Pulimurugan is running successfully all over Kerala with houseful shows. The movie has been busy rewriting collection records in Kerala Box Office.

Recently, Joby George, producer of Kasaba has found himself in midst of an unwanted controversy after his social media activity.

Joby George shared some of the trolls against Pulimurugan and a video which accuses music director Gopi Sunder of copying the theme song in his official Facebook page.

Mohanlal fans called this as pure professional jealousy and a purposeful act to degrade the movie.

Apparently this act of him did not go well with Mohanlal fans and they started trolling and abusing him on his official page.

Music director Gopi Sunder has updated a status that looks to be indirectly aimed at producer Joby George. He has posted that dogs keep barking, while tigers have no time for all that.

A section of the netizens have already started supporting Gopi Sunder calling it as a befitting reply.

Gopi Sunder’s work in Pulimurugan was hugely appreciated by the audience. The theme song “Muruga Muruga” is the latest sensation in Mollywood.

His background music totally elevated the scenes and helped in maintaining the mass mood of the movie.

Meanwhile, Pulimurugan is continuing its dream run even after three weeks of its release. Sources indicate that if Pulimurugan can continue its theatrical run with this same amazing response, it can even touch the 100 crore mark and become the first Malayalam movie to achieve that.

Singam is a popular franchise in Kollywood that has Suriya playing a forthright cop Durai Singam. Both the first part and the second part was commercial successful. Singam series is directed by popular filmmaker Hari.

The motion poster of Singam 3 was released today. The movie stars Anushka Shetty and Shruti Hassan as the two female leads.

Harris Jayaraj has replaced Devi Sri Prasad and will be composing music for this movie. Singam 3 is produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under the banner Studio Green and Aadnah Arts.

Teaser for the movie will be released on November 7th.

Vijay’s upcoming release Bairavaa’s teaser has been released. The teaser was originally scheduled to release on 12.00 AM but was released at around 10 PM.

It is a typical Tamil mass masala movie teaser. The major drawback here is there no novelty or freshness in the teaser.

Vijay just like his other similar movies is seen fighting, dancing and delivering lengthy punch dialogues to the villains.

Vijay’s previous movies like Theri and Kaththi had terrific teasers that totally uplifted the expectation levels. But Bairavaa lacks that X factor. It fails to leave that impact on the viewers mind.

Keerthy Suresh looks like the typical Tamil movie heroine who gets screen space only to woo the hero and to shake legs in the songs.

The 50 second teaser shows some of the song sequences that look colorful and glossy. There is also an usual “thiruvila” song shown in the teaser. It seems like there will be quite a lot of mass action sequences.

Santosh Narayanan’s background music sounded similar to some other works. But we cannot clearly tell about a musical piece in just 50 seconds.

Vijay’s wig looks very artificial and just does not suit him. But the actor who is known for his terrific screen presence tries to make up for that with his punches and kicks.

Pulimurugan becomes the 11th Industry Hit of Mohanlal, most by any actor in Mollywood

Pulimurugan had become the new industry hit in Mollywood as it had surpassed Drishyam record on its 16th day.

Mohanlal movie Drishyam had become the industry hit in 2013 and till this October, Drishyam remained at the top like a boss.

But Now, Pulimurugan became the fastest ever Mollywood movie to become an industry hit. This is the 11th Industry Hit in Mollywood in which Mohanlal played a part.

Thalavattam directed by Priyadarshan was the first Industry Hit of Mohanlal, which released in 1986. It had collected over 1 crore at that time.

The very next year, in 1987, Mohanlal’s Irupatham Noottandu had become an industry hit by grossing over 2 crore. It was the first movie to gross 2 crore + in Mollywood.

Then in 1988, Mohanlal movie Chithram became the first Malayalam movie to gross over 3 crore and became an industry hit.

Mohanlal again made history in 1991, as his movie Kilukkam had become the first Mollywood movie to gross over 5 crore in box office.

The collection record set by Kilukkam has been surpassed by Mohanlal movie Manichithra Thazhu in 1993.

In 1996, Mammootty’s Hitler surpassed that record and become the industry hit. But in 1997, Kunchacko Boban starrer Aniyathipravu had surpassed the record set by Hitler and in the same year Mohanlal’s Chandralekha had surpassed that record by Aniyathipravu.

Chandralekha was the first Mollywood movie to collect 10 crore + and in that same year, Mohanlal scored another record breaker as his Aaram Thamburan had surpassed Chandralekha.

In 2000, Narasimham was released which become the first movie to gross over 15 crore from Kerala and also become the first Malayalam movie to do a business over 20 crores.

In 2008, multi-starrer Twenty 20 came and become the first Malayalam movie to gross over 20 crores from Kerala alone.

In 2013, Drishyam came and become the first ever Mollywood movie to cross 30 and 40 crore mark in Kerala alone and also become the first Mollywood movie to gross 50 crore from worldwide run. It had got more than 66 crores from its worldwide run.

Now, Pulimurugan had made history this year surpassing Drishyam and will soon become the first ever Malayalam movie to gross over 50 crores from Kerala and may become the first 100 crore earning movie in Mollywood.

Reports have been doing the rounds about Mammootty doing with the Pulimurugan team of Udhayakrishna and Vysakh.

Writer Udhayakrishna has now confirmed that they are not planning to do a movie together anytime soon.

Photos of Udhayakrishna and Vysakh visiting Mammootty in the sets of The Great Father have been surfacing the social media pages.

This triggered news about about the blockbuster combo joining hands with Mammootty.

Director Vysakh has clarified that they went to the sets for a friendly visit and the reports about their new movie are baseless.

Vysakh made his directorial debut with Pokkiriraja starring Mammootty and Prithviraj in the lead. The movie was a blockbuster success. Pokkiriraja was produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam under his banner Mulakupadam films.

Udhayakrishna will be writing a script for a new movie starring Mammootty next year. This movie will be directed by Ajai Vasudev who earlier made his debut with Rajadhiraja.

Rajadhiraja was also co written by Udhayakrishna along with Sibi K Thomas.

Udhayakrishna will also be scripting a movie for Ajai Vasudev starring Janapriya Nayakan Dileep playing the lead role.

Mammootty meanwhile is busy shooting for The Great Father directed by debutant Haneef Adeni. This movie is produced by Prithviraj Sukumaran’s banner August Cinemas.

The actor also has some other interesting projects lined up. He will be doing Vamban, a mass entertainer directed by Ranjith. He has also signed for movies with directors like Shyam Dhar, Akhil Paul and Shafi.

Earlier another producer named Noushamd Muhammad, who produced Mammootty movie Thoppil Joppan, also shared troll posts against Mohanlal and social media attacked Noushad as well.

Support for Mohanlal is growing big and everybody is against those who trolls and insults him unnecessarily.
