As a part of fighting against it a charity organisation by cancer survivors and volunteers named canserve organised a Walkathon as a begining of fight against cancer. ‘Premam’ actress Sai Pallavi was the main attraction of that walkathon along with Sreesanth. Premam fever is not over yet. Reports from Chennai has strongly made that reality with Premam’s 100 days successful run in Chennai. Yesterday, Premam celebrated its 100 days run in Kerala and this news has really shocked the film lovers all around the world. And another shocking thing is that it is a Malayalam movie which has got 100 successful run at the theatres in Tamilnadu. For a Tamil movie to get its 100 days run in Tamilnadu is not a new thing but a Malayalam movie Premam has got that chance to be a star in Chennai. This is what conquering means irrespective of its language difference the movie has got wonderful welcome at the Chennai theatres. That’s what true cinema is, regardless of its language and filmmaking movie buzz enjoy cinema at the theatres.

The centers in Chennai which has completed Premam’s 100 days are Escape, Luxe, Ega and Mayajaal. This is really a remarkable achievement that a Malayalam movie achieved this from another state. Credits to the whole team of Premam who tried their best and worked hard for the success of the movie. All those hard work has been paid off with these proudest moments from Kerala and from our neighbourhood, Tamilnadu.

The director of the movie, Alphonse Puthran is having a great time in his career and personal life that he got married some days before and some great news is in favour of him. Even though the movie faced many issues beginning from the censor copy leak till the incidents happened at the colleges regarding the Onam celebrations, Premam has also set some remarkable events marking its positive side in the celluloid. The movie has got its own space in Malayalam cinema, which they have achieved.

An amount of appreciation goes to the stars in the movie, Nivin Pauly and three actresses : Anupama Parameswaran, Sai Pallavi and Madonna Sebastian for their unbelievable performance in the movie which has took Premam to the position it is now. Two names, Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph, they both have something in common. Do you know what it is..? Mohanlal is the most valuable actor/star in Mollywood and Jeethu Joseph is the most valuable director in Mollywood. Jeethu Joseph had all set to come up with his next film Life of Josootty on this September 18th and the breaking news is not that. Jeethu Joseph himself revealed to a leading Media that he will be joining with Mohanlal again in next year or so for a film. He said that he has 3 upcoming projects. One is with Prithvi Raj in the lead and that might be a thriller. Then he will do a film with Kavya Madhavan which will be a woman centric film. Reports says that he will only be the writer of that film.

Then comes the much anticipated project with the Universal star, The complete actor Mohanlal and the spectators wants a film that will go over Drishyam. That will be the greatest challenge in front of Jeethu Joseph and he is a man who loves to take up challenges and win it with elaan. Let’s wait for the big bang with Jeethu Joseph and Mohanlal.

100 days of Premam celebration

Premam is undoubtedly the most discussed Mollywood film this year and the most celebrated Mollywood film after Drishyam as well. Now the film has completed 100 days run here and it had cemented its place as the second biggest hit in the Malayalam film industry in its total gross collection and in the number of shows as well. But more than its success, some controversies happened around making it a hot topic in the news headlines sadly.

The first one like that was about the censor copy leak of the film which had really made some kind of a havoc in Malayalam cinema industry and related to that many other controversies were also revealed. At last police found out the culprits from the censor board office itself and thus putting rest to all other fake allegations against many people including the director of the film, Alphonse Puthren.

Then it came in to the news again with allegations from many people like Kamal and G venugopal etc who said that Premam really sets a bad model before the youngsters of the society. But there was a lot of support for the film at that time as well. Then again the issue popped up when the Onam celebrations at colleges occurred. Youngsters came to college imitating Premam model dressing style and all that resulting in some bad incidents as well which again cornered the film in the bad light as a reason of all those bad incidents.

There was some positive things as well happened for the film during this 100 days as it is almost confirmed to be remade in Telugu and Tamil. In Telugu it is confirmed that Naga Chaitanya will play the Nivin Pauly character and in Tamil discussions are still going on about who will play the lead role.

The stardom of Nivin Pauly has risen to another level with this success and he has become one of the most valuable young star in Mollywood as well. During this 100 days some happy moments happened in the life of director Alphonse Puthren as he got married and the hero Nivin Pauly won his first State Film Award for Best Actor of last year as well.

Kunchacko Boban is an actor who is always called the Young Star of Mollywood even though he is not a youngster anymore considering his age. But he is one of the evergreen looking star in Mollywood and one of the best in romantic roles after Mohanlal who is a master in it. Kunchacko Boban who made a rocking entry to Mollywood with one of the all- time blockbuster romantic film named Aniyathipravu directed by Fazil became a very popular young star in no time. But later he got typecast roles and he took a break from films .

After some years Kunchacko Boban made a re-entry and that was really a great comeback indeed. He did many roles which are very different from each other and a once romantic hero turned out to be one of the versatile actor of the younger generation. He gained a lot of followers on his comeback trail and has also became one of the minimum guaranteed actor in Mollywood. He became part of relatively low budget entertainers and gave an assurance of getting profit for the films from the theaters itself. His association with actor Biju Menon has become one of the new success formulas in Mollywood and the recent example of that was the film Madhura Naranga which was received well at the Box Office.

Now some media calls him the next Superstar but Kunchacko Boban says that he do not deserve that title at all. The Media calls him so because of the love they have on him. But he wants to be a good actor who gives good films to the viewers who trust him and do not want to be a superstar like Mammootty or Mohanlal and he also knows that he can’t even dream of reaching where these legends are now. He believes that not even a cinema can become a success with the presence of a hero alone.

According to Kunchacko Boban, the success of a film depends on each and everyone who works behind it to make it a better product.
