one was when the film Bahubali got released. Then it happened when the Onam releases of Mollywood had come. And the third time it happened was one week ago when the films like Ennu Ninte Moideen, Life of Josooty etc were all set for release on September 18.

Anyway these kind of issues will destroy the industry if it goes like this way without a permanent solution and all these association had to answer for that situation to film lovers.

Parvathy Menon – The super heroine of South India

0

Parvathy Menon, earlier she was our RJ Sarah from Bangalore Days and now she is our Kanchanamala. This actress is amazing us with each and every characters she does. Her acting talent not confined only to the boundaries of Malayalam cinema. She is running high in Tamil and Kannada as well and amazes them as well with her super talent. Now in all sense we can call Parvathy the super heroine of South Indian film industry.

Parvathy had made her debut in Malayalam cinema in the film named Out of Syllabus. Later she acted in Roshen Andrews’s Notebook and Sathyan Anthikkad directorial film Vinoda Yathra. But the big film of her career came when she got the chance to play the female lead in a Mohanlal movie directed by Sibi Malayil named Flash. But that film failed to set the money bells ringing at the box office and unfortunately her performance also not received a good appreciation from critics and viewers. It is natural when a newcomer is placed against Mohanlal who is undoubtedly the greatest actor in our country that she would be intimidated.

There is another chance as well that she tried a little bit over also to catch up with the unattainable natural acting that can only deliver by Mohanlal. Then she went to Tamil and Kannada language and done some notable roles there. But the world is just stunned at her improvement as an actress when they saw her in Dhanush Starrer film Maryan. Her character named Pani Malar was such superbly enacted that she had won a lot of hearts as well as critical acclaim. She had won SIIMA award as well for the best actress for that performance in 2013.

Then come the blockbuster film Bangalore Days in Malayalam and it was a perfect comeback of her to Malayalam even though she had done some memorable roles in films like City Of God by Lijo Jose Pellissery. In Kannada too she had made hits and now the latest in Malayalam which will be remembered by the viewers here forever. Her depiction of Kanchanamala was such a marvelous act that now no one can even imagine any other actress in that role.

For Bangalore Days too she had got many awards and it is sure that Kanchanamala will bring her a lot of recognitions as well. Parvathy is now waiting for the release of her upcoming Malayalam film Charlie with Dulquer Salmaan and also waiting for the completion of the Tamil version of Bangalore Days in which she plays the same character which she played in the Mollywood version.

Ennu Ninte Moideen to be remade in Tamil

0

The Malayalam movie Ennu Ninte Moideen which is successfully running at the theatres going to Kollywood with its eternal love story. It’s the debutant director RS Vimal who has decided to do the film in Tamil and he also added that the hero will be Prithviraj. Ennu Ninte Moideen is based on the real life story of two lovers, Moideen and Kanchanamala both reigning from different religions. Their love story in Mukkam is known to the people from there and now the whole of Kerala know their heavenly love story.

It all began when Journalist com writer RS Vimal came to know about the Moideen- Kanchanamala love story which inspired him to make a documentary and now a full fledged film. The movie is very well received by the audience all over that it is sure when it is remade in Tamil, it will be also interesting. The director has also said that the Tamil version will have a reworked one that could help the Tamil audience to accept Moideen- Kanchanamala’s love story.

RS Vimal also says that it all started out in 2006 when he did the documentary on Kanchanamala named Jalam Kondu Murivettaval and he had to put an end to his Journalistic career as he felt the need of making this real life story into the silver screen. He also did not wanted this film to be categorised under an offbeat movie that could only attract some people so he thought of doing it a commercial film. So taking up the role of being a director this passionate and hardworking person wrote the story of Moideen and Kanchanamala to the silver screen expressing what is true love.

Vimal also says that he does not want the Kanchanamala in real life to watch the film as she would not be able to withstand the memories of Moideen. She is presently living her life as the widow of Moideen even though they couldn’t unite in their life, living with the memories of their love relationship. There were also reports that if Prithviraj does the role of Moideen, Kanchanamala has no problem.

Ennu Ninte Moideen is considered as the dream project of the director RS Vimal says Prithviraj as per sources. In the movie, the role of Moideen is played by Prithviraj and Kanchanamala’s role is played by Parvathy. Hope this flick is very well remade in Tamil as the purity of Moideen’s life and love of two souls are very well portrayed by RS Vimal like he did in the Malayalam version. Best wishes RS Vimal for your debut as director in Tamil as Ennu Ninte Moideen in Tamil be a blockbuster and receive recognition just like you did in Malayalam.

Ennu Ninte Moideen overpowering Life of Josootty and Kohinoor

0

Ennu Ninte Moideen which released in Kerala on last Saturday had got phenomenal mouth publicity as well as great critical appreciation from here and after the classic Drishyam this is the film that got this much positive mouth publicity from every single person who saw it. The flick is powering in Box office as well by earning more than 5 crore from just 5 days as well and still going mega strong at every theaters in released as well. Last Friday two more films also released here in our screens and those are Jeethu Joseph directorial Dileep starrer film Life of Josootty and Vinay Govind directorial Asif Ali- Indrajith starrer flick Kohinoor. But Ennu Ninte Moideen had clearly overpowering both these films.

Both Life of Josootty and Kohinoor received positive response as well from common audience and critics. But the fact remains the fact that Ennu ninte Moideen which had already won the box office battle my miles is making these films to the bottom spots in the box office race. This is not the first time that is happening in mollywood. When Drishyam came and become the biggest hit in our industry the same thing happened. Drishyam ran almost close to 200 days and on the way it does not allowed any other films to settle down at box office by amassing the whole collection with its massive report.

We saw the same trend when it comes to Premam which had become the second biggest hit in mollywood. Nirnnayakam is the film that released just after Premam and got good critical as well as audience response. In quality it is better than premam as well. But it died in the box office battle under the waves created by Premam. Now the fear is that Life of Josootty and Kohinoor have to face the similar fate from the hands of Moideen or not. Because when Moideen is going around like a wave other films did not even getting much publicity and even good theaters to release as well.

Malayalam cinema is going through a not so bad period now with audience response. Earlier it was Loham and Kunji Ramayanam got success in box office. Now Ennu Ninte Moideen got it. If reports materialize in to box office collections, then Life of Josootty and Kohinoor also end up in the winning side. Now it’s the time to hope for the best in Malayalam cinema and pray that one film did not kill another one on the way to its huge success.
