Muttathekombile: Here’s a new song from Oru Yamandan Premakadha

Dulquer Salmaan’s comeback movie ‘Oru Yamandan Premakadha’ (OYP) is all set to hit screens this Thursday (April 25). As informed earlier, first video song from the movie has just been released. The song titled ‘Muttathekombile’ is written by
Santhosh Varma and composed by Nadirshah. Jassy Gift, Benny Dayaal, Ziya Ul Haq and Suraaj have rendered this fun track.

OYP directed by debutant BC Noufal and scripted by Vishnu Unnikrishnan-Bibin George duo is touted to be a fun filled mass entertainer. The movie has a big cast which includes two female leads in Nikhila Vimal and Samyuktha Menon. Dileesh Pothan, Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Bibin George, Arun Kurian, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Baiju Santhosh, Renji Panicker, Hareesh Kanaran, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Salim Kumar and Soubin Shahir will be seen in supporting roles.

OYP was recently censored with a clean U certificate. As per the makers, the movie is a clean fun entertainer that can be enjoyed by audience of all groups

The event has been planned to be held at IBN Battutta Mall in Dubai. Director BC Noufal, producer Anto Joseph, Nadirshah, Dharamajan, Samyuktha Menon, Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Bibin George will be attending the audio launch.

Prithviraj and Unni Mukundan wrap up their portions for Pathinettam Padi

Actor-writer Shankar Ramakrishnan’s directorial debut ‘Pathinettam Padi’ recently got wrapped up. The movie starring a bunch of newcomers in the lead has some big star presence as well. Megastar Mammootty is playing an extended cameo role in the movie. Prithviraj and Unni Mukundan will also be seen in guest appearances. The latter two shot together for their portions only recently.

The lead cast of ‘Pathinettam Padi’ comprises of teenage actors from all 14 districts of the state. Mammootty plays a character named John Abraham Palackal and he sports a new look in the movie. It is said to be a very prominent character that takes the story forward. Priya Anand, Saniya Iyappan, Ahaana Krishna, Maala Parvathy, Biju Sopanam and many others are also part of the supporting cast.

The technical side of ‘Pathinettam Padi’ mostly comprises of newcomers. Cinematography is handled by Sudeep Elamon while music is done by KH Kaashif. Bhuvan Sreenivas is the editor. August Cinema is producing the movie.

After ‘Kammattipaadam’, P Balachandran to script Tovino’s next

Tovino Thomas is currently on a signing spree as he already has a handful of projects lined up. It seems like he has now confirmed one more. Actor-writer P Balachandran is scripting the film, which has been titled as ‘Edakkad Battalion 06’. Swapnesh K Nair, a former associate of Omar Lulu, will be making his directorial debut with this film.

P Balachandran has earlier scripted acclaimed films like ‘Ulladakkam’, ‘Pavithram’, ‘Agnidevan’ and ‘Punaradhivasam’. He last penned the Rajeev Ravi directorial ‘Kammattipaadam’. Details regarding the genre of his upcoming movie with Tovino Thomas have not yet been revealed. Samyuktha Menon, who has previously acted with Tovino in ‘Theevandi’, has been signed as the female lead.

Sreekanth Bhasi, Thomas Joseph Pattathanam and Jayant Mammen are coming together to produce the movie under the banner of Ruby Films. Official announcement with details comprising the entire cast and crew is expected to be made very shortly.

The censoring of ‘Oru Yamandan Premakadha’ (OYP) was done recently and as expected, the movie has got a clean U certificate. Now, the movie is confirmed to hit screens on April 25. The movie which marks Dulquer Salmaan’s comeback to Malayalam after over a year is highly anticipated by the audience. Debutant BC Noufal is directing the movie and is scripted by Vishnu Unnikrishnan-Bibin George duo.

The makers of OYP have planned to host a global audio launch event today (April 20) at IBN Battutta Mall in Dubai. Nadirshah, Samyuktha Menon, Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Bibin George will be attending the audio launch. The first video song from the movie will also be released online today.

OYP has Dulquer Salmaan playing Lallu, a local chap from the rural side of Kochi. The movie is said to be a romantic comedy with two female leads in Nikhila Vimal and Samyuktha Menon.
