Nivin Pauly in 100 crore club

Nivin Pauly is going great guns as you all know as his films are becoming hits in a consistent manner and undoubtedly he is now the hot property of Mollywood in the business way of things. For the last 18 months or so he is having the best time of his life as whatever he touches turning in to gold and he deserves that as well for his selection of films keeping in mind what is his limitations are and what is his strengths as an actor. Also Nivin really has a cool way of handling things specially the success that coming his way that too in a big way.

An interesting statistics have come out recently about Nivin Pauly’s success in recent times and it says that his hit films had totally earned more than rupees 100 crores from the theaters all around. He had done 24 films as of now and among that almost 8 films has been super hits in which he had played an important role. After the success of his debut film named Malarvadi Arts Club he had got 7 more hits in the 23 films he acted later. Among these 7 hits one is really a multistar film named Bangalore Days which has Fahad Fazil and Dulquer Salmaan as well. It shows that Nivin had 6 solo hits in these 23 films after Malarvadi Arts Club.

The 7 films which are super successes are Thattathn Marayathu, Neram, 1983, Om Shanti Oshana, Bangalore Days, Oru Vadakkan Selfie and Premam which is still running well. These 7 successes totally collected an amount which counts more than rupess 100 crore rupees. And it was just like this young man had really found a way to make people come in to the cinema halls with his films.

This young man’s sudden rise makes us remember about the rise of Dileep after the success he got named Meesha Madhavan and during that time he had been getting this kind of series of hits one after the other. But Dileep could not hold on to that for long but it was the thing which really made him the popular star of Mollywood. It really seems that Nivin is also on his way to become the popular star of Mollywood after Dileep. If Dileep done through his trademark comedy movies then Nivin doing it with his Romantic comedies.

The ABCD combination again with Charlie

Mollywood film lovers can’t forget the film ABCD very soon which was indeed a super hit of Dulquer Salmaan conceived by Martin Prakkat. The flick was released in the year 2013 and it is still one of the big successes of Dulquer Salmaan’s career. American born Confused Desi aka ABCD was a comedy film which also gave us an actor named Jacob Gregory as the character named Kora. Martin Prakkat had started his film career with the film named Best Actor in which Mammootty is the hero and it was also a success too. Later he had done only one film which is ABCD with Mammootty’s son Dulquer in the lead and it also made its entry in the hit chart of Mollywood.

Now the super hit team of ABCD, Martin prakkat and Dulquer Salmaan is joining hands again for their new venture named Charlie which has already started filming and for which Unni R is writing the screenplay. The film is produced by Martin Prakkat himself in association with actor Joju George and Shebin Bucker. They are financing this flick under their own banner of Finding cinemas which was almost 2 years old now and this was Joju’s maiden venture as a financer too.

The screenplay of the film will be done together by Martin Prakkat and Unni R while Unni R alone wrote the dialogues for the flick. He is the one who wrote the story as well. Parvathi Menon and Aparnna Gopinath will play key roles as female leads in this flick and a bunch of other popular actors such as Nedumudi Venu, Seetha, Joju George, Chemban Vinod, Joy Mathew, Renji Panicker, Kalpana, Sunil Sugatha, Soubin, Tovino Thomas, Neeraj Madhav, Jacob Gregory, Kannan Sagar, Ramesh Pisharady etc also playing their part in this flick.

Artits like Aparnna Gopinath, Jacob Gregory, Tolvino Thomas etc were also part of this team’s first film ABCD as well. In fact ABCD is aparnna’s first film as well. She had also the female lead of Unni r written film Munnariyippu starring Mammootty and conceived by Venu. And Charlie will be her second film with Dulquer, Unni R and Martin Prakkat etc. Jomon T john is the DOP of this flick and the film will have 6 songs composed by Gopi Sundar.

Prithviraj’s advice to Nivin Pauly

Nivin Pauly is the now the most valuable young star of Mollywood owing to his recent successes which coming one after other for him for the past 18 months or so. Some people hailing him as the next super star of Mollywood as well even though in reality that is one of the most premature adjective to say about him. Because he had some hits which are big but he never really proved as an actor who can do any kind of character or who can make a film a success with his crowd pulling capacity alone.

Mohanlal and Mammootty are the only ones who can do it in current situation in Mollywood which they had been doing for the past 30 odd years here. Nivin Pauly’s successes came through same typical characters which he can do very easily and with the help of some writers like Vineeth Sreenivasan who has a star value equal to much more than Nivin. We are saying this considering the fact that if it was a Vineeth Sreenivasan film then people pour in to theaters irrespective of who acts in it. Then we can’t really say that Thattathin marayathu, or Oru Vadakkan Selfie is a film which got great success due to Nivin’s star power.

The most powerful contemporary of Nivin among the young stars is definitely Prithviraj who proved himself as a very good actor as well as a crowd puller among youngsters in Mollywood. Recently Nivin Pauly and Prithviraj had acted together in the film named Ivide directed by Veteran film maker Shyamaprasad. Once during the shoot of the film Prithviraj had an advice for Nivin. It was about the successes he is getting currently. Prithviraj advised Nivin that never go after the formula of success which is working for him now. It was good know what making your film a success. But going after the things which made it a success will make every other film just like the previous one and it will begin to bore people. It is just that do the films which makes you happy and the one which you likes to do. Some may become success and some may be failures. But keep on doing what we really love to do.

Nivin pauly Says that it was a great advice which really helped him a lot to concentrate and at the same time relax by taking his mind away from the thoughts of the success of failure of a film. He only thinks about giving and trying his best to make it good.

Vellinakshathram film magazine against Shyamaprasad

A new controversy had sprouted in Mollywood and this time the people who had involved in this is veteran director Shyamaprasad and a popular film magazine named Vellinakshathram. Actor Nivin Pauly also indirectly involved in this as well. The controversy had begun with an interview of Shyamaprasad which he has given to Vellinakshathram film magazine after the release of his latest film named Ivide starring Prithviraj and Nivin Pauly which even though got fairly good critics reviews but failed in the box office quite miserably.

Vellinakshathram published that interview with Shyamaprasad with a title which says that Nivin is not as good an actor as Prithviraj and Nivin Pauly do not have the range to do big roles. But after the publishing of the interview Shyamaprasad had come out through his Facebook page saying that he had not said anything like that in an interview and it was all made up news by the film magazine.

He also called them a yellow magazine who is promoting filthy yellow journalism to discourage an upcoming actor like Nivin Pauly.  Shyama Prasad said that Nivin pauly is smart enough to not to belive such rubbishes and he is a good actor. Shyama Prasad also said that he had high hopes on Nivin as an actor and he will have a hopeful future ahead of him as well.

But Vellinakshathram had hit back strongly at Shyamaprasad and they said that they had published only what Shyamaprasad had said about Nivin Pauly and to prove that they had published the audio clip of that interview with Shyamaprasad in the online pages and website. In that audio clip it is clear that Shyamaprasad is saying not so good about the acting skills of Nivin. In that audio clip Shyamaprasad says that Nivin have to grow as an actor and he does not have that range or maturity as an actor which Prithviraj has. In Ivide as well compared to Prithvi Nivin was not that good.

Vellinakshathram says that Shyamaprasad may have some personal problems with Nivin and that may be the reason for his statement about him. But they says that don’t make them a cover for taking out his problems.

The character named Malar has made success and reach which cannot be said in mere words as the success of the film is really depended on this character somehow. There are many lovable and well performed characters in this flick but nothing got more attention than the character named Malar who is the second love of the lead character name George played by Nivin Pauly.

Malar is a Tamil girl and a college lecturer as well. Sai Pallavi, this girl with pimples had really conquered the hearts of Malayali audience specially of the young people and her character name was really become a trend in social media circles after the release of the movie. But according to reports Sai Pallavi is in a state of confusion regarding whether to continue with her acting career or not.

That is mainly because of two things. The first reason is that the success of the character named Malar had gone to a level which is beyond her level to control it and now her responsibility as an actress was damn high. Premam was her debut film and taking up so much responsibility from her second film as an actress is a great challenge and she fears that if she can be able to do it or not.

The second reason is that many people had sent her letters in which they said to her that not to act in any other films as they want to see her only as Malar. Sai Pallavi says that she is happy to know that people loves her a lot but at the same time it gives her the fear as well about living up to their expectation all the time and it sometimes seems very difficult for her.

She said that it was Aphonse Puthren who made her an actress and without his support and guidance she would not have this success. It was he who told her that with pimples she looks more pretty.

Unni R again for Dulquer after Mammootty

Unni R is considered as one of the best screenplay writers in Mollywood now and he has been a prolific writer in our literary field as well. His first film as a dialogue writer is a Mammootty starrer film named Big B which has released in the year 2007 and for that film he had written the screenplay in association with the director of that film Mr. Amal Neerad. It was really an unofficial kind of remake of an American film named Four Brothers. But the film was noted for its making style and specially strength and style of its dialogues. Unni R became noted from that point as those dialogues were just went viral among youth even though the film had not got a big success which it was deserved to get. But later it had become so popular through Mini Screen.

Then we saw his name as the writer of one of the segment of the anthology film named Kerala Cafe(2009) in which he wrote the section ‘Bridge’ conceived by Anwar Rasheed and got the applause for the emotional content and the powerful flow of emotions in that segment. The Unni wrote the script for the film named Chappa Kurish released in 2011 and it was also noted for its unique kind of making style and the pattern of dialogues. Then came the film Bachelor Party in 2012 directed by Amal Neerad for which Unni R wrote the screenplay.

In 2013 he again joined with amal for one section of the anthology film named 5 Sundarikal. In that he wrote the section Kullante Bharya in which Dulquer Salmaan played the lead. At last in 2015 he wrote screenplay for the film named Munnariyippu conceived by Venu starring Mammootty.

And the latest venture which he is writing the script is Charlie starring Dulquer Salmaan directed by Martin Prakkat and it is his second association with Dulquer. It is very interesting to know that his last film was with Dulquer’s father Mammootty. So he had got the chance to write for both father and son two times in his career and now back to back chance as well.

The specialty of an Unni R script is that the dialogues are written in such a way that it will pierce the heart of the spectators and has many meanings. Many of them are short and crisp but powerful to the core. And it is the time for Unni to make it big for Dulquer Salmaan with Charlie which has already started filming.

Bala and Amrita Suresh issue is now the hot topic of discussion in online media pages and in social media circles. There was many versions of the news had come. At first the news came that Bala and amritha suresh is all set for a divorce and it really stunned the malayali people as they really don’t expect that from them. But few days later Amritha Suresh herself came out and said that there was nothing like an issue between them and all the news which speading was really fake ones and she pleaded to stop all this bull shits from spreading and destroying her peaceful family life.

But just after that Bala who was silent all through this issue came out and said to an online page that the divorce news was true and he is gearing up for moving forward with the divorce. Bala said that he had no one to blame for this and there are many reasons behind this decision which he does not want to made public. But now another version in this issue had come again from the wife Amritha Suresh herself as she said to an online page. Amrita Suresh said that there was no such problems between them which may lead to a divorce or permanent separation from each other.

Yes, ofcourse there are small problems between them which is very usual in every families and that will not lead to a divorce kind of issue as its magnitude was too small. And about the response of Bala regarding this issue Amritha Suresh said that he had said that way may be because of the anger and pain in that particular moment when he was asked about all of these specially when it is his private matter which concerns his own family life.

Amritha Suresh said that they both will talk about all these problems and will sort it out all of them of their own and there is no case of divorce coming in to this. For last few months Bala is busy with shooting schedules and they can’t be able to see each other. She said that they met yesterday and talked about this. She said she will never encourage a divorce and that view is not in her mind at all.

Dulquer Salmaan- Martin Prakkat film titled Charlie

Young star Dulquer Salmaan is on a high after all the appreciation he has got from media and celebrities for his show of skill in the Kollywood film OK kanmani made by Mani Ratnam the master director. Even though his much awaited mollywood film 100 days of love which was released in this march was not reached up to the expected level of success. But his next release OK Kanmani had really gave him a good fortune as a star and specially a romantic star in south Indian film industry. When come to romance it seems that Dulquer Salmaan is more natural than any of the young heroes today in Mollywood.

Now one of his latest flick which started its shooting is also a romantic flick and the movie is directing by Martin Prakkat who had given him the success named ABCD in 2013 and his first film was Best actor with Mammootty in the lead which is also a success. The film is titles as Charlie. Aparnna Gopinath who played Dulquer Salman’s heroine in the film ABCD will play an important character in this film as well and it is no coincidence that Aparnna is working with Dulquer again after ABCD in the same director’s next film with Dulquer Salman who has directed ABCD.

This will be Martin prakkat’s next flick after ABCD and the film is financed by the director himself along with actor Joju George and Shebin Bucker under the banner of Finding Cinemas which was started two years back. It will be Joju’s first venture as a producer as well. This film will have actors like Neeraj Madhav, Joju George who is the financer of the flick as well, Chemban Vinod Jose etc and the story of the film is written by R Unni after he wrote Munnariyippu. Script will be done by Martin Prakkat in association with Unni R and Gopi Sundar will create the music for the lyrics penned down by Santhosh Varma and Rafeeq ahammad.

Popular cinematographer Jomon T john is the DOP of the flick and the main locations where the shoot of the film is scheduled is Kochi, Gujarath, Moonnar etc as per reports and Mammootty’s play house release will distribute this flick in the theaters near you.
