Vijay’s Puli started the money hunt

Vijay’s coming film , which is directing by Chimbu Devan  was  making news from the very moment it has announced to public. First it was in the news for the cast list in which yesteryear actress Sridevi  has made her entry. Sridevi who had given lots of hits with Kamala Hassan and other stars years ago was came back to acting with English Vinglish in Bollywood and through this Vijay film she is now coming back to south Indian film.

Later the film made it into the news with the rumors about its title. At first there was rumors that it will be called Mareesan. Later rumours came along that it will be called Garuda. But at last it was in the news for its official announcement of title and it is titled as Puli. Now it is in the news again. The reports are coming in that Even before the official release of a first look of the film Puli, it is getting some great financial business much to the joy of Vijay, Chimbu Devan and their fans.

The producers of the film Selva Kumar and Shibu Thameens confirmed to the medias that Thenandal films has bought the north and south Arcot distribution rights of the film for a great amount. The fans of Vijay is very happy with the title of the film and they are now eagerly waiting for the first look of the film to come out. The film is still on the floors and the first look motion poster is expecting soon.

Thenandal films are high on the success of Pissasu and they grabbed the rights of a Vijay film to continue their good going.  Vijay is also on a high with his last release Kaththi had become a record breaking hit at box office and that also is one reason for the great demand  for Puli.The film will be a deepavali release as per the reports and it seems that Puli had started the money hunt right from the word go. Anyway the expectations are already touched sky high as every Vijay film usually does. Chimbudevan and team is ready to rock this time with Puli.

Director Shankar is known as the show man of Indian cinema and this time the show man is ready with another magical show, may be the biggest show in his career. Yes, as you all guessed, we are talking about I. The much awaited, much anticipated, the ultra- hyped film of the last five years is going to hit the silver screens across the world from the coming January 14th. It is a really exciting and some time irritating wait for the fans.

The film’s teaser and trailer had gone viral in YouTube and other social networking sites from the word go and now people chanting the film name like a mantra. That was the hype created by the film. Vikram is the hero of the film as you all know. Vikram popularly known as Chiyaan Vikram among his fans had given almost 3 years of his life and career for the making of this film and the dedication level of this actor is damn too high if we say the least. The film is financed by Ravichandran under his popular Banner of Aascar films and according to the reports, the film will hit all across the world at the same time in almost 25000 theaters. Unbelievable number of theaters for an Indian film, that too for a regional film.

The production house Aascar films had also made the arrangements to prevent the piracy collaborating with the Anti-Piracy cell. They said that there is no way that the film could be uploaded in Youtube or other pirated sites. They had taken all the precautions for it. They had also made arrangements for identifying people if one tries to record the film from the theaters. They told that by decoding the signals they can successfully identify the theater from where the piracy occurred and thereby can identify the person who had done it.

They are making so many precautions on the light of a recent incident in which Aamir khan starrer PK was uploaded in Facebook by some piracy sites. Anyway we all are very happy to hear about the strong measures against the piracy. The songs of the film has become chartbusters already and apart from Vikram, the film can boast of a good star cast including Amy Jackson, Upan Patel and aslo Malayalam super star Suresh Gopi.

Mollywood still have to wait for Fireman and Mili

The lovers of Malayalam films have wait more to see their favorite stars on screen. The gigantic release of Shanker-Vikram team’s upcoming movie I is said to be the reason behind the postponement of many Malayalam films. The release of I created an unsettling effect in Malayalam movie industry as expected. I is releasing in almost 225 theaters in Kerala alone and even a Mollywood super star’s film does not get that much number of theaters in Kerala. Recently the Rajani kanth film Lingaa got released in Kerala in almost 200 theaters and ended up as a disaster for the distributors. Still they are raising their hands up for Tamil movies and it is not at all helping the cause for Malayalam film industry.

According to the latest reports, some Malayalam movies including the highly anticipated Mammootty starrer Fireman directed by Deepu Karunakaran and Rajesh pillai directorial Mili which has Amala paul and Nivin pauly in the lead had postponed their releases and the reports suggests that it was due to the wide release of I in Kerala.Mega star Mammootty starrer Fireman was expected to release on January 9th earlier and now it had been reportedly postponed to January last week and the date of release is not officially declared till now.  Fireman, directed by Deepu Karunakaran was expected to release in last year Christmas season and it later postponed to January 9th. Now it had postponed again due to I release much to the disappointment of Mammootty fans.

Rajesh Pillai’s Mili was also expected to hit the screen on last year’s Christmas season and then postponed to January first week. And it had released that time. It was heard that it will release in January third week. But now the latest report says that the release is postponed again and the new date of release in is not declared till now officially.

There is also Other movies which were postponed from the earlier declared date of releases are Major Ravi’s Prithviraj starrer Picket 43 and Dileep’s  Ivan Maryada Raman. Picket 43 is expected to release on January 24 and Ivan Maryada Raman expected to release in this February. Mohanlal starrer Laila O Laila also postponed its release from January, but here it is not because of I though. It had a schedule to complete.

Ajith, who is known as Thala among his followers had some rare qualities and moral policies which other actors in the industry don’t have. Of course he is a simple and very down to earth person. He may be counted among the very few who is very down to earth and really a personified form of simplicity like Rajanikanth, Mohanlal etc. But the rare quality we mentioned above is his conscious decision to not act in any of the Commercials or advertisements and using his popularity for making money through advertisements and he says that he don’t want to influence anyone by using his popularity.

Not only that he also reluctant to participate in the media interviews or promotional events for his films. He always put forward his conditions before signing each of his films that he will not be there to promote the film through any Medias. When asked about this, he told that he is only an actor who gets paid for his performance in a film. That was his role in the making of a film. He acts the character they want him to and he gets his payment from the producer.

He also told that there is a chance that what he likes may be not a likable one for the audience and also what they likes may not be a likable one for him. So he did not want to tell his opinion about something or some product. He does not want to influence anyone’s opinion with his popularity.

He said that he had a fear that the value of his words may be lost if he came forward and try to influence people with his opinions. If we lose our money, we can earn it later. Just like that if there is a failure, we can wait for a success or we can try for a success later. But if one loses the trust of people who believes in him, it can’t get back. If each time people got disappointed believing his words, then there will be no value for his words in the future. If the film or any other product is good, people will enjoy it and will appreciate it. He don’t want to be the one who tries to influence them.

2014, An year to forget for Dileep

2014 was really an year to forget for popular actor Dileep. It was really a bad year for him as an actor also as an individual. He had to go through a lot of personal and family problems this year which is ended in a divorce case against his wife and actress Manju Warrier.  More than dileep as an actor, our online  medias and other medias  celebrated the turmoil in Dileep’s personal life and he had to come out through his Facebook page and tell that some people are purposefully trying to pull him down. Anyway when comes to his releases this year, he had only 3 releases in 2014.

Ring Master
First one was Ringmaster, directed by Rafi, whose first film after splitting up from Mecartin. Ringmaster was the vishu winner this year and the film was a good financial success. Thus he began 2014 on a good note. But he cannot be able to sustain that good start.

Avatharam
His second release this year, in which he came in an action mood. The film was directed by none other than Joshiey  and it was only an average success due to the loose scripting.

Villaliveeran
Villaliveeran directed by Debutant Sudheesh sanker was a disaster and the film does not had even an average script to boast of and the failure is sure to happen with those kind of craps.

The turmoil in personal life also seems to had taken a toll on Dileep’s mind. But now he ready to be back with a bang with some great projects lining up in 2015. The first one will be Maryada Raman, which is directed by debutant Suresh Divakar and it is a big budget film which will be a treat for the audience as the makers claims. Then dillep also had exciting projects like Chandrettan Evideyaa which will be directed by siddharth Bharathan and Life Of Josootty which will be helmed by none other than the director of the biggest success of Mollywood, Drishyam, Jeethu Joseph Himself. Dileep once again joins hands with Jeethu after their super successful first outing named My Boss.

Anyway Dileep is prepared to be back to his usual best with some eventful projects in his hands. We wish all the very best for the popular actor of Mollywood to have a great year ahead.

Fahadh Faasil 2014 Overview

2014, An year with personal happiness and professional sorrow for Fahadh.

Fahadh faasil cannot forget this year 2014 which gave him him a special moment which he can cherish all his life. Because this was the year in which he married to Nazriya Nazim, which was  celebrated by Malayalam film lovers and media alike. He was in the news in most part of the year on this ground. But as actor and a young star, Fahadh will like to forget this year as he had got nothing much apart from a one multistar hit and an average success. He had five releases this year.

One by two  
The first one was One by two directed by Arun Kumar Aravind and scripted by Jayamohan. But the film was a dead rubber at the box office.

God’s Own Country
Then comes God’s own country directed by Sanal and it was also ended as a failure at box office. The film has a good star cast including Sreenivasan and Lal along with Fahadh. But the fate was to end up as a failure.

Bangalore Days
His third film this year was the multi-starrer  Bangalore Days directed by Anjali Menon in which he shared screen space with Young stars Dulquer Salmaan and Nivin Pauly. It was really a great combination and the film set the money bells ringing at the box office and ended up as the biggest hit of the year 2014. During the shooting of this film that Fahadh and Nazriya announced that they decided to get married very soon and in the film too they acted as pairs.

Money Ratnam
His 4th film this year was a milestone film of Century films. It was their 100th film and the film is titled as Moneyratnam. But things ended up in utter disappointment as Money Ratnam failed to  bring money Back from the box office and ended up as another flop for Fahad this year. The film was directed by Debutant Santhosh Nair.

Iyyobinte Pusthakam
His last release in 2014 was Iyyobinte Pusthakam directed by Amal neerad and it was produced by amal and Fahad himself. The film also has jayasurya and lal in lead roles. The film has got mixed opinion and ended up only as an average affair much to the dismay of Fahadh Faasil. The film just limited to a visual treat by amal neerad and nothing more than that.

He is now hoping for a much better 2015 with some Good projects waiting in the wings for him. We are hoping for his comeback in 2015 and wishing all the very best for a great 2015.
