Puli Murugan is coming with lots of adventure

For almost 1 and half year fans of Mohanlal and Mollywood film lovers are waiting to hear to one news and that was about the starting of a film named Puli Murugan starring Universal star of Mollywood, The Complete actor Mohanlal. The much anticipated film is directing by young hit maker of Mollywood Mr. Vysakh who gave us commercial blockbusters like Pokkiriraja and Seniors. This big budget film is produced by Tomichan Mulakupaadam under his own banner of Mulaku Padam films. The shoot will start this month itself and it will kick start it’s filming at the dense forests of Hanai in Vietnam.

The film will be a treat to watch for the audience as they will be in to see something very special in the film and the makers assures that audience can expect a never seen before spectacle in front of them. The shoot in Vietnam will have Mohanlal and 10 leopards and it will be a big fight between Mohanlal and wild Leopards. The trained Leopards will be brought from Bankok and the fight sequences are composed by the best stunt master in India Mr. Peter Hein and in fact Vietnam is the native place of Peter Hein.

Puli Murugan is a character which has adventure in his veins and also very clever. He is a person lives in a village close to forest and lives by going onto forest for cutting bamboo tress and had to fight with nature and wild animals to make a living of his own. The proper place to shoot the fight scenes of this kind will be Cambodia and Hanai as these places has the facilities and also the trainers to shoot these sequences.

Mohanlal is always an actor who gives 100% dedication when it comes to his profession. He never uses dupes to perform action scenes and he is a killer of an action star too. He is famous for his breathtaking stunt scenes and the flexibility of his body while doing stunts. This character will be a challenge for him and it will be one of his favorite as well as he loves action.

The screenplay of the film is written by Udaya Krishnan who was a part of the duo Udaya Krishna-Sibi K Thomas. Shaji will be DOP of the flick and Gopi Sunder is the one who is going tune the songs and bgm for this flick. The shoot in Vietnam will be over within 15 days and the later parts will be shot at Attapady and silent valley area where major part of the film will be shot.

Drishyam to Papanasam and Mohanlal to Kamal Haasan

Drishyam cinema enjoys a cult classic status in Mollywood and it is undoubtedly one of the best film ever made in Indian cinema history. There is a record of records broken by Drishyam and it is still the top grossing film in Mollywood and looks like it will continue to be in that position for some more time. It has been remade to 4 other languages and they are Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. Hindi version is nearing its release and Tamil version Papanasham released yesterday. Even though there are four remakes people waited more for the tamil version named Papanasam. The one and only factor for that is the choice of Kamal Haasan to play the role played by Mohanlal in the original version. This may be used as a comparative tool to analyze who is the best Mohanlal or Kamal Haasan as they are considered as the greatest actors India has ever seen and continues to be on that spot even now.

Even though comparing these two legends are not so easy and sometimes it may sound a bit rubbish as well because both following different styles of acting. But still when these two great actors play the same character it can be possible to some extent. To be frank George Kutty and Swyambhulingam are very different in their backdrop. But their reaction may be on the same side in some situation as the story of the film follows the same path in both versions. Mohanlal is more natural, subtle and sometimes makes us wonder struck with amazing flow of dialogue delivery and underplay of emotions. To say honestly undoubtedly he is the best when it comes to under-acting and natural acting. We never feels that he is acting or he is just like behaving as the character just like there is no camera in front of him.

When it comes to Kamal Haasan his acting is more methodical. Rather than underplaying of the emotions he is more on to the side of loud expression of emotions. Kamal Haasan’s acting is not as natural as of Mohanlal and in some places we feels that he is acting as a character and aware of the camera in front of him. But he does it brilliantly as well.

When we analyze the scene in Drishyam just before climax when he speaks to the characters played by Asha Sharath and Siddique he really created the emotional effect to unbelievable extent with his subtle acting. Even a blink of the eye expresses a lot and it was million dollar expressions as well. When it comes to Papanasam Kamal Hasan enact the same scene and created the same effect through loud expression of emotions such as crying and shivering with guilt, pain and helpessness. On this regard we can say that Mohanlal is more convincing as an actor than Kamal Hasaan. But Kamal Haasan using his method done a great job as well.

In the first half of Papanasam Jeethu Joseph had really cut down many expressions and shots which was in Drishyam done by Mohanlal so effortlessly. There are many scenes in which Kamala hasan tried his best but did not come up to the performance given by Mohanlal in a wider sense. But Kamal Haasan did a perfect job considering the tastes of Tamil people and Tamil culture. He is convincing to them.

Mohanlal and Kamal Haasan are the legends who were just born to become actors and that can be seen in each and every scene they performs and every characters they enacts. There is no such actor in India other than Mohanlal and Kamal Haasan who does a role with unbelievable perfection. That’s why we call them the complete actor and ulaga nayakan respectively.

Mohanlal-IV Sasi combo film all set to begin this year end

If the reports coming in are to be believed, Mohanlal and IV Sasi is all set to re-unite again after 15 years and it will be a very special one for Mollywood if the news is true and really will be something to watch out for the fans of Mohanlal and film lovers of Mollywood as a whole. IV Sasi is one of the all- time great directors of Malayalam film industry who had directed an unbelievable number of films which almost up to 150 films in a career spanning over 35 to 40 years. IV SASI is the one who made actor like Mammootty a super star and universal Star Mohanlal too acted in many of his films before he become the undisputed emperor of Mollywood.

It was IV Sasi who had directed Mohanlal’s evergreen classic blockbuster like Devasuram which still has a cult fan following and considered as one of the best of Mohanlal. Mohanal’s first film with I V Sasi was Ahimsa and his pair’s most of the films are super hits at box office. Unfortunately their last outing was not a memorable one for both of them as it was bombed at the box office and was titled as Sradha which got released in the year 2000. After that IV Sasi was not very active in recent years and his last film was a disaster at box office which was Vellathooval starring youngsters.

IV SASI was down and out after he entered into the new millennium, but he tried his luck with Mega star Mammootty and did a film named Balram vs Tharadas which had brought together two of his famous classic characters Inspector Balram and underworld king Thaaradas which is a character from his film Athirathram both starring Mammootty in the lead. Sadly the result was poor as the film was a disaster at Box office and there are also reports that he and the producer liberty basheer developed some personal problems with mammootty during the shoot of that film and it was controversial as well.

Now he is all set to return to Mollywood with a bang as per report and the new project of IV Sasi- Mohanlal team will be produced by None other than Gokulam Gopalan and a new duo will write down the screenplay of the flick which will be mass entertainer. Among the duo one is an IAS officer named Prashant and another one is Ambady. Even though the news has no official confirmation hopes are that it will happen and Malayalees once again see the credit of direction as IV Sasi on screen.

Film industry reacts to Premam piracy issue

Premam piracy issue had really shaken our film industry and it paved way for both negative and positive things in our film industry. Negative in a way that it had really kick started the fights between different association which at rest at least for a short period and many people from different association is throwing dirt from one side to other. The positive thing is that many people had become aware of the seriousness of the issue and lots of people are coming out to support the kill piracy cause. Also the law enforcement organizations came under scanner which paved way for their intensive action for the last couple days which may can shake the platform on which the piracy business runs.

Film industry too reacts to this issue of Premam piracy. Vineeth Sreenivasan in his Facebook post said that he really loves cinema and really want to work in this field till his last breath. But if people had decided to watch films on Whatsapp, he says that it really scares him and he said that it was not piracy it was us or our attitude that really scare him. Director Lijo Jose Pellissery said that it was like killing cinema. There is lot of efforts of many people going in to the making of a film and piracy kills it like a baby is killed by strangling on his/her neck. He said that it was not just about Premam. It is about every upcoming films which are going to die like this. He lends his support to Anwar Rasheed through his Facebook Post.

Nivin Pauly who is the hero of this film told that today it is Premam and tomorrow it will be another one if we sit quietly bearing all this. He said that if the so called Cells which is investigating this case can go forward honestly they can find out who is behind this leak. If one sits silent in this issue he/she will not have anyone to support if the same thing happens to him/her tomorrow. Director Alphonse Puthren said that Anwar Rasheed is a prolific film maker and this was just like cheating a great film maker who gave us something good before. He also said that associations are there to protect cinema not to destroy it.

Producer Santhosh Kottayi said that he is too with Anwar Rasheed and also told that he is always against the issue of piracy and he never ever encouraged this trend by buying CD’s or downloading prints from internet. But he said that he will not tell that piracy will kill film industry as pirated print goes popular only if the movie is a big hit and grosses big profit from theaters. To every successful products there will be something like piracy in its way and it is a universal trend. It shows that there are enough and more viewers for good films and they can go to any extent for watching that flick. That is what this piracy prints and its popularity is all about.

The last among the list of supporters for Premam team was young star Dulquer Salmaan who had said that a film needs its maximum days at box office and piracy is just like a theft. He lend his support to Anwar Rasheed calling him his mentor and Guru.

A shocking incident happened last day which had made the headlines of most of the national medias and it was the car accident that involved actress and member of parliament Mrs. Hema Malini. Hema Malini’s Mercedes was crashed with a Maruti Alto and a child named Sonam of age four had been died at the spot where the accident has took place. The child was in the Maruti Alto and she was with her parents. The father and mother of the little girl still in hospital with fairly serious injuries and Hema malini also in the hospital with injuries.

But if you hear what had happened after the accident there you all must be shocked even more and will really began to think about the care and compassion shown by people which differs according to the status of the people to which this care and compassion is shown. The girl who died in the accident was the daughter of Mr. Hanuman Khandelwal and Mrs. Shikha Khandelwal. After the accident had took place a doctor who pass by the place took the actress and Member of Parliament Hema Malini, her co passenger and driver to the nearby Fortis hospital in Jaipur.

But he ignored the passengers from other car including the little girl who died, her father and mother who were also seriously injured during the accident. Later people from nearby places came there and helped them to reach the SMS hospital in Dausa. The distraught father who is in grave pain after the death of his daughter said that if that doctor who took Hema Malini to the hospital also took his kid along with him she may have been alive today.

The Doctor’ who took Hema Malini to hospital was Shiv Sharma. The mother of child still don’t know her child was dead and the father is in unbearable pain after hearing the news of his child’s death. They just wondering why people’s emotion took sides when it comes to common man and celebrities. The sensitivity of the doctor who left the victims of the accident at the scene and rescued only the celebrity actress seems really unacceptable to say the least.

Premam piracy issue is getting hotter and hotter after each day and now it has turned into some war of words between the members of the different cinema associations in Mollywood. Everybody blaming the members of the other association for the leaking of censor copy of the flick. It was the producer of the film Anwar Rasheed himself started this by resigning from all associations in which he is a member of and raised the allegation that film associations are doing nothing even after he sought help from them to catch the culprit who is behind the leaked censor copy of his film and Anwar Rasheed also accused the law enforcement organization of Kerala Government as well for the spreading of his film’s pirated print all over. He accused that they were not taking any action in order to support some big fish who is behind all this.

Later in social media some fan fight happened between Mammootty and Mohanlal fans in which they accused each other for the pirated print of Premam. Mohanlal fans said that Mammootty is behind the leaking of this print as he wanted to help his son Dulquer Salmaan to hold on to his stardom which is fading away in front of the raising stardom of Nivin Pauly. On the other hand Mammootty fans accused Mohanlal for the leak as there is a doubt that the leak of the censor copy may come from Vismaya max studio Trivandrum or may be from Four Frames studio Chennai.

But both these accusations were proved baseless and logic less later as there is no proof against Mammootty doing this or against Mohanlal as he had sold the vismaya studio almost a year ago and he is no longer the owner of it. Chennai Four frames was not his but director Priyadarshan’s studio. At this moment Exhibitors federation president come out against directors Priyadarshan and B Unnikrishnan who were the chiefs of Four Frames studios and Vismaya max respectively and said that they both have to be questioned in this case. This report was seen in the website of Media One Channel.

But B Unni Krishnan said that basheer is saying this without even knowing the technical side as the post production of Premam was not done at Vismaya Max and only the conversion of censor copy to the hard disc was took place there and they had deleted the copy in front of the director himself. Director and owner of Four Frames, Mr. Priyadarshan also said that in Four Frames Chennai Premam’s mixing was took place and if that print is leaked then it might have the water mark of mixing copy not censor copy. After their explanation now all the doubts leading to the censor board who also has a copy of this in their hand.
