Super Star Rajinikanth is now all set to begin his new film named Kabali which is directed by Ranjith who had given a super hit with Karthi in the lead named Madras last year. Rajinikanth had given dates to the young director after reading the script of the film which really impressed him a lot. The character he plays has a lot to perform as an actor even though the film will be conceived as a wholesome entertainer keeping in mind the fans of Rajnikanth. The film tells the story of a Madurai based underworld don who has to shift his focus from Madurai to Malaysia once.

But there comes the report of another film as well in which Rajni will be acting in the coming future and it will be the role of the great Tippu Sultan of Mysore. Few days back a Kannada producer said to the media the life story of Tippu Sultan will be made into a film soon and that Super Star Rajinikanth will play the lead role in it. But with the news came in political parties in Tamilnadu, specially the Bharatiya Janata Party in Tamil Nadu who turned against the super star and told him that it is not a right decision from his part to do the character of Tipu Sultan as the great Tipu Sultan had a negative attitude towards Tamilians when he was alive.

They say that Tipu Sultan is somewhat a murderer of many and to glorify him through a film is not at all right. When it comes to a Tamil film starring Rajinikanth it may reach to more people and that will not be the right to happen as Tipu Sultan never really liked tamilians and did whatever he can against tamilians says the BJP national secretary H. Raja. He also said that they will not allow this film to reach to the silver screen and also told Rajinikanth to withdraw from the commitment to do the film if he had made any with the Kannada producer.

But the interesting thing is that sources close to Rajnikanth says that he is not acting in movies relate to Tippu Sultan and all that was a rumour.

One is it is the second film of the director who had given us the super successful film 1983 last year which won state award as for Nivin Pauly and the director Abrid Shine. The second reason is that it will be Nivin Pauly’s first release after the super successful Premam which is now the second biggest success in Malayalam film industry right behind Mohanlal’s Drishyam.

So this film Action Hero Biju which has action flavor in it will be a key film in the career of Nivin Pauly as his stardom or the so called upcoming super star title is heavily depended on the success of this flick. But the thing which really sought after about the film right from the start of its filming is who will be playing the female lead opposite Nivin Pauly in this flick. At first there was a news came in that Premam fame popular heroine Sai Pallavi will do the heroine character of Nivin Pauly in this flick. But that later identified as a fake news. But now new report about that character is coming in and it says that actress Anu Emmanuel is the one who is playing the female lead in this Abrid Shine- Nivin Pauly flick.

Anu Emmanuel is a well-known artist in mollywood as she is the one who played the daughter character of Jayaram and Samvritha Sunil in the film named Swapna Sanchari directed by Kamal. This news was also not an officially confirmed one but seems that it is a real one. Anu came before as a school in Swapna Sanchari but now is a grown up girl and it is very difficult even to recognize her as well as she had changed a lot from that school girl look. She is the daughter of the film producer Thankachan Emmanuel and after the role in Swapna Sanchari she went abroad for studies.

Action Hero Biju is the first ever production venture of Nivin Pauly along with director Abrid shine and Nivin Plays a police officer role in this action-Comedy entertainer which is said to be releasing on the coming Christmas season.

Dileep’s Sathya Sai Baba will begin this year last

Popular actor Dileep is all set to do the biggest ever film of his career and it can become one of the biggest films in India as millions of people looking forward to see it on big screen. Yes, we all heard about the news of actor Dileep doing the role of spiritual leader Sathya Sai baba and the latest on the film says that Dileep will join the sets of the film by the end of this year. The shoot of the film had already begun and has completed almost 20% of the film.

Even though it is made in Telugu primarily it will speak different Indian languages such as Hindi, Kannada, Tamil as well. It will speak English too as per reports from the team behind the film. This multi-lingual film will be directed by Kodi Rama Krishna. Reportedly Dileep will essay the part of Baba Sathya Sai from his 22 year of life to the death period. There has been also reports that Mollywood actor Sreejith of Rathinirvedam fame is also in the film doing the younger period of Baba Sathya Sai.

A few months back a report came in media that South India’s most popular actress Anushka Shetty is also doing a key role in the film but it is not confirmed yet as the shooting is going on in complete secrecy. Dileep’s portion will be shot at Hyderabad and Puttaparthi which is Sai Baba’s birth place. The film is said to be made on a whopping budget of 100 crore and Dileep is also getting the biggest ever remuneration for a Mollywood actor through this film.

The news about other artists in the film says that popular actress Jayaprada will play the character of the mother of Sathya Sai Baba. The character which said to be played by Anushka is not yet known to anyone and some reports says that she will be playing a devotee of the great spiritual leader.bSathya Sai baba was one of the most followed spiritual leader in India. He had followers from all over the world. His charity activities were world famous and many great people were on his followers list. He died at the age of 84.

Popular actor Dileep is somewhat going through not the best part of his career. It had all started last year after the success of his Vishu film Ringmaster. Now Dileep is changing his track a little bit and as a part of that he is coming with some wholesome entertainers and plans to do sequels of some of his super successes. As per report he is going to finance films like CID Moosa 2 and Valayar Paramasivam which will be the sequels of Runway and CID Moosa respectively. His Grand Production reportedly will finance both these films in the coming future.

Dileep is planning his career with care from now on as he is all set to give importance to both his mass masala entertainers as well as films which have depth in its stories. There has been reports that he is also hearing a lot of stories from young and fresh faces and is all set to support them as well if the story is good for him. Dileep has a flurry of release coming up as on this 18th of September when his film Life of Josootty will hit the screens. It is directed by Jeethu Joseph and the reports from the industry says that it will be one of the career best performance from Dileep as an actor and it may help him to get some prestigious recognitions as well.

Esther Anil who is famous as Baby Esther is going to play the lead role in the upcoming flick Gemini. This upcoming movie will be directed by P K Baburaj and produced by Roopesh Lal under the production company Richies Cinema. The movie will have a cast including Renji Panicker, Sijoy Varghese, Kishore Satya, Liyona, Sethulakshmi, Sunil Sugatha and Rosin playing key roles in the film. Jemini is scripted by Dr. Binu Purushothaman and features music by Shaan Rahman. Manoj Pillai will be handling the cinematography for Gemini.

Esther started her career in 2010 appearing in the movie Nallavan playing the childhood of actress Mythili. After her performance in the movie she was continuously casted in movies like Oru Naal Varum, Sakudumbam Shyamala and Cocktail in the same year. Esther has been popular in South India with the Jeethu Joseph film Drishyam which is one of her best performance so far. She also starred in the same role in the Telugu and Tamil version of Drishyam which marked her debut in Tamil and Telugu. She has acted in more than 15 films in Malayalam and has acted along with stars like Mammootty, Mohanlal, Kamal Haasan, Venkatesh, Jayaram, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Anoop Menon, Murali Gopy portraying the role of their daughter in the movies. Asif Ali-Biju Menon team again coming with a film after their association in the film named Pakida. This film is titled as Anuraga Karikkin Vellam and it will be directed by debutant Rahman Khalid. Rahman Khalid is the brother of popular producer/cinematographer Shyju Khalid. The film will be based on romance at the same time it will be also set to give a good message to the society as well. The film Biju Menon and Asif Ali done together named Pakida was not very well received at box office even though the film concerned with some social issues.

The upcoming film named Anuraga Karikkin Vellam team says that Biju Menon will do the role of the father of Asif Ali. It will be a unique role for Biju Menon in his career. The film will have another popular artist in it in the key role and it will be Asha Sharath. It will be one of the best roles in her career after Drishyam and Varsham. This flick will be financed by August Cinemas of which Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Natesan, Arya etc are the owners. The shoot of the film will start next month as per reports.

Rahman Khalid was the assistant director of Anil Radhakrishna Menon in the super hit film named Sapthamashree Thaskaraha which was released in last year’s Onam season starring Prithviraj and Asif Ali. That film was also financed by August Cinemas. Asif Ali has a new release coming up in the form of Kohinoor on the 24th September of which he is also a co-producer. His another film named Driver on Duty is also waiting for release as per reports and he is currently on the sets of the film named Rajamma@yahoo in which he plays the brother character of Kunchacko Boban.

August Cinemas is also financing another film named Darwinte Parinamam with Prithviraj in the lead as well which is also scheduled to start next month. Their last production venture was a failure which was Double Barrel but it was an experimental film from Lijo Jose Pellissery.

Rajeev Ravi-Dulquer Salmaan new project Kalippu ?

Dulquer Salmaan to be in the next project of Rajeev Ravi. There are rumours that the project is titled as Kalippu but is not yet confirmed. Rajeev Ravi has confirmed that the main location will be Mumbai as the theme of the film is based on a subject related to it. Anyway the director of the movie has confirmed that, for the pre-production works he is going to Mumbai and hopefully the shoot will begin by September 30.

This project is Rajeev Ravi’s third Malayalam project as director as the previous ones were Annayum Rasoolum and Njan Steve Lopez. Rajeev Ravi is mainly a cinematographer and has received many recognitions in that role including a National award. According to sources the movie will be produced by United Global Media. There are also reports about the movie’s story that it will be handling the subject of an underworld in Kochi.

This project will be truly a gem for Dulquer if the so called underworld theme is going to be the plot of the story. Till now Dulquer has never did a character or story relating to the underworld in his career that this will truly showcase how Dulquer will portray it. Let’s wait and watch how Dulquer handles it in his style in this underworld story. Mollywood has seen many underworld stories till now and if the reports are true this movie will try for a new twist.

The other star cast include Vinayakan, Vinay Forr , Shine Tom Chacko playing key roles. As Rajeev Ravi’s previous films Annayum Rasoolum and Njan Steve Lopez were shot in Kerala and the third one is said to be in Mumbai, shows the director’s thought of newness. The director Rajeev Ravi is the National Award winner for Best Cinematography for the film Liar’s Dice in 2014 and has also received recognition for Best Cinematography in Dev D at the Filmfare Awards in 2010.

Dulquer is adding recognitions and accreditations by receiving awards for Best Actor in 2012 and 2014. Being the Youth Icon of 2013 and Performer of the year in 2014 Dulquer is truly the heartthrob of millions. Hope this Director- Actor duo, Rajeev Ravi- Dulquer Salmaan cast magic on screen.

Sathyan Anthikkad always wants a regular team of his when he is working on a film that include actors and technicians. Mohanlal is his all-time favorite hero and then comes Jayaram. These two had done almost 80% of the films directed by Sathyan Anthikkad. Now Fahad has got a chance to work with him again and that means Sathyan Anthikkad has a trust on him as an actor as Sathyan believes more in performance than any stardom of an actor.
