Cinema is not a one man show, says Nivin Pauly
Nivin Pauly, one of the most sought after young stars of Mollywood had come up with his first film after the big success he got through Premam last year. It is Action Hero Biju which was scripted and directed by Abrid Shine. The film had released on 5th February of this year and received good critical appreciation. Even though it had got a mixed audience response, the film said have made the producers safe with its box office collection. Nivin Pauly who is one of the producers of this film along with Abrid Shine and Shibu, says that Cinema is not a one man show at all.
Nivin Pauly said that films like Premam, Action Hero Biju etc was accepted by the audience because it was a collective effort. The film is not based on him and his performance alone. Each and every characters has their own identity and they had the space to give their performance in the film in a manner in which others will notice their talent. He never thinks that the film he is acting is al depended on him or the whole responsibility on his head alone.

Each and every actors and technicians has their own importance while making a film and making it a success. In Actin Hero Biju, many new faces had acted and got great appreciation as well. Even the character of Suraj Venjarammood who came only in 2 scenes got more applause from the audience than anyone who acted in that film in more scenes. That character by Suraj had helped the film a lot to get attention and to get the success it is receiving today.
Nivin Pauly also said that he does not put any criteria while selecting a script. If a story gives a spark which tells him that this is something new or it has something in it to make a film, then he will accept it. It may be a success or may be a failure. That not really concerns him as he had already made his decision to do it and then what he has to do is, stand by his decision.
