Syam Pushkaran who had recently won the National Award for the Best Scriptwriter is all set to write for Mohanlal. The Maheshinte Prathikaram writer had earlier reported this to an online portal. He also reported that casting Mohanlal in his movie is a dream come true.

The writer who had entered the industry through Aashiq Abu’s superhit movie Salt and Pepper had penned it along with his partner Dileesh Nair. The duo later penned movies like 22 Female Kottayam, Da Thadiya, Idukki Gold, etc. Dileesh had later split and entered direction through Prithviraj starer Tamaar Padaar. Syam had gone to script Maheshinte Prathikaram.

He had written Maheshinte Prathikaram in a style that was soothing for audience of all kind. The movie was unique in many factors both because of the director’s and writer’s brilliance. The movie turned out to become a blockbuster and had won Syam the National Award for the Best Scriptwriter. He is currently penning a Fahad Faasil movie directed by a debutant.

He had expressed his deepest of joy for scripting a Mohanlal movie. Syam who loves the acting of the complete actor plans to pen a movie like Dasaradham or TP Balagopalan which shows off the actor’s quality. It is also reported that he had collected the advance for the movie from the crew.

Nivin Pauly’s Sakhavu has not yet broke it’s successful opening run in theaters. The movie continues to run house full shows all over the state. The movie funded by B Rakesh under Universal Cinemas is directed by National Award achiever Siddharth Shiva. This political drama for Nivin comes after a long gap of an year.

One among the most evident reason for the movie to stand apart from the recent released flicks is it’s make up department managed by Ranjith Ambady. The four makeovers the makeup artist had performed to make Nivin look different in various time periods is worth a mention. Nivin is seen as Sakhavu Krishnan and Sakhavu Krishna Kumar in the flick. Sakhavu Krishnan is seen in three different get-ups showing different time spans as a teenager, middle aged man and an elderly old man. Nivin had given in an amazing act for the roles mentioned above, but what had stood apart was Ranjith’s brilliant work.

In overall for a movie, makeup always remains unnoticed and a thankless job. But here Ranjith Ambady had given his best to bring out Sakhavu Krishnan. Nivin made many feel like a guy next door with his realistic yet catchy performance. The scene in which Sakhavu Krishnan gets one side stroke is of special mention, the makeup portrayed beside his lips is such realistic and natural. A big hatsoff for Ranjith Ambady and his team for the amount of dedication put in.

Sakhavu cannot be just termed as a political drama, it has equal doses of romance, machismo and humour. Aparna Gopinath, Aishwarya Rajesh, Gayathri Suresh, Sreenivasan, Binu Pappu, Sudheesh, Althaf, Santhosh Keezhattoor and many others are also part of the cast.

Biju Menon’s Rakshadikari Baiju Oppu is all set for a grand release tomorrow. The movie, directed by scenarist turned filmmaker Ranjan Pramod will be releasing in over 90 centres in Kerala.

It is also having a simultaneous release outside Kerala in centres like Bangalore, Mangalore, Mysore, Manipal, Hubli, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Vizag, Mumbai, Pune, Gujarat, Goa and Madhya Pradesh.

Rakshadikari Baiju is touted to be a clean commercial entertainer. From the promos and songs we presume that it’s a rural entertainer that will showcase all the goodness of the village community. Biju Menon is playing the titular role of an irrigation department employee.

Mohanlal- B Unnikrishnan team’s Villain has completed it’s second schedule shoot at Wagamon and gearing up for third by June. Mohanlal is seen playing the role of Mathew Manjooran, an ex-cop in this big budget flick. Manju Warrier who had recently joined the sets plays his pair.

A recent photo that had buzzed the social media is Vinayakan spot posing alongside the complete actor. The director B Unnikrishnan is also spotted behind the duo in the frame, therefore it is clearly evident that the photo was taken from the sets of the movie. Vinayakan had uploaded the picture via his Facebook handle. The picture had spread like wildfire and fans believe that he is essaying a character in the flick.

Vinayakan who had won the State Award for the Best Actor referring his versatile performance in Kammattipadam had a tight competition along with Mohanlal. The topic had been recently discussed in social media and online portals.

The audience after seeing the picture trending online expect the duo to rejoin. Vinayakan who had earlier appeared alongside Mohanlal in movies like Chotta Mumbai, Sagar Alias Jacky, etc. was given minimal roles. After the actor had attained a tremendous growth this would be their rejoining, if reports prove to be true. Malayalis would be proud and happy to see them coming up together once again.

Sukhamano Daveede staring Bhagat Manuel and Chethan Jayalal have started rolling in Thodupuzha. The movie throughout emphasizes the importance of brotherhood. Both the actors are seen as brothers in this Anup Chandran – Raj Mohan duo debut directorial.

Chethan who had won the State Award for the best child actor last year for the unacclaimed movie Guppy is gearing up to put up a mesmerizing performance. It was also reported that this one would be Bhagat Manuel’s career best performance.

“Kattappa should apologize; only then Baahubali release”: Kannada organizers all set for bandh on 28th!

Kannada organizers are all set for a bandh in Bangalore on the 28th of this month, when Baahubali 2: The Conclusion gets released. The release gets blocked in Bangalore only because of Kattappa, the role played by Sathyaraj in the movie.

The Kannada Vattalpaksha leader who are planning to organize the bandh said “Sathyaraj who had insulted Karnataka in the Kaveri river water dispute should apologize in public to the people over here. Only then we would quit from the decision taken on the release of Baahubali”

They are planning to organize a protest from Town Hall to Freedom Park the same day and stop the release. Apart from the Vattalpaksha party many others from various parties have also uplifted their decision.

Sathyaraj was seen in a pivotal character in the first part and is expected to portray a character with the same importance in Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. The organizers have already warned the theaters and multiplexes to ban shows on the release day. They have also informed that people would be protesting in front of theaters which would be showing the movie.

Later, the director SS Rajamouli had come up with a video on Facebook stating Sathyaraj who is not the maker or producer of the movie only plays a part assigned to him and is never a personal issue for him. He had also requested the people to call off the bandh and avoid unnecessary protests on the release day. Sathyaraj has not yet responded to the issue.

Dileep starer Ramaleela is all set to begin shoot. The movie directed by Arun Gopy is funded by Tomichan Mulakuppadam, the golden producer of Pulimurugan. It is said to be a political drama where Dileep is seen portraying the role of a MLA. The movie is scripted by Sachy after his Prithviraj starer romantic movie Anarkali.

The first look poster for the movie had released yesterday by the ace Tamil director Gautham Vasudev Menon. The director along with the revealer had expressed his wish of working on a Dileep movie. Earlier there were rumours in M-Town that the director had planned to cast a Malayalam actor in lead role for his upcoming flick, but later was dropped. GVM noted for his romantic genre classics like Vaaranam Aayiram and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya has currently completed filming his Vikram movie Dhruva Nakshatram.

Prayaga Martin plays the lead female in Ramaleela. Dileep who has currently shooting for Kammarasambhavam and Professor Dinkan simultaneously is expected to join the sets of Ramaleela soon. He would also be see teaming up with Nadirshah for a complete comedy entertainer.

The complete actor who had earlier annonced his biggie rolling next year with VA Shrikumar and MT Vasudevan Nair had face a bad time yesterday through social media. Bollywood star Kamaal Rashid Khan aka KRK had criticized the actor with some tweets comparing the actor with the cartoon character Chotta Bheem on basis of his size.

Later the day he had also targeted the actor through his Facebook handle by posting a picture of the actor featured as a goon from the movie China Town. The fans had gone wild after seeing the post which had insulted the actor to it’s best. The fans had later planned and had reported the post to Facebook which had later resulted in taking off the picture. The fans after seeing that the post had removed from Facebook due to the mass reporting.

The Bollywood star had also insulted the fans by calling them idiots and stating them various facts. The 3 tweets that had come in quick succession after the tweet that had created big issues. After Mohanlal fans had trolled the star online Mammootty fans had also come into play by targeting the star’s Facebook and Twitter handles. They had commented abusives against him and have posted heroic images of Mohanlal. This clearly depicts an image in our industry that whether a co star is trolled or insulted they respond no matter aware of the fan base.

The fans had also questioned the star before putting up such stupid posts he should have at least watched a film of the ace actor to understand his acting prowess and where he stands. It is also seen that this is not the first time the star had posted such hilarious posts and tweets. He constantly post movie reviews which are not reliable and misleading.

Prithviraj movie Vimanam which has completed it’s first schedule shoot at Mangalore a month back is currently progressing with it’s second one. Earlier, Prithviraj was reported training to fly a light weight aircraft and it is said the crew had completed the shoot of those scenes at Mangalore.

The director Pradeep Nair had said to a news portal about the shoot recently “The shoot was adventurous. We had canned the flying sequence with Prithviraj and actress Durga Krishna. There were also experts with them during the shoots. We could capture some amazing visuals as well”

The Saji M Thomas partly inspired flick based on his life by his speech and hearing impaired disability had built a light weight aircraft on his own a few years back. The crew had made a flying yard adjacent to the runway in Mangalore for the shoots.

Prithviraj had too responded about the experience to a news daily “I didn’t fly the aircraft for real. But I had to learn the instrumentation inside an aircraft and what exactly to do while you are a piloting one, but the scene required me to act like I knew what I was doing”

After the completion of the second schedule, the movie begins it’s third schedule by May in Kochi. Prithviraj is currently shooting for Jinu Abraham’s Adam Joan in Scotland.

Mohanlal who had recently announced his biggie directed by VA Shrikumar Menon and funded by business tycoon BR Shetty for a whopping 1000 crores budget. The movie is a multilingual made in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and foreign languages. It is the second costliest movie ever made in Asia and the costliest in India. Recently, Mohanlal had faced a plentiful abusive both on Twitter and Facebook from Bollywood star KRK aka Kamaal Rashid Khan.

The star had tweeted more than three times against the actor following the tweet comparing the actor to Chotta Bheem on basis if his size. In one of his tweets posted he also expressed his desire to play Sreekrishna in this Hindu epic.

His tweet read: “I would love to play role of Krishna in #Mahabharata because he was also from Mathura UP like I am from UP”

The star is a native of Uttar Pradesh so is Sreekrishna, so he feels that he should be picked in to play the role of this epic character. The actor who had criticized the complete actor earlier many a times felt free to express his deepest of desires. He never aims for a small role comprising a soldier or so, he wants to play one of the pivotal roles in the movie. Ridiculous!

We had seen the fans of both Mohanlal and Mammootty responding with abusive comments and posts against KRK earlier. We are yet to know how the fans are starting to respond against this tweet posted recently. Earlier the director of The Mahabharata VA Shrikumar had expressed his dream of casting Hrithik Roshan or Mahesh Babu as Sreekrishna. The final cast list of the movie is yet to be published by the crew.
