Kunchacko Boban and Amala Paul in Boban Samuel film

Popular director Boban Samuel is all set to come up with a dual hero subject with some great cast list in his next flick. As per reports it will have Kunchacko Boban and Jayasurya playing the lead role and Aju Varghese will also play an important role. Super heroine Amala Paul is roped in to play the female lead in this film as well. The film will be financed by Ashiq Usman and scripted by Y V Rajesh. The DOP of the film will be by Vishnu Narayan and music will be composed by the sensational music director of Mollywood, Gopi Sundar.

This will be Boban Samuel’s 4th directorial venture. His first film was with Jayasurya, titled as Jana Priyan. It was a critical and commercial success. Then he came up with another super success in Mollywood named Romans which had Kunchacko Boban and Biju Menon team in the lead roles. His third film was again with Jayasurya in the lead named Happy Journey. Then there was a news heard that he is going to a film with Jayaram in the lead and the shoot will be entirely in Australia. But now there is no talking about the project and it is like they had dropped the project.

Jayasurya and Kunchacko Boban was all set to act together after Four Friends directed by Saji Surendran. It was a commercial failure sadly. Then there was news that they are going to share screen together in Rajesh Pillai directorial film named Vettah which had Manju Warrier in the lead role as well. But later Indrajith come in to the project replacing Jayasurya and its shooting is in the final stages. Now Jayasurya is going to work in a Boban Samuel film for the 3rd time and Kunchacko Boban is ready to work in his film for the second time.

Amala Paul’s last two releases in Mollywood were not commercial successes, as Mili and Laila O Laila failed in box office. But Mili had gave her a lot of critical appreciation.

Vedalam Collection Report : 25 crores from 2 days

Ajith starrer film Vedalam that released on Deewali directed by Siva had took an earth shattering start in Box office as per latest reports. The film which had got mixed reviews is getting heavy collections at box office despite bad weather condition in Tamil Nadu. In the first day itself it had raked in Rupees 15 crore+ from Tamil Nadu box office and set a new record in first day collections there beating Rajinikanth’s Linga (12.8 cr) and Vijay’s Kaththi (12.5 cr). And in second as well the flick had done great despite the heavy rains in Tamil Nadu, as the film had earned more than 10 crore rupees in its second day alone. That will make up the total to 25 crore+ rupees in just two days and that too from Tamil Nadu alone.

The screens are increased at many centers due to heavy rush and even outside the country screens increased due to heavy crowd. In Sri Lanka and UK, they had already increased the shows from today due to super rush at the screens. In overseas market Kamal Haasan’s Thoongavanam is doing slightly better than Vedalam. But in Indian market Vedalam seems to be going way ahead than Thoongavanam. Anyway both films are doing well that making Kollywood box office steady in this Deewali season. As per reports the distributors of the flick Vedhalam will get back their investment if the film continues its golden run throughout this weekend as well.

In reviews, Kamal Haasan’s Thoongavanam is better but in collections Vedalam seems to have taken the lead. The success of both of this film will be a sigh of relief for Kollywood as kollywood box office had witnessed more debacles this year than successes. Big stars failed at box office quite miserably. Suriya, Vijay, Vikram etc were tasted failure this year with their much hyped films and now hope is on Vedalam, Thoongavanam etc. Meanwhile small stars had tasted success there as well like Jayam Ravi, Vijay Sethupathy, Siva Karthikeyan, Vishal etc.

Hope is all around that Vedalam and Thoongavanam will bring back the Kollywood box office in to the right track.

Baahubali rejected from Indian Panorama section of IFFI

A shocking information that came last day, tells us that the magnum opus of Indian cinema named Baahubali directed by SS Rajamouli has been rejected from the list of Indian Panorama section which is selected to show in the International Film Festival of India. Even a single Telugu film was not selected to the list of Indian Panorama and this rejection of Telugu cinema now became a usual incident as well. The International Film Festival of Indian will take place at Goa from 20th November to 30th November.

As per reports 6 Telugu films were submitted before the jury of Indian Panorama selection but not a single one seems worthy to impress jury members surprisingly. The rejection of Baahubali is very surprising indeed as it is regarded as the most technically perfect film ever made in India and also one which can be matched even to the epic films from Hollywood in its making style.

The flick has been accepted by the audience whole heartedly and it had become one of the biggest success in Indian Cinema as well. But all that cannot help it to make into the list of Indian Panorama. Apart from SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali, Mahesh Babu starred film Srimanthudu also submitted for selection. It was a film that got great critical and commercial success there and regarded as one of the best in Mahesh Babu’s career as well. Still jury found it not worthy and rejected it as well.

Most number of films were selected from Bengali as 7 films were selected from Bengali language out of the 26 films that totally selected to the Indian Panorama list. From Hindi there is 5 film selected and from Malayalam there is 4 films as well. This was not the first time Telugu films gets rejected from Panorama Selection. Last year also same was the situation even after the jury of last time had two Telugu directors as well in it. This time also National award winning Telugu director Praveen Sathar was there in the jury but still a film from that state not found a place in the list.

Jury was strict about the aesthetic value and freshness of the theme while choosing films to Indian Panorama and that’s the reason stated for the rejection of Telugu films.

Mohanlal, who is for the past 30 odd years ruling the Malayalam cinema like an undisputed King. In star value, this mass has no rival here at all as each and every one wants to make a big budget film, they choose him as the male lead because he is the only one who can guarantee a profit and a crowd support beyond the expectation.

As an actor there is nothing to prove for him as he is unanimously regarded as the greatest and finest actor in our country or may be in other words he is the best when it comes to acting and our country does not had someone as finest as him in the past and not considering anyone as this perfect as him even now. Now the biggest star of Mollywood is all set to come up with the biggest film ever done by a Mollywood super star in Malayalam. It will be the film named Kama Mohitham directed by Harihar Das who is a popular photographer.

The story and screenplay of this film is written by popular literary figure in Kerala, Mr. C V Bala Krishnan. The film will have a budget around 40 crore rupees and till now the biggest film ever made in mollywood was Hariharan directorial Mammootty starrer film Pazhassi Raja, scripted by none other than M T Vasudevan Nair. As per reports Mohanlal will be playing dual role in this film which will be made in Malayalam as well as in Sanskrit. Along with Mohanlal many popular actors from Indian film industry become a part of this film. Art director of Bahubali, Mr. Manu Jagat will be the art director of this film. The scripting of this film is completed and they are preparing for some other pre-production works.

The film will tell the story of Sage Jajali who discards his body and enters in to the body of a land lord named Sagara Dathan to know about physical pleasures. Mohanlal is currently doing a big budget project named Puli Murugan. Then he will have other big films by Priya Darshan, S S Raja Mauli and films like Randamoozham etc as well in the coming years. From now on he will do a big budget film every year along with another films. Mohanlal is all set to create record and create history at the same time in Mollywood as he does always.

He said that he wants her to sing in her next film with Mohanlal in the lead. So he asked the Facebook followers of his to know about the little girl. At last he got the details about that little girl and today he is going to Wayanad to meet her and invite her to sing in his upcoming film.

Her name is Shahana and she is studying in RC HSS Chunda in Wayanad district of Kerala. She is known as the nightingale of her School as well. The video in which she is singing in her school had gone viral in social media platforms and had been getting great appreciation as well from all corners. Major Ravi come to know about her through this popular video and he was so much impressed by the singing of this little girl and right away decided to give her chance to sing in next film which will have none other than Mohanlal in the lead. To sing in a Mohanlal film is an opportunity which even the established Singers dreams in their career as the reach it can give is marvelous. If Shahana got ready to sing, then it will be great for her as well.

Popular Singer Vaikom Vijaya Lakshmi also got chance through the Facebook video of her singing which had gone viral and which was noticed by M Jayachandran, music director. Shahana had sung the song “Kathirunnu Kathirunnu..” from the super hit film Ennum Ninte Moideen in her school and that video went viral in Facebook and other social media Platforms.

Major Ravi had announced his next film which will be based on the 1971 war between India and Pakistan which include Bangladesh as well. Su Su Sudhi Valmeekam , the new film from Jayasurya-Renjith Shankar team is on its way and it will reach to you on the 20th of this month. Now the latest news coming which says that Jayasurya’s son Adwaith had turned an editor for this film. Is it really surprising..? Yes, the news is true. Today evening at 4 PM, the team behind the film will release the video edited by Adwaith Jayasurya. He had made his own version of the song sung by P Jayachandran.

The song starting with “Ente Janalarikil..” was used his Jayasurya’s son Adwaith to make his debut as an editor. Sridevi caused great financial loss to the film Puli, says producers

Vijay starrer flick Puli is again and again making news but sadly for all the wrong reasons. Earlier it was in the news for the raid happened prior to its release in the house of Vijay. Then it again came in news as it had received a serious setback in box office with complete negative reviews from all around. Its whopping 120 crore budget had made it a big flop in theaters and that made it again to the news headlines as it had turned out to be a great loss for distributors in Tamilnadu. They had approached Vijay to compensate the loss they had to suffer which is as per reports, a big 7.5 crores.

Then came the latest one regarding the remuneration of actress Sridevi who had played a key role in the film along with Vijay. She said that the financers of the film had cheated her by not giving the lakhs balance amount of her remuneration and she had filed a complaint against them as well in the Tamilnadu producers association. But now things had taken a different turn altogether as the financers of the film says that due to Sreedevi they had to suffer a great financial loss.

The financers of this film, PT Selva Kumar and Shibu Thameens says that it was Sreedevi who has to give money back to them. They said that her argument was not at all right. They said that they had given rupees 2.7 crore rupees to her including the service tax of 30 lakhs. But when the film is dubbed to Hindi and Telugu, her husband Boney Kapoor demanded more money from them as satellite rate of different languages and they had given 55 lakhs for Hindi version and 15 lakhs for Telugu version as well to her. As per her demand they also bring a costume designer from Hindi, named Maneesh Malhotra which cost them 50 lakhs and they also give 8 lakhs to the Hindi promoters of the film as per her demand.

They says that due to her they lost crores of rupees and even after all that she did not came to attend even the audio release of the film. Things had taken a turn now and everybody is waiting for the response of Sreedevi on this accusation of the financers of the film.
