Mammootty is the hero in mind as always, says Renji Panicker

Renji Panicker is the firebrand writer in Mollywood for long years and he has also made his mark as a director as well. Few years back he came to the field of acting as well through the film Om Shanti Oshana by Jude Antony Joseph. Very quickly he became popular as an actor and now one of the busiest actor in M-town. His association with Shaji Kailas is one of the most successful writer-director combination in Mollywood who has given many hit films in Malayalam film industry.

Renji Panicker has written for Suresh Gopi and Mammootty more and among the superstars of Mollywood he has written for Mohanlal only one time. Renji Panicker said that even before he came to the film field through the association with Shaji Kailas, Mammootty was the hero in his mind and still it is Mammootty. Renji Panicker says that it is because of the style of his writing and thought process which suits Mammootty’s manliness more than that of others. Mohanlal has a different kind of approach to acting and presenting a role.

Renji Panicker has written many firebrand films and he had written many fierce dialogues as well. According to him Mammootty and Suresh Gopi are the actors who are suitable for his style of writing and Mammootty comes to his mind at first whenever he starts writing a script. His dialogues for Mammootty in films like The King were so popular in Mollywood.

He says that he had wrote the hit film Ekalavyan directed by Shaji Kailas by keeping Mammootty in mind. But Mammootty did not do that film because of a misunderstanding and later Suresh Gopi comes in place of Mammootty in that film. It was a super success and also a turning point in Suresh Gopi’s as well as Renji Panicker’s career. Renji had wrote classic firebrand films like Commissioner, Lelam etc for Suresh Gopi later.

He was associated with Shaji Kailas and Joshiy more as they were the kind of film makers that suits his style of writing. He has done only one film with Mohanlal as a writer and it was Praja directed by Joshiy. The film which bombed at Box Office that time later acquired great followers when it came to mini screen.

Cancer center issue: Sreenivasan all set to make film against it

Actor and filmmaker Sreenivasan few months back came up against the proposal of starting a cancer center at Kochi very openly and he said that even a single cancer patient will not be saved with that cancer center and there is some other dark motives behind this proposal of starting this so called cancer center in Kochi. Sreenivasan said that there are some dangerous interest playing behind that move and he has the evidence with him against all those things as well.

Sreenivasan told this while Minister K Babu was on stage with him while both were attending a function at Mulanthuruthy. It was the inauguration of the plan of making organic farming widespread by making the use of vegetables cultures through purely organic and natural methods in households. It was a plan made by Thuruthikkara Agricultural Improvement Co-operative Society.

Sreenivasan has not revealed the evidence to anyone including the honorable minister K Babu and he later told that he will share the evidence which is kept as a secret to the Government or the ones Government entrust to collect the evidence from him. But now Sreenivasan says that he is not going to share the evidence with anyone as he is making use of it to make his next film. He says that through that film he will reveal that secret or evidence to the whole people in the state.

He says that it is not right to reveal the story before the film comes before all of us. When it is released we all can see and hear what he has to say about it and it will surely startle the audience, Sreenivasan said it in a recent interview to a media. Sreenivasan also told in that interview that don’t think that he is a coward just because he did not revealed that secret to anyone. He did that because he wanted to make use of it for his film.
Anyway now all eyes are on Sreenivasan as to how he make use of that evidence to make a film and come up against the cancer center issue.

Prithviraj has definitely emerged as a role model to follow for the young and upcoming actors. May be after Mammootty and Mohanlal, Prithviraj has made such an impact among youngsters that they want to follow his footsteps in the film industry here. Once Nivin Pauly said that Prithviraj has given him some advice about handling success. They worked together in Shyama Prasad directorial film Ivide. When Prithviraj was asked about that statement by Nivin Pauly in a recent interview with Vanitha Prithvi said that Nivin Pauly does not have to follow his advice.

Prithvi said that it is hard to handle success than failure. If we fails we will try to correct the mistakes that we have done or we will look into it to find out what mistakes have been made by us that lead to the failure. We will also try to work hard the next time to rectify all those mistakes that lead us to the failure. But when it comes to the success we will be in a confusion of what to do and always tries to do the same that helped to get us that success, he added.

When we fail we try to experiment and do something different. But when we are successful we always tries to repeat what that gave us the so called big success. That becomes a fear to try out new and different things. Prithvi says that we should become the slave of such a fear that comes out of the result of mishandling success.Prithvi said that he will never insist that Nivin should follow what he said to him as an advice because all his films are doing well now and he is selecting the films also with utmost care and taking his time before selecting each movies. He is also very serious about cinema and that will definitely help him.

Nivin pauly is facing the criticism from media as well as film lovers that he always does a film standing in a safe zone and never tries for different ones. Now he is making attempts to do different films as per reports.

Sai Pallavi said that she was writing the post in a lot of pain while is down with high fever. She explains what was happened really. She said that when she came to Dubai for attending a free medical camp for the workers there and while mingling with them she had to attend a press meet there. While answering questions of media during that press meet someone asked about her take on the Premam controversy citing the recent unfortunate incidents that happened at colleges in Kerala where youngsters tries to imitate Premam model.

As an answer to that she told that everyone is gifted with a conscience and we have to use it well and use it to differentiate between what is the right thing to do and what is wrong which should not be. We cannot rape anyone or we do not become terrorists if we see something like that in a film. Premam is a film which made people happy and smile and for many girls her character gave confidence about their beauty as well. But she said that she is really sad for what has happened as well.

But the media page posted that news in such a way that their headline of the news said that Sai Pallavi asks what’s wrong in imitating Premam model and says audience are not Monkeys. So she just want to say that it is not that she intended to say and wants to say sorry if she has hurt anyone’s feeling and on the way wants the media to be true to what they does.

Again Triple role film from Mammootty

Triple role films are not very usual in our film industry even though in some films the lead character come up with multiple get ups. Our Superstars like Mammootty and Mohanlal has done many double roles in their career as well. But only Mammootty has done the triple role when it comes in the case of superstars. Mammootty had done it in his Ranjith directorial film Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathira Kolapathakathinte Kadha which released few years back and for which Mammootty won several recognition as well. He had done 3 characters in that film even though one character does not have much screen space.

Now the latest news from the industry says that Mammootty is again doing a triple role film next year. The film will be conceived by the debutant director named Saji. The news came from the writer Benny P Nayarambalam who is writing down the screenplay of this upcoming flick. The report says that the film is all set to start next year March and the team is not yet finalized about the other cast specially the female lead of the film. The cast and crew details of the flick will be announced soon.

The report about the film also says that the three characters that Mammootty playing will be of above 50 years old. The film is not titled as of now and that too will be announced along with the cast and crew details. In Paleri Manikyam, Mammootty played characters which is at the old age or middle aged and recently the director of that film Ranjith said to the media that it was Mammootty who insisted to play all those 3 characters in that film. At first Mammootty was chosen only to play the central character and the other two characters were reserved for some other actors. But he insisted on playing all those characters by himself.

With this film another debutant director is coming to Mollywood with a Mammootty starrer as Mammootty always prefer newcomers more than to trust the experienced ones. Sometimes he made it big with his decisions and sometimes it backfired as well. Let us see what happens with this one.

Nivin Pauly to act in Sidhartha Siva’s next

After winning the State Film Award for the Best Actor this year Nivin Pauly said that it was really an unexpected one and will never do characters aiming at awards or something like that. He said he will only do films which satisfy the audience and never want to prove anything to anyone. There was a lot of controversy over the award as majority of people said that it was an award deserved by Jayasurya and Nivin did not gave such a performance which deserved a State Film Award for Best Actor.

But now as per the news coming for the last few weeks it seems that Nivin Pauly is all set to prove that he is a class actor as well by doing some films which is out of his safe zone and which may give him more appreciations and recognitions in the future. There was a news earlier that Nivin Pauly will play the lead role in National Award Winner CR. Biju’s next film and reports said that it will be an offbeat film as well with great social relevance. The film said to be start the shoot on next January.

Now as per the latest reports, Nivin Pauly has given dates to Sidharth Siva’s next venture as well. Sidharth Siva who is an actor as well as director has made two films till now and both of them got national recognition. His first one was 101 Chodyangal and the second one was Ain. Nivin Pauly and Sidharth has acted together in Sathyan Anthikkad directorial film Puthiya Theerangal years back. Sources says that, it will be a very different character from Nivin Pauly and it will challenge his acting skills as well. He is now all set to do experiments to come out of the so called safe zone where he was doing all his characters he did so far.

Nivin’s upcoming release is Action Hero Biju. Then he will join the debutant Althaf directorial flick. He also have one Tamil film in pipeline as well to do this year or next year beginning.

Mega star Mammootty and Universal star Mohanlal, the biggest super stars that Mollywood has ever seen and they are still ruling the kingdom called Mollywood with even any fear of losing their crown. Because there no one here who can even dream of matching their skills and crowd pulling capacity. They have been here since the beginning of the 1980’s and from that time malayalees have a special place in their heart for these two gem of artists. Once director Fazil who had made a lots of films with both of them and whose is also their family friend says that Malayalees have two hearts in them. When one heart is beating for Mohanlal, the other half is beating for Mammootty.

Both of these veterans share a great bond as well between them. It is a record in Indian cinema that a two super stars of an industry had shared screen together for as many as 55 times in their career. That shows how much the love each other and how much they supported each other. Each of them knows their own strengths and limitations and both of them aware of the fact that they can’t outsmart the other in certain areas of acting.

Even when their fans are fighting outside like wild animals and degrading each other’s film, these legends share a bond like brothers and they are the best buddies when the friendship in the mollywood is concerned. In every other film industries we daily hear about the ego clashes and rivalry between the top stars there and sometines they were expressing that in public as well by pulling the other one’s legs in the open.

But Mammootty and Mohanlal never done that and they know how to stay unaffected by all those what is happening outside their personal life. Now another example of that friendship had come before us. On this September 7th, Mammootty turns 64 years of old and his fans are celebrating it with a special show his film named Big B on September 6. And in Perumbavoor that show is in the theater owned by Mohanlal and Antony Perumbavoor named Ashirvad Cinemas. Ashirvad Cinemas is the first among those theaters which quickly agreed to screen Big B as a birthday gift to Mammootty.
