Vishal and Sarath Kumar’s daughter to get married soon?

0

There is an ongoing rumour that the actor Vishal is all set to say goodbye to his bachelorhood. According to the latest reports, Vishal may tie the knot with Sarath Kumar’s daughter Varalaxmi.  There were speculations that Vishal and Varalaxmi are in a relationship. We cannot confirm anything at this point, as both sides have not addressed the rumor.

The rumour was triggered by Vishal’s comments in an interview to a magazine. Vishal was asked about Varalaxmi and he replied that Varalaxmi is an inestimable treasure to him.  It is to be noted that there is a mild tension between Vishal and Sarath Kumar. The friction between the two began with the Nadigar controversy.  Vishal found himself in a controversy after being accused of insulting the Nadigar Sangam while addressing the Vishwaroopam situation.  Many members of the Sangam including the president Sarath Kumar were upset with Vishal. He threatened to expel him from the Sangam if he continues to make such comments.

However, Vishal responded to the controversy and said that he has not affronted the members of the Sangam and that he is startled by the reaction of Sarath Kumar. Vishal claimed that a member of Nadigar Sangam even called him dog.  However, they have reached to a settlement after Vishal submitted a written statement to the association where he explained that he had no intentions to affront the Sangam. But, it is widely considered that the incident has left a bad taste in the mouths of Vishal and Sarath Kumar. It remains to be seen whether the issue will have any impact on the marriage.

Vishal Krishna is the son of G.K. Reddy and Janaki Devi and hails from Chennai. His father had financed several Tamil and Telugu movies. Vishal’s brother Vikram also works in the film industry as the producer.   He also has tried his hand at acting under the name of Ajay. Vishal made his acting debut in the movie Chellame and his talent was soon recognized. He is one of the busiest actors in Tamil film industry now. Varalaxmi is the daughter of Sarath Kumar and his first wife Chaya. She followed the footsteps of his father and made her entry into the film industry through the movie Podaa Podi. She has managed to impress everyone with her excellent performance.  If the rumour of their marriage is true, another celebrity wedding is in store for the Tamil fans.

It is a well-known fact that Fahadh made his entry into the movies through Kayyethum Doorathu, which was directed by his father Fazil. Though the movie was much hyped, the movie collapsed at box office and received negative reviews from the critics. Fahadh made the decision to go abroad for his post graduation. He came back to India after completing his post graduation and he wanted to try his luck in movies once again.

Lal Jose said that Fahadh approached him and expressed his desire to work with him as an assistant director. Lal Jose noted that he had a feeling that Fahadh is good enough to become an actor and therefore, he decided to cast him as the protagonist in his next movie Mother India.Lal Jose revealed that he negotiated with several producers for the project but no one was willing to cast Fahadh in the lead role.  This had forced Lal Jose to put the project on hold.

However, Fahadh Faasil obtained a breakthrough with the movie Chaapa Kurishu where he played one of the two protagonists alongside Vineeth Sreenivasan.  The movie was an analysis of how the abuse of modern techniques such as MMS and other applications can ruin your life. The movie was a huge success and Fahadh surprised everyone with his amazing performance in the movie.  His performance was a substantiation of his superb acting skills. Naturally, his stock in the industry saw a steep increase and he soon became one of the hottest names in the industry.  Lal Jose remarked that he could no longer proceed with Mother India since the movie also dealt with the subject of MMS and hence, the project was nixed. Lal Jose divulged that Fahadh Faasil was the key reason for the establishment of his production house L.J.films so that he will be able to provide the newcomers with ample opportunities.

0

Drishyam film fame, actress Ansiba Hassan is in a mood to react against the allegations which is thrown against her by some people. Some online medias criticized her for she doing glamorous roles and also there are some photos which had spread in online medias, which claims to be her bikini photos. So Ansiba had come out to speak the truth behind all this and tell her version of things in this matter.

She said that she did not intend to do any glamorous roles in the future and she never did it intentionally. It was a Tamil film she did before she had done Drishyam and at that time she had no knowledge of how she would appear on the screen by putting on certain kind of dresses. When they gave her some kind of dress to wear, she did it. But only after it came n the screen, she understood that it was not looking very Good. But when she become popular through the film Drishyam, some people searched out those old photos and began to attack her with it through online medias saying that Ansiba Hasan started doing glamorous roles for more and more popularity.

She also said about the bikini photo issue that she never used such a cloth in her life time. That photos which got viral saying that it was Ansiba’s bikini photos was that of a Tamil actress named Varsha. But some online medias spread it without checking its authenticity. Ansiba told about the people who makes bad comments and abuses her in Social medias like Facebook. She told that if those who are abusing her believes themselves as such good men, then why they are searching and seeing those kind of photos in such websites.

She says that she cannot do anything about what these kind of people says. It shows one’s culture.  The people who makes bad comments, abusive words etc have no better culture than the online medias who spreads fake news. She said at last that they are not even sparing the common people or common girls who had nothing to do with film industry. So an actress like her supposed to face these kind of issue and cannot do anything against them other than ignore it.

Mollywood’s disappointing movies of 2014

0

As we picked the best films of 2014 that got released in Mollywood, we have the duty to tell which is worst also according to our view. We are picking a few films here. There may be films worst than this. But we are picking films which had come out from very talented and experienced film makers/Actors, yet disappointed the viewers a big time. These films are the worst of 2014,in that that perspective…

1. Gangter
This was the most disappointing and worst film of 2014 in Mollywood. Directed by none other than Ashiq Abu and starred By mega star Mammootty, the film was a big let -down for fans as well as common audience and ended up as the biggest disaster in Mammootty’s career and in Mollywood history as well with only 14 days of total theatrical run.

2. Koothara
This was the second film directed by Sreenath rajendran after his much appreciated debut with ‘Second Show’. But Koothara with Bharath, Sunny Wayne and Tovino Thomas in lead roles was a very disappointing affair to say the least. Eventhough they Got Universal Mohanlal to play a cameo in the film, they failed miserably to utilize that golden opportunity they got creating a feeble character for the Complete actor.

3. Praise the lord
This was the film directed by Shibu gangadharan and starred by Mammootty. The film is based on the work of famous writer Zakkariya and people had high hopes on it as Zakariya’s work was a popular one. But the film failed to create the interest which the writer had created through his work and ended up as another disaster.

4. Samsaaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram
This was a total let down by Dulquer salmaan and from the director Balaji Mohan. They just tried to tell a fantasy story and it told in such a way that people went to deep sleep in theaters. The film was bilingual, and it released in Tamil also.

5. Tamaar Padaar
It was the directorial debut of promising script writer Dileesh nair and the lead role was played by Prithvi raj. People had great expectation on both of them and they gave  just a crap to say the least about the film.

6. Villali Veeran
It is high time for dileep to realize that the quality of his films are decreasing day-by-day or film-by-film. Villali veeran directed by debutant Sudheesh sanker has nothing to offer to the audience rather than some usual intolerable jokes and cliché situations.

7. Balyakala Sakhi
It was really a disappointment from the part of pramod payyannoor that he just not able to do justice to the greatest work of Vaikom Muhamad Basheer  and the film starred Mammootty in the lead ended up as an utter failure both critically and commercially.

8. Bhaiyya Bhaiyya
It is a johny antony film scripted by Benny p nayarambalam with Kunjacko boban and Biju menon in the lead. But the film has nothing in it apart from the desperate effort to try to cash in on the popularity of Kunjacko boban and Biju Menon pair.

9. Money Ratnam
It was the 100 th film of century films directed by debutant Santhosh and none other than Fahadh Faasil played the lead. People expected at-least a minimum guarantee film from Fahadh and a famous film house like century films. But the film ended up a failure in box office without making any noise at all.

10. Njangalude Veettile Athidhikal
This was a Sibi Malayail film. But people won’t believe it if they have not shown the title card. This was such a low quality film from the part of such a talented and experienced director like Sibi. Jayaram played the lead role in the film along with Priyamani and they can’t save it either.

11. Mathayi Kuzhappakkaran Alla
One of the worst  film in 2014. Aku Akbar who gave us films like Veruthe Oru Bhaarya is now testing our patience with films like Ulsaaha Committee and Mathayi Kuzhappakkaran Alla. Jayasurya played the lead in this film. Now a days Jayasurya has releases in every week and the quality is decreasing film-by-film. He had to be careful, otherwise the people’s trust on him to give them fresh films will be a sweet old memory for him very soon.

12. Aamayum Muyalum
It was indeed  a Big disappointment. Because it was a Priyadarshan film. Priyan is arguably the best director in India with great amount of experience and amazing talent. But he seems to be a shadow of himself in Aamayum Muyalum and the film never raised to the expectation of people as they waited for it eagerly.

Master director K Balachander Passed away

0

It is indeed a very disappointing news to the Indian film industry as veteran filmmaker K. Balachander passed away yesterday due to prolonged illness of old age. He had a long career as a film personality. He started as a screen writer and later become a director in 1965 and he made his debut with Neer Kumizhi as a director. He had completed 45 years in Tamil cinema and Indian film industry as a whole and influenced the film making style of Tamil cinema more than anyone of his contemporaries.

His films are usually focused on complicated relationships and social themes rather than aiming on the usual Tamil Masala type of themes. He had been honored by the Tamilnaadu state government and Indian government many times with honours like Kalaimamani, Padma Shri, the most prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award and ANR National Award. It was he who was the greatest support and can be called a mentor of Indian cinema’s and Tamil cinema’s greatest superstars Ulaka Naayakan Kamal Haasan and Super star Rajnikanth. Without Balachander both Rajni and Kamal would not have reach to the level where they are reached now. He was Such a great director ruled for more than four decades. He was at his best when it comes to relationship kind of movies And He gave movies in different genres and his subjects includes friendship, love, family etc and many more.

Balachander was famous for his different film-making style and the Indian film industry knew him as a master of unusual themes and hard-hitting subject matters of contemporary time. Balachander as a film personality, had contributed almost 100 feature films either as a script writer or as a director and thus becoming one of the most prolific film-makers in India. He is popular among his collegues as a tough task master and apart from Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan ,he was credited with having nurtured numerous actors like Nagesh, Sujatha, , Chiranjeevi, Jayaprada, Jayasudha, Saritha, Prakash Raj and Vivek etc.

He also made success in Bollywood with his film ‘Ek duje ke liye’ with kamal hasan in the lead. The film also got great critical appreciation. He had produced film in Malayalam too with Mohanlal and Mammootty in the lead. The last film he directed was ‘Poi’ which got released in 2006.
