Lailaa O Lailaa Review
Lailaa O Lailaa was without doubt the eagerly waited film this season and it had graced the screen today all over India. The film is said to be an action thriller with Mohanlal and Amala Paul in the lead roles along with Kollywood actor Sathyaraj and Bollywood actor Rahul Dev doing important characters as well. And above all this flick is written by the famous and much appreciated screen writer from Bollywood and who happened to be a Malayali as well named Suresh Nair. The Director of Photography of this film is Lokanathan and Shyam Sasidharan did the cuts for the flick. National award winner Gopi Sundar had managed the music and background scoring section.
Now about the plot of the flick and it really turned out to be a different one from what we are expected from pre-release stories. The film is about the life of an Intelligence agent named Jaya Mohan who is known as Jai among his fellow men and his wife Anjali who marries him without knowing the fact that he is an agent of the Indian anti-terrorist secret wing. Jaya Mohan tries his best to conceal it from his wife as it have to be kept as a secret as per the rules of the squad. But a case regarding a terror attack and the investigation behind it leads to the situation that Anjali happened to know who Jaya Mohan actually is and she recognizes that he is not the executive in the export company as he told her. Later some interesting turn of events happens in their life and Anjali also have to be a part of Jai’s team to defeat the plots of a terror group.
Joshiy after a series of setbacks tried his best to set it right this time. Even though it had not that successful but he did it partially good. Joshiy’s direction was not up to the standards like we saw it in his earlier hits with Mohanlal and the technical parts such as editing and camera was also not up to the expected level. But the only highlight was The Complete actor Mohanlal who really given a superb show as Jai Mohan and Amala Paul was not really did well as Anjali.
The film has romance and comedy and not just a thriller alone. The first half of the film goes forward in a medium pace with lot of romantic and comedy numbers which only Mohanlal can pull off in Mollywood with his own unique charismatic way. The action sequences by Stun Siva was breath taking at many parts. Mohanlal given his all in those scenes and it was terrific to watch as well. The bgm by Gopi Sundar is just ended up an average one and it don’t really helped the film to switch from different moods of comedy, romance and thriller.
The film does not have a much big twist in the tail part and in the first half it is more like romantic comedy. That may be also a negative some may found who expects an out and out action thriller. Suresh Nair’s screenplay was engaging but not satisfying and it never really provided much scope for Mohanlal as an actor. Lailaa o Lailaa was a average entertainer and for the fans it will worth a watch and even you will not be disappointed after watching this complete actor Show as Mohanlal this time as well fighting alone with his supreme skills to overcome the negatives of a flawed direction and average screenplay.

Chiranjeevi’s 150 th film to Puri Jagannadh
Yes it’s been trending in twitter, online medias and other social networking sites too. It is the news of the 150 th film of Mega star Chiranjeevi and what makes it all the more exciting for his fans and film lovers is that it will be conceived by none other than director of blockbusters in Telugu film industry Mr. Puri Jagannadh. The preparation for the launch of this much awaited magnum opus flick is already begun and fans of the mega star is so much excited that they had made it a trending topic in Twitter as well. Because they are waiting for a film of their favourite hero for quite a long time and he is going to be back with a bang with one of the best directors in South India much to the joy of the fans of the Mega star.
According to reports the title of this flick will be Auto Johny and it will launch on August 22 this year and the shoot will begin on the first week of September and it is said to be on 2nd September precisely as well. Above all the day August 22 will be the Birthday of Chiranjeevi whose fans calls him fondly and with respect as Annayya. And the film will hit the screens all over the world on Sankranthi day in 2016. And the title of the film is not yet confirmed as we had gave you the rumoured one among the fans and film circles.
Puri Jagannadh had given many blockbuster hits in South Indian languages and the most popular one among his films is Pokkiri which was remade to kollywood and Bollywood later which are also record breaking successes there. His recent film which was released was named Temper. Chiranjeevi’s last film in which he appeared as a hero was Shankar Dada Zindabad which was released way back in 2007 and that was the remake of the Bollywood film named Lagey Raho Munna Bhai, the Raj Kumar Hirani flick.
Later he had done a film in 2009 and Chiranjeevi had appeared in a cameo role in that film named Magadheera as Mega star Chiranjeevi as he came in it as a dance master cameo performance. Puri Jaganadh’s coming flick will be his first collaboration with Chiranjeevi and it is going to be something big and we mean it.
Nale Ravile all set to go on floors
Nale Ravile is an upcoming project in Mollywood which will be conceived by none other than Roshan Andrews who is considered as one of the finest directors of Mollywood who came in the 21st century. This will be his next mollywood film after the 2014 box office success named How Old Are You which also marked the grand comeback of actress Manju Warrier to the silver screens after a long gap. In this flick named Nale Ravile Prithviraj will play the male lead character and Nyla Usha will play the female lead character. The screen writing for this film will be done by the state award winners and the most popular script writing duo in mollywood Boby Sanjay
This will mark the coming together of Prithviraj and Nyla Usha for the first time and also it will be reunion of the Roshan Andrews- Prithviraj- Bobby and Sanjay combination after the highly successful film named Mumbai Police. Roshan Andrews earlier said that this is a dream project of him and he was working on this from the past 10 years and he also told that this will be a film which has some wonders in it. Roshan told that the main plot of the film centers around the wonders that is happening in the life of a person. At the same time this will be a full -fledged love story as well. Prithviraj will come in a very different get up for the character of this film.
Roshan Andrews will begin the work of this just after completing the works of the kollywood version of his film How Old Are You which is titled in Tamil as 36 Vayathinilein which Jyothika is marking her return to silver screen as Manju Warrier did in Mollywood. Roshan Andrews claimed that this will be one of the different ventures in his whole career and audience will feel it too after watching Nale Ravile.
Reports says that the filming will start in July as of now and it will be produced by A V Anoop under his banner of AVA Productions. Divakar will be the director of photography of this flick.

Mollywood does not giving importance to variety, says Urvashi
Urvashi is an actress who does not need any introduction before malayalees and she is been one of the best ever actress who graced the screens of south Indian films specially in Malayalam. Mollywood film lovers still love her characters keeping it close to their heart as she had given her life to those characters with flowing easiness and amazing naturality. She has acted along with almost all the super stars in Mollywood as well as Kollywood and once was the most sought after heroine in mollywood. Recently she had been in lot of controversies regarding her personal life and all that but she still possess a space in the heart of Malayalam film lovers. Now after a shot lay off Urvashi is back again as heroine and that as the heroine of universal Hero Kamal Haasan in Uttama Villain. The film is getting great response from the critics as well as common audience and Urvashi’s character named Varalakshmi is getting great applause.
Recently in an interview to a leading online page named Manorama Online urvashi opened her mind about her career and mollywood cinema. She said that she had done films with Kamal Haasan before as well but that was roles which favours the comedy flavor. But the character named Varalakshmi in Uttama Villain had negative shade and it was a welcome change for her as well. Urvashi said that in tamil cinema she gets variety roles and mollywood now-a-says shown no variety in films as they revolves around a same pattern of stories which suits super stars like Mohanlal and Mammootty. Both of them are terrific actors but what can they do if they don’t get variety and meaty characters to play. We are wasting their talents by making them play stereotype characters.
Urvashi said that it has been four years since she had done a Malayalam film and during that period she had done some good roles in Tamil and Telugu and two films coming soon in those languages which are comedy and suspense thriller respectively. She also said that she was not acting in Malayalam not only because she is not getting variety roles but also due to the dates as Malayalam cinema wants 40-45 days continuous shoot and on the contrary Tamil films needs 4-5 days here and there. So she can adjust with her motherly duty more efficiently when acting in Kollywood films which gives her more time for family matters.

There were many news spread regarding the issues that happened between Dileep and Manju Warrier which said that it was Kavya Madhavan who was the reason for the problems in Dileep- ManjuWarrier couple’s family life. When Kavya Madhavan was divorced from her husband Nishal Chandra it was said that in the media that Dileep was the reason for their family problems as well.
Dileep and Kavya madhavan had shared great friendship as they had acted together in many flicks which are super hits and regarded as one of the best hero-heroine pair in mollywood after most popular pair of Mohanlal and Shobhana in Mollywood. But dileep in that interview with Vanitha magazine said that it was not Kavya madhavan who caused the issue between him and his wife Manju. If that was the case they would have sort it out very easily by talking to each other as Manju was his best friend in life as well.
But the problem was something else and some others entered into their life with their opinion and they had really made the issue blown out of proportion and at last it ended in the way it is now. He said that it was a shock to be separated from Manju Warrier and now he is adapting to the fact that she is not in his life anymore. Dileep also thanked his fans who are very supportive in this difficult situation and who cared not to bother him with too many questions.
