Protest against upcoming Dileep film named Professor Dinkan

The protest strangely coming from a group of people who calls themselves Dinkoists who said to be the followers of Dinkan, the popular comic character in Malayalam comics. They says that Dinkoism is now a religion for those who follows Dinkan and making fun film in the name of Dinkan is like hurting the emotions of Dinkoists. Dileep has a Restaurant in Ernakulam named Dhe Puttu and the Dinkoists came there with placards and staged their protest in front of the restaurant.

They formed an army named Mooshika Sena and created a Facebook page in the same name as well. They had trolled the film with funny posts and trolled Dileep as well. They said their aim is to protect Dinkan and Dinkoism. The thought of this funny ad strange protest had come from a group of people active in social Media and it is said that they are making this kind of a protest to ridicule and satirize the protests staged by different religious groups against different movies. We saw such example when the films like Vishwaroopam by Kamala Hasan and PK by Aamir Khan released. The comic character Dinkan was a popular comic hero in a comic book for children named Balamangalam.

Through this Dinkoism and dinkoist movement, this group is really slapping in the face of different religious groups for the immature and unhealthy attitude they shows in the society. The film Professor Dinkan will be a 3D film and will be directed by popular Cameraman named Ramachandra Babu. It’s his debut film as a director. Rafi is writing the script and Dileep is coming as a magician in this film. Magicial Gopinath Muthukad also acting in this film as per reports and the shoot will start very soon.

Anyway the protest from Dinkoists had taken as a perfect real life troll towards the religious groups and their unwanted protests in society. Mooshika Sena and Dinkoism is getting great attention and support from Social Media as well.

Young Super Star Prithviraj is now a days had become the darling of social media. He is stepping forward from one success to another and had created a trust among malayalees that he can do nothing wrong when it comes to films. People has the belief that if Prithviraj acts in a film then it will be good and there will be something new it for them.

But there was a time when people severely criticized him and found fault in whatever he does. The social media was attacking him at that time and it was like whatever he does ends up in getting criticism from the social media. Prithviraj reacts about social media’s attitude towards him then and now.

He says that when he see good things about him in social media now he feels very happy and he knows why they are supporting him now as well. It is because of the films, characters he selects to do. It is always good feeling when people supports you and that is the case with him as well. Earlier they attacked ne severely. But I still don’t know, what really was the reason behind all that criticism. A Portion from my TV Interview was used to insult or ridicule me. But if you see the full episode of that interview there is no problems in that. But it happened.
I had my own ways. I never regrets that.

I am not very active in social media circles. My official Facebook page is managed by a team and they are updating things through it with my knowledge. I Have a twitter account as well but am not very active in that as well. I don’t even use the phone for longer times. Most of my time is taking up by or rather I spent my most of the time to do things related to cinema and family. They comes first for me and all other things are only comes after that.
Anyway Prithviraj is now really like one who risen from ashes to the sky of stardom.

February is going to witness a flurry of release in Mollywood

2016 January does not had big releases and there are not many releases at all in January. The big films released in January was Prithviraj starrer flick Pavada by G Marthandan and Fahad Fazil film Monsoon Mangoes. Unni Mukundan starrer film Style by Binu S, Anoop Menon starrer Malgudi Days was other releases of January and some small films like Randu Pennkuttikal and critically appreciated Jalam released in this month as well. But February is going to be big for Mollywood as almost 5 films are getting ready to release in the first 2 weeks of the month.

The first one which will come in February was the big one Action Hero Biju starring Nivin Pauly and directed by Abrid Shine. It is a much anticipated film and coming to theater after postponing the release date couple of times. This will be the first release of Youngstar Nivin Pauly after the miraculous success of Premam. This will be the second association of Abrid Shine and Nivin Pauly after the movie 1983 as well. They are jointly produced the film. The songs of the film is already a hit. It will release on February 4th.

February 5th will witness the release of Fahad Fazil film named Maheshinte Prathikaram directed by debutant Dileesh Pothen. Ashiq Abu produced this film and Fahad is hoping for a success after long time in box office with this flick. On February 12th, Mammootty starrer flick Puthiya Niyamam will hit the screens. It was directed by A K Sajan and it is also coming after postponing the releasing dates a number of times before. Nayan Thara is the heroine of the film and it carries great hopes it as well.

As per reports, February 12th will see two more releases and they are AakashVani which has Kavya Madhavan and Vijay babu in the lead and Hello Namathe which has Bhavana, Miya George, Vinay Fort, Soubin Shaheer etc playing the lead roles. Both films were directed by debutant directors. So it will be a fantastic February for film lovers for sure.

Last Year we have seen many great film last in Indian cinema. There were big budget and small budget films. There were mass masala entertainers as well as class films. We have also seen some unexpected films coming from unexpected team as well. So which is your favorite movie released last year..? As per a survey report conducted among the people of India, by Ormax Media, the most like Indian film of last year was none other than the biggest Indian film made till now, Bahubali. As per the data collected by the media, Bahubali comes at the top.

The word of mouth data taken from the theater goers by Ormax Media, they found out that most people in India Liked Bahubali more than any films that released last year. They had taken the audience response for four weeks from the release of the films and considered also about how many people recommended a film to their friends. Bahubali wins 83% of positive response from people and came at the top in the survey. The other films that came below in the list of films was Bajrangi Bhaijaan (77), Bajirao Mastani (74), Drishyam (73), Tanu weds Manu (70), Baby (67), Piku (66) Talvar (65), Manjhi The mountain man (64), Gabbar is back (64), ABCD- anybody can dance (62), Prem Ratan Dhan payo (56), Welcome back (54) etc.

The interesting thing is that both movies at the top, Bahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan were scripted by Vijayendra Prasad and both now at the third and second spot at all-time best box office grosser list in Indian Cinema history. Bajrangi Bhaijaan was directed by Kabir Khan and starred by Salman Khan where as Bahubali is directed by SS Rajamouli and starred by Prabhas.

Bahubali is the only south Indian film make it in to the list and when it happened it decorated the top spot as well. Now, Bahubali 2 is filming at Kannur in Kerala and it will reach the screens by this year end. Anyway it is now the most anticipated movie in India as well.

We had already reported you the news about master director IV Sasi’s comeback to film making and we also told you all that Mohanlal is going to play the lead in that film. IV Sasi told that to media as well and he said that he want to do a film with Mohanlal in the lead before he ends his career. He said Devasuram is of the best he had done and he wants to make a film which stands above Devasuram this time when joins hands with Mohanlal. Later Mohanlal himself announced that he will be doing film with IV Sasi in the near future, when both were attended the State Award distribution function. The latest on this project says that Gokulam Gopalan will produce this Mohanlal-IV Sasi project under his banner of Gokulam movies.

Some more reports are coming about the film as well. As per reports IV Sasi said in a press meet in Riyad that Joshy Mangalathu will script this upcoming project and this will be a big budget project as well. Joshy Mangalathu is popular for his screenplay for the film named Ottal, directed by Jayaraj, which had won national acclaim and won lot of prestigious awards at Film festivals all over the world. It was selected as the best film IFFK as well this year.

IV Sasi is doing a film after 6 years of Gap and his previous film was Vellathooval which had Nithya Menon played the lead and released in 2009. I V Sasi said that other artists will only be decided after the screenplay get completed. There are reports that he is doing a 75 crore budget English film as well along with director/producer Sohan Roy and it is said to be based on Kuwait War.

Anyway the master director is all set to stage a grand comeback by roping in Mohanlal in to the movie and when Mohanlal gets in to the team, there is nothing more than that you can get from Mollywood in terms of class and mass. Hope that IV Sasi-Mohanlal team once again will give us a classic Mass entertainer like Devasuram.

An anthology film is coming this February and it will be something very big from Kollwood. The film is titled as Aviyal and it will feature films by directors like Alphonse Puthren, Yogesh, Mohit, Shameer , Guru and Karthik Subbaraj. As per reports Alphonse Puthren’s film will have Nivin Pauly playing the lead and it may be the short film they made some years back named as Eli.

Karthik Subbaraj is one of the most promising directors in Kollywood and his films like Pizza, Jigarthanda etc had won great critical and commercial acclaim. His upcoming movie is Iraivi and the trailer of the film already out and going viral all over social media as well. The news about this anthology film named Avial is said by Karthik Subbaraj himself through his official twitter account.

It will be a treat for us for sure as it joins together the finest Young film makers of kollywood anmd Alphonse Puthren from Mollywood. Premam and Neram had given great reach for Alphonse Puthren there in Tamil Nadu as well.
