Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary Bollywood actor was recently made the news headlines by winning his 4th best actor award in National film awards in India and thus become the actor who had won the most number of national awards for best actor beating Mammootty from Mollywood and Kamal Haasan from Kollywood. There are fair bit of controversies also came with that which said that Amitabh Bachchan was given this award due to the north Indian lobbying that influences National film awards from long years.

But Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is making news in social media and other popular medias now, as a rumor spreads regarding an even bigger honor that may be bestowed upon him. There are reports which says that Honorable Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi is making plans to nominate Amitabh Bachchan as the candidate for next president of India.

There are reports spreading in Medias regarding this situation. Rajya Sabha Member and Samajvadi Party leader Amar Singh had reportedly told a National media that our Honorable Prime Minister is seriously thinking about the name of Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, as the next Honorable President of India. Amar Singh said that it was he who had introduced Amitabh Bachchan personally to Narendra Modi, when Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Later Modi requested Amitabh Bachchan to be the brand ambassador of his state. That personal relationship had made Modi to think about this Presidential matter now, as per reports.

Amar Singh is very much close to Amitabh Bachchan and his family. So the words by him is getting great attention from political circles as well. We have to wait and see how things will pan out in the future. Amitabh Bachchan had not yet reacted to this rumor officially as well and some says that he is silent because the talks are going on between him and the Prime Minister.

Assembly election declared in Kerala and it will be the days of political campaigns from now on. Each and every single political parties here in our state had already started the election campaigns using whatever methods they have today. Social media also now become a powerful medium of political campaigns as it become very easy to spread what they want to say to the people through social media platforms like FaceBook and Whatsapp. It will to people quick and sometimes more effective than usual campaigns.

But there is fraud practices in this method as well. Because there is no authenticity in the news that coming through Online means as anyone can create any news and spread it using the name of any popular person. Latest in that list was actor Neeraj Madhav, whose name is used by some BJP activists to spread their propaganda through online means.

But Neeraj Madhav posted in his official Facebook page that the news coming in the name of his is a fake one. He not pledged any allegiance to any political party even though he respects every ideology. He respect all political parties and there is no intention to support any particular party. He had no intention to involve in political campaigns and other programs related election campaigns or something like that.

The news that came in using the name of him, which said he is supporting BJP in this coming elections is only an imaginative piece of work from someone, said Neeraj Madhav. He dismissed it and wants all of us to ignore it as well. Neeraj said that he is focusing only on his movie career and is happy and contented with that life.

This is not just about him. These kind of fake news spreading had come against many leading artists in the industry like Mohanlal, Mammootty etc as well. Not just BJP, but other main political party activists like UDF, LDF etc also done the same in social media as they used the name of popular figures to glorify their party and its ideologies.

Dulquer Salmaan starrer film Kali directed by Sameer Thahir and scripted by Rajesh Gopinath is running successfully. Even though started off with mixed reviews from all over, this film had made a fabulous start at box office. The film is a thriller mainly aimed at youth audience and it is doing what was really expected from it. Youngsters are really loving the treatment of the film and the background scoring from Gopi Sundar is giving a heavy punch for the film. The performance from Dulquer Salmaan, Chemban Vinod and Vinayakan also making the young audience to love it. Now, actor/writer/director Vineeth Sreenivasan come up praising the film through his Facebook post. According to him, Kali is a superb thriller and he really loved it.

He said that he had just came back from watching kali. For him it was a very good entertainer with some good performance from the actors in the film. Vineeth Sreenivasan says that he is a big fan of thriller films and this film Kali made him engrossed in it till the very end. He specially mentioned the sound design of the film as it was superb according to him. Vineeth also mentioned that Dulquer Salmaan and Chemban Vinod are the ones who stole the show. He also not forget to appreciate Sameer Thahir for his great work.

Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial film named Jacobinte Swargarajyam will hit the screens on this coming April 8. This Nivin Pauly starrer is a complete family entertainer and we have to wait and see whether Jacobinte Swargarajyam affects the run of Kali in theaters or not. Because Kali already showing drop in collection once the working days started after the weekend.

Apart from that Dileep starrer King Liar is coming from this April 2nd and later Jacobinte Swargarajyam as we said above. These two are films which will attract family audience and youngsters both as its themes are like that. So Kali’s run can be really affected by these movies if these ones got an above average response from common audience.

On 2nd April, films like Shavam, Un-Freedom and Papilio Budha will be screened. Shavam is directed by Don Palathara and Papilio Budha is directed by Jayan K Cherian. Theri, the upcoming Vijay film directed by Atlee is making news for the last few days. Its all about who will distribute the flick here in Kerala as the production team demands huge money as distribution rights. Because of the disaster Vijay had with his last release named Puli here and due to overall bad show of Tamil films in Kerala box office recently, many well-known distribution companies which usually takes the Tamil film distribution here in Kerala were reluctant to take up the distribution of Theri for a big amount.

From today morning a rumor began to spread that August Cinemas, which is working under the ownership of Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadeshan and Arya will take up the distribution of Theri. But now everything is cleared and it will be Friday Film House owned by Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas will distribute the film here in association with Carnival motion pictures Ltd.

The film will release on the 14th of April and it will be a big release just like all other Vijay films. Vijay had a great fan following here in Kerala and will get a large number of theaters here for sure. With Friday Film house distributing it, which has a great marketing and distributing network here in mollywood, Theri is expected to make merry at Kerala.

Friday Film house and Carnival motion pictures had together bought the distribution right of Theri for a whopping amount of 5.60 crores. They both had produced the film Adi Kapyare Koottamani together and planning the second part of the film as well. Their another production venture Muthugow, which is introducing Super Star Suresh Gopi’s son Gokul Suresh is all set for release also.

As per reports they are also producing a film with Mammootty in the lead, which will be directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. They are planning the second part of Aadu Oru Bheekara Jeeviayanu too with Jayasurya and Midhun Manuel Thomas who is now busy with his Sunny Wayne starrer.

Kalabhavan Mani’s premature death shocked all malayalees and it is still a painful memory. Many controversies later came in Medias regarding his death and the investigation is going on. But for his friends, they lost their brother like person or the one who always supports them in all matters. Popular actor Dileep said that with the death of Kalabhavan Mani, he lost his biggest strength. Dileep and Kalabhavan Mani were friends from the days they were doing mimicry programs and shares lot of great and fond memories together.

He said that when he saw the lifeless body of his dearest friend, he had lost all his strength and it was like a part of his soul had left him. Now, if the coming report is true, Dileep all set to give a great tribute to his friend Mani, by giving Kalabhavan Mani’s name to the theater complex he is going to build at Chalakudy, the birth place of Kalabhavan Mani.

Dileep recently said in an interview that he had plans to build a theater complex at Chalakudy and he had shared that dream with Mani. As per reports Mani also all set to co-operate with that project. Dileep said that Kalabhavan Mani had offered all his support for that project and the presence of Mani was a great relief for him as well. Because he can completely trust Kalabhavan Mani and he not have to worry about anything if Kalabhavan Mani was there with him.

Earlier Dileep had planned to name the theater complex as D-Cinemas. But as per reports, he is planning to give the name of his friend Kalabhavan Mani to the theater complex and it will be Kalabhavan Mani Cinemas once the project completed there. Dileep reportedly has plans to complete the project as soon as possible to give a great and touching tribute to his dearest friend who left this world.

The official confirmation of this report had not yet came, but the news about Dileep’s plans to build a theater complex at Chalakkudy is true and Mani was also all set to associate with it and unfortunately it did not happened that way.

Vijay film Theri to be distributed in Kerala by Prithviraj !

Theri is definitely the much awaited movie of this season not only in Kollywood, but also in Kerala as well. The film is all set to release on the coming April 14 all over as well. But there was a problem in its Kerala distribution that, nobody had bought the distribution rights of Theri for the price which the producer wants. Kalaipuli S Thanu is the producer of this film and he wanted an amount higher than 6 crores as distribution rights for Theri.

Because of the failure of Vijay’s last film Puli here and also due to the failures that is happening to Tamil cinema generally here in Mollywood. Nobody really came forward to buy the distribution rights of Theri for such a big amount. But now a report coming in that Mollywood’s Young Super Star Prithviraj’s own company August Cinemas had bought the rights of Theri and he will distribute the Vijay film here in Kerala. Even though it is not a confirmed news, the reports are coming in that both parties had a discussion last day and almost came to an agreement regarding the distribution rights.

If August cinemas had bought the rights of Theri, then there is a chance that they may release the upcoming Rajinikanth film Kabali as well. Because that film also produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu and in fact he wanted an amount close to 15 crore as distribution rights of both films together in Kerala. If the talks between August Cinemas and the producer comes to a fruitful ending, then there is all the chance that Prithviraj’s company will distribute the Super Star Rajinikanth film as well here, which is said to be releasing on this coming June.

Earlier Kabali is planned to release in this April. Later reports came that they had to reshoot some parts of the film for its perfection and also they had postponed the releasing date due to the upcoming elections in Tamil Nadu. Anyway the official confirmation of this news will come very soon and we will keep you updated once it comes.
