Nirnnyakam, it has been one of the most awaited flicks of this year for many reasons. First of all it is VK Prakash directorial film and he is one f the best directors in Kerala who has a unique way of making films and people loves his films which always gives us something new and different from the rest. The next thing that the writers of this flick is none other than the most followed script writing duo in Kerala, the duo had won many recognitions for their works and moreover for malayaless they are the best in the business now and it is Bobby and Sanjay.

Bobby and Sanjay is teaming up for the first time with V K Prakash and it will be really an interesting combination as the best screen writers in Kerala joining hands with one of the most different, experienced and talented directors in Kerala. Young star Asif Ali is playing the male lead in this flick and it is for the first time that he is playing a character in a V K Praksah film and also working with Bobby and Sanjay in their script.

Actress Malavika Mohanan playing the female lead opposite Asif Ali in this flick which is touted as family film which has thrilling elements as well. According to the latest charting of films it will grace the screens all over Kerala on 29th of this month. The other main characters in this film is played by Siddique, Prem Prakash, Nedumudi Venu, Praksh Bare, Sudheer Karamana, Shankar Rama Krishnan, Mukundan, Saiju Kuruppu, Kunjan, Ashokan, Sreedevi Unni, Lena, Sanusha Santhosh etc.

The trailer of the flick has released on YouTube the other day and it has been receiving great opinions from the social media circles and film lovers and that itself had raised the level of expectation than the normal level. People think that it will be something of a kind of turning point in Asif Ali’s career and will be a class one with entertaining elements like all Bobby and Sanjay written scripts. Mysore, Kochi, National defense academy etc were the main locations of the film.

Mohanlal and Joshiy team’s much awaited big budget flick Laila O Laila had hit the screens all over India on May 14 th Thursday this year and the film had opened to a mixed bag of reviews from the public. There is a lot of people who liked the flick and there are ones which said that it has not raised up to the expectations. But it seems that majority had liked it and that is what the collection report from the first two days says to us. There were Houseful shows everywhere even in the heavy rain and in multiplexes the film had all set to mark new records in advance booking status. Even in big theaters like Ernakulam Kavitha the film is running in packed houses even after getting mixed word of mouth. The collection report we got from the trustable source says that in the first day the film had collected 1.45 crores from Kerala.

The first day collection was rupees 1.45 crore and it was one of the highest first day collection in this year’s mollywood box-office. On the second day the collection dropped a bit but sources says that it still crossed rupees 1 crore mark and that is really a great one for a film that got mixed word of mouth. And also Friday has other releases as well. Saturday and Sunday seems to be great for Laila o Laila as the houseful shows are still reporting from all main centers.

The great sign for the film is that family audience are pouring in for the film after the first two days as many reviews are out which said that even though the film is action oriented it has family and comic element too to satisfy the family spectators. The film is primarily for the fans of Mohanlal and Mohanlal is delivered this time as well for them. He is the main attraction of the film and his power packed action performance was really giving a boost to the flick in box office.

It seems that our producers were going behind Mohanlal as his mere presence can make a film profitable even after getting negative reviews. Films like Mr.Fraud, Peruchazhi etc were the examples of that which was at last become profitable for the makers even after getting mixed word of mouth mostly on the negative side.

Learning my lessons from the failures says Fahadh Faasil

Fahadh Faasil is focused now and all set to give us some terrific cinematic experience for which he is famous right from the beginning of his comeback to mollywood and that is how he had become one of the most popular young actors in our Industry in such a limited time of his second life in the industry. A series of flops were waiting for Fahadh Faasil after and just before the mega blockbuster named Bangalore Days.

Fahadh had a very lean patch as far as the commercial scheme of things concerned in the last year and in the beginning of this year. His films like God’s Own Country, Money Ratnam, Iyyobinbte Pusthakam, Mariyam Mukku, Haram etc were eated dust at box office in the 2014-2015 season and now after a short break Fahadh Faasil is all set to be back strongly with some different as well as hopeful projects.

Vineeth Kumar directorial film Ayal Njanalla will be one among those films and the story of the film is written by writer and director Ranjith that itself makes it a hopeful one for film lovers and Fahadh Faasil. And there has been lot of rumours that tells that Fahadh Faasil said good bye to cinema after some failures and he had went to America leaving Kerala after returning back the advances of some films which he had planned to do etc. Fahadh had answer for all of this.

Fahadh said that it is right that he had went America but it is for the honeymoon with his wife Nazriya Nazim and he had given back he advances of certain films which he had committed earlier because of the failure to complete the script and starting of shoot in the correct and intended time. He told that failures had taught him a lot about cinema and he said that he had a responsibility towards the audience who believes in him by coming and watching his films. So he have to fulfill that responsibility but that will not be at the cost of his private life and his time with his family.

Fahadh Faasil also hinted that his wife Nazriya Nazim may come back to her acting career in the near future.

Neena, the name itself is a unique one which attracts the attention of the audience and director Lal Jose is a master at creating that kind of attention for each and every films done by him. And in his latest offer to Mollywood film lovers he really done the same we just told above. NeeNa is the film which had become an anticipated one only after the release of its teaser and trailer which was some kind of special and give us a feeling of something special and class is coming our way. The screen writer of this film is R venugopal and Dop was done by the popular Jomon T john. Biji pal is the one who composed the back ground music and a debutant named Nikhil J Menon had composed the songs for this film which hit the screens today.

The story of this flick revolves around mainly three characters named Neena Nalini and Vinay Panicker giving equal space to all of them. The male lead Vinay Panicker who is a branch head of an advertising firm is married and his wife’s name is Nalini. He is very much involved in his family life and for him his family comes first. That time a girl named Neena comes to his life who is more like boy than girl in her attitude and behavior. A relation grows between Vinay Panicker and Neena and the story tells how this event influences the family life of Vinay and his wife Nalini’s mindset, later how Nalini moves forward during this time, then how Neena responds in such a situation and how this conflict resolves. The female lead and the title character named Neena is played by debutant Deepti Sati and Nalini is played by Aan Augustine. Vinay Panicker’s role is essayed by Vijay Babu and each of them done a great job.

The film really explores the human behavior and how his or her mind works in different situation and Lal Jose really succeeded in saying that it is our human that is more complicated than the world around us. Our mind that is making the world complicated. He really narrated superbly the inner minds of Neena and Nalini and also of Vinay Panicker who stand between these two. Neena and Nalini are representing two extremes of attitudes and mindsets and the script writer and director had really done a great job in bringing these extremes together and tell the story in such a way that it really strikes the thoughts of the audience.

The technical brilliance is also made the film a great and classy one with terrific visuals of Jomon T John who really blended the dark and gray shades to create the ambiance of the film and make the audience to feel that they are in that world of these characters. Back ground scoring by Biji Pal and Nikhl J Menon’s music also stands out and it will be an experience for us to go through the minds of humans and it was a kind of journey through souls. It may not be a film for the ones pinning for a masala entertainer. It is for those who wants to films which has souls and make you think about our life after seeing it.
