Bajrangi Bhaijan broke record set by Baahubali…?
Salman Khan starrer film Bajrangi Bhaijan conceived by Kabir Khan has become a storm in box office this season and Bollywood and Indian cinema industry is witnessing back to back record breakers. The Collection records are tumbling each day and no record is holding its place more than a week. SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali had broke the record set by Aamir Khan starrer PK by crossing 200 crore in 4 days as PK took 5 days to do so.
But now reports are coming in that Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijan had took box office by a storm and broke the record of Baahubali by collecting 232 crore from Box office in just 4 days. Even though the report is not official but it may soon break out to the public by the popular trade guides of our industry.We are here speaking about the worldwide collection of the films. The collection report has been shared by many trade guides as well as celebrities like Adnan Sami and everyone really amazed with the performance of the film.
The flick had earned not only financial profit but also earning critical appreciation as well. Many people says that Salman Khan had given his career best performance as Pawan aka Bajrangi this flick and people like Aamir Khan said that he was moved in to tears as the terrific performance of Salman Khan is just made him cry out of joy as well as the character touched his heart.
Before last Friday it was all about Baahubali and since Friday it is all about Bajrangi Bhaijan. The film had got 100 crore from India alone from its opening weekend and going strong in every centers. The collection is increasing day after day at many centers and is cruising towards Bahubali and it will soon catch up with Baahubali collection if things are going at this pace. Both Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijan aims at breaking record created by Aamir Khan films such as Dhoom 3 and later PK which collected more than 550 crores and close to 700 crores respectively from its worldwide run.
We have to look into the fact that Baahubali had got this collection from different versions but Bajrangi Bhaijan got this from its one and only Hindi version. The most interesting thing is that the script of Bajrangi Bhaijan is written by K V Vijayendra Prasad who is also the script writer of Bahaubali as well.
Mohanlal’s take on the street dogs issue going viral in social media
The issue of the killing of street dogs was now one of the current topics in our society and our media also have took up the issue very seriously as well. There has been different opinion came about the issue and the controversial one was by the anchor Ranjini Haridas who strongly come against the killing of street dogs and ha create a lot of buzz in the town with this issue. Many people oppose her in this issue as her stand on not to kill street dog seems a very immature viewpoint looking at the danger these dogs can cause to the society as a whole.
Now God’s own Super star Mohanlal had come up with his take on this issue through his blog today. The Complete Actor’s blogs are always well accepted by the media and ordinary people as he expresses the voice of the common man with pin point logical arguments and reasons. His words are simple but powerful in all its sense and he actively takes part and expresses his opinion about everything that is happening in our society with a clear thought process and seems that he always hits the bull’s eye with his words.
Mohanlal said in his blog that we are now talking about or debating about whether to kill street dogs which are danger to our children and society as a whole or not to kill them. He says that this is pathetic situation as we are the ones who feeds these dogs with the wastes we thrown in to the streets and they grows in number feeding on it. We made our society just like a waste plant and these street dogs grown in it in numbers. Later when it became dangerous to our society we still debating about whether to prevent it by removing those dogs or not.
Mohanlal says that Dogs are animals on which we can put our trust on. But if it becomes a threat to society we have to wash it away. Thinking about what good a dog can do and waiting to remove the threat will only cause more havoc in the society. Mohanlal’s words indirectly mention our government’s inability to take strong decisions as well as the action of certain people who is only doing harm to the society knowingly or unknowingly in the name of protecting animals.

Nivin Pauly can be called as a star says Asif Ali
There was some debate going in social media and the central point of all that debate is that Nivin Pauly is a star or not. The debates are started when he has got continuous successes in the last 1 and half years or so and his latest form is terrific. He had two blockbusters back to back this year which are Oru Vadakkan Selfi which came in March 2015 and Premam which came in May last this year. Premam had gone on to become the second biggest success in Mollywood after Mohanlal’s Drishyam as well.
There has been many fan fights were also happened about the issue of Nivin Pauly’s stardom which involved some of his fans compared him with the legend Mohanlal who is the biggest star Mollywood had ever seen. Later Nivin Pauly himself clarified that by saying that he cannot even dream of reaching up to Mohanlal in his whole career.
Now another young actor of Mollywood had come up and said that Nivin Pauly can be called as a star now. His films gives a minimum guarantee to the audience as well as the one who makes it and thus he is eligible for the stardom. He can be called a superstar of the younger audience. But Asif Ali Clearly said that no one can be compared to Mohanlal in any way whether it is acting or about stardom. Mohanlal is beyond all that comparisons according to him. Asif Ali told this in a recent interview of him in Grihalakshmi Magazine.
Asif Ali said that Premam’s record will soon be broken by some other film and this is good for the industry as well. Asif Ali’s last release was Nirnnayakam which unfortunately not done very well at box office even after getting great reviews and report. Asif Ali’s performance in the film was also well appreciated and for many of them it was his career best performance as well. Asif is an actor who does not carry ego with him and always ready to act along with his contemporaries. His upcoming films are Double Barrel with Prithviraj and Kohinoor with Indrajith.
Salman Khan becomes record breaker again with Bajrangi Bhaijaan
Salman Khan proved once again that he is the real king of box office in Bollywood. Salman Khan is undoubtedly the actor with most number of fans in North Indian states and his films were celebrated there just like a Rajinikanth film celebrated in Tamilnadu. Salman’s film never fail to appeal to the common audience and he is always choses mass action or comedy film to enthrall the audience. And this time he came up with a film which is somewhat a class approach more than the so called mass-action approach. The title of the film is Bajrangi Bhaijaan directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Salman khan himself.
The film had opened with great reviews and reports from all over the world and in just 3 days it had grossed over 100 crore rupees from box office. By this flick also entering the 100 crore club with ease Salman Khan now become the star with most number of 100 crore films in Bollywood specially and Indian cinema as a whole. Bajrangi Bhaijaan had released on last Friday and by Sunday it had reached the 100 crore mark with stupendous opinion from spectators.
Trade analysts confirms that in its second day alone it had collected more than 36 crore rupees and it is also a record for him as it had become the best ever single collected film in his career beating his record of 32 crore collected by Ek Tha Tiger. In its 3rd day it had again break the record which it created a day back by jumping up the collection to more than 38 crore.
This is his 8th film to gross more than 100 crores in box office and no one in Bollywood match Salman’s star value right now. Salman Khan who is 49 years old but still unmarried and even now one of the most eligible bachelor in India and his popularity among youngsters in unmatched. This is indeed a great come back from Salman Khan from the personal problems that haunted him for past few months during which he had to go to jail as well.
Reviewers to think about their eligibility to do it first says Marthandan
Film reviewers in the social Media and also in the popular television channel is under attack now as one after another many people from film industry is coming out to criticize their attitude which really killing the films and on the way killing the industry as well. Actor Kunchacko Boban had come out against them saying that they had to show a minimum amount of humanity towards a film while they reviewing or analyzing it for the public. They can’t just kill a film through their words as it really kills some people’s hopes and dreams as well who is working behind each and every creativity from the film industry.
The latest one is the director of the film named Acha Dhin starred Mammootty. His name is G.Marthandan and his film is released on last Friday. In social media and television channels the film is getting bad reviews and reviewers are virtually killed the film in all sense. The bad reviews which spread had really pulled down the film to the level of a disaster and now the director himself had come out pleading not to kill his film through reviews.
Marthandan says that it just like killing a newborn baby without letting him to grow and live in this world. Everybody has the right to criticize and anyone can criticize as well. But before setting themselves to criticize others they have to think of their eligibility to criticize. Marthandan says that he is ready to take up healthy criticisms but what is now happening is just the opposite. Many people just criticizing the film even without seeing it and also spreading bad and fake reviews as well.
He says that he had done Acha Dhin keeping in mind about the social problems and also he wanted to take political satire like Sandhesham. Marthandan tells that films like Baahubali is robbing our box office collections and when we tries to compete with them with our small films this kind of reviewers and piracy kills it on the spot. He also pleads to give him a chance to be in this industry and he says that review or criticize a film only after it completes one week at box office. Everybody needs sometime to understand and correct the mistakes he had done.
Film reviewers have to show some humanity says Kunchacko Boban
Actor Kunchacko Boban had come out hard against the film reviewers in popular television channel as well as in social media. In an interview with Manorama channel Kunchacko Boban said that a film reviewer must have some humanity or have to show some humanity while reviewing a film. He says that some film reviewers are reviewing a film in such a way that they are taking some kind of revenge against that film. They are reviewing a film with a prejudiced mind of killing a film and they are some sort of Pre-Determined to do or at least people now feels that way.
Kunchacko Boban said that he always try to understand the positive sides of every criticisms and it is criticism that makes an artist grow by learning from his mistakes or realizing the mistakes he had done. But in some reviews by the so called revenge taking type of reviewers they tell the whole story of the film and then kills it inch by inch with their harsh analysing. This was just like spreading the pirated copy of the film as the story of the film or what is happening in the film is told to the whole world openly. Then how people come to theater to watch the film after they heard all about the story and incidents in a film.
The actor says that this a worst trend and the reviewers have to understand that by killing a film they will get nothing. They have to realize that they had got his platform only because there is cinema. So it was their duty also to show some respect and humanity towards it and helps to develop or grow the industry to a much bigger and positive level. He wonders whether these people have any other talent at all. Cinema is coming out from nowhere and it is a creativity not a mechanical process.
Many and many people are working hard to make it in the shape which we see on silver screen. But some people just kills it with few words much to the shock of the people behind that creativity. These reviewers are behaving like they have no heart and that may be why they can’t understand the pain of the people who works in the film industry.
Baahubali beat Rajinikanth’s Enthiran as well
According to the latest collection report of the magnum opus film Baahubali it has been confirmed without any surprises that it had reached the 300 crore club within 9 days of its theatrical run all over the globe and it is phenomenal too. And thus it had become the first south Indian film to enter in to the 300 crore club and do you want to know whose record Baahubali had broken this time..? It is of none other Tamil super star Rajinikanth who is probably the biggest super star India has ever seen.
The previous collection record was that of Rajinikanth starrer film helmed by Shankar named Enthiran and it had got a total collection of 283 crores from box office. But that was Enthiran’s life time gross and Baahubali need only 9 days to broke it and that is quite amazing as well as unbelievable. Many trade guides confirmed this records created by Baahubali and its gross collection now reached to 303 crore rupees from all over approximately and still going strong.
Records are not only broken in south India alone. Baahubali doing the same in North India as well and many records tumbling there as well and the latest one is that its Hindi dubbed version has got a net amount over 50 crores from this 9 days and it is quite a milestone also. Salman Khan film which arrived on Friday also getting great Box office collection and report but it still not affected Baahubali much to the surprise of all.
If we consider the flick’s collection in the opening weekend then yes, there has been a drop in collection everywhere that is quite natural as well. Release of regional films may have affected it a little bit taking away some screens from it but no one can pose any challenge to Baahubali till now anywhere in India. Even in Kerala box office after almost 4 regional releases including the film of a super star, Baahubali is getting the highest collection and factors like rain and other things does not seems to be affecting Baahubali at all but Mollywood films are bowing down.
Heroine of Santhosh Pandit movie found dead
An actress who had played a major role in a Santhosh Pandit film found dead at Karamanayar 2 days back. The name of that actress is Shilpa and at first police said that it looks like an accident. But now the people from her village asking for a detailed investigation on this case as they believes that there are possibilities that she has been forcefully thrown in to the river and if that is the matter then it becomes a murder case.
The report has been published at first in an online page named Marunaadan Malayali. They are the first ones to tell to the world that the dead girl was the heroine of a Santhosh Pandit flick named Super star Santhosh Pandit and her name was Shilpa. At first when media asked Santhosh Pandit he did not got ready to admit that the dead girl was one of his heroines. He said that there were many girls who have same name worked in his film and he had to take a look in to the matter before commenting about it. Later he expressed his shock over the death of Shilpa as well.
Santhosh Pandit said that Shilpa was acted in his film when she was studying in 9th standard and she had showed maturity of a level higher than what we expect from a 9th standard student. Later when he called her for working in a film named Minimolue Achan she was busy with some Telugu film and after he had not met her as well. He also told that Shilpa had acted in some television serials as well. But no one knows much about this specially her relatives or neighbors at her village. They are saying that she had shown her face in some serials and not anything big as well.
The death occurred at Azham kal kadavu near Maruthoor kadav in the Karamanayar at Trivandrum. She is a plus two student at Shasthamangalam RKD Memorial higher secondary school. She had went to a function with a friend and two youngsters last day and later found dead. Now the investigation is surrounding that 3 people along with her and soon there may be a clue which can tell about her death.
