Jomonte Suviseshangal Teaser

Young Megastar Dulquer Salmaan’s next release is Jomonte Suvisheshangal directed by senior director Sathyan Anthikkad. Official teaser for the movie has been released today.

The teaser has the elements of a good family entertainer, director Sathyan Anthikkad’s forte. The movie is written by Dr Iqbal Kuttippuram.

Premam fame Anupama Parameswaran is playing the lead while Kollywood actress Aishwarya Rajesh is also essaying a pivotal role.

Mukesh, Muthumani, Vinu Mohan, Innocent and many others play supporting roles in the movie produced by Sethu Mannarkkadu under the banner Full Moon Cinemas.

Jomonte Suvisheshangal is scheduled to release on December 16 as a Christmas release.

Of late many youngsters are entering Malayalam cinema with fresh ideas and making styles. A group of youngsters are now joining together for a movie titled Basheerinte Premalekhanam.

A very interesting aspect about Basheerinte Premalekhanam is that cinematography of the movie is handled by a 20 year old. Director of photography Sanjay Harris is the youngest cameraman in the history of Malayalam Cinema.

Sanjay was doing his major in Art, Design and photography when his teachers encouraged him to do a course in cinematography.

He first assisted Abhinandam Ramanujam for the movie Mosayile Kuthira Meenukal. He has also assisted cinematographers like Madhu Neelakandan and Sujith Sarang.

Sanjay Harris later worked as an assistant cameraman in movies like Dounle Barrel, Rani Padmini and recently Inspector Dawood Ibrahim (IDI).

The camera used for Basheerinte Premalekhanam is red weapon. This is the first time this camera is used for a South Indian film.

Basheerinte Premalekhanam is a romantic movie directed by Aneesh Anwar. Aneesh Anwar is a noted director for his movies like Zachachariyayude Garbhinikal and Kumbasaram.

Fahadh Fazil’s brother Farhan Fazil, who earlier made his debut in Njan Steve Lopez directed by Rajeev Ravi is the male lead in the movie. Sana Althaf who has acted in movies like Vikramadithyan and Mariam Mukku is playing the female lead in the movie.

Veteran star actors Madhu and Sheela are playing pivotal roles in the movie. Joy Mathew, Harish Kanaran, Aju Varghese, Shanavas, Suraj Harris, Sreejith Ravi, Sohan Seenulal, Sunil Sugatha, Manikandan, Asha Aravind, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Ponnamma Babu, Ranjini Jose and Sethulakshmi are playing supporting roles in the movie.

Shoot for the movie has been completed and the makers are planning to release by early next year.

Screenplay for the movie is written by Shinod Sivam, Bipin K Paulose, Shamseer Ahamed. Vishnu Mohan Sithara is composing music for the movie.

Basheerinte Premalekhanam is produced by PM Harris and Mohammed Althaf under the banner Fort Entertainment.

Manjima Mohan is elated after the success of her latest outing Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.

AYM was Manjima Mohan’s debut movie in Tamil. She paired up with Simbu in the movie. AYM was a bilingual made in Telugu as Sahsam Swasaga Swagipo with Naga Chaitanya in the lead. Manjima played the female lead in the Telugu version also.

In a recent interview, Manjima shared about her experiences working for the movie. She spoke high of her co-star Simbu from whom she said, learnt a lot of things. They share a good chemistry off screen also.

In the course of the interview Manjima said, she was a die hard fan of Mohanlal. From the actress, Manju Warrier is her favourite. Deepika Padukone is another actress Manjima admires for her good looks.

Manjima started as a child actor in Mollywood. She has acted in movies like Kaliyoonjal, Mayilpeelikavu, Saphalyam, Priyam with the likes of actors like Dileep, Kunchako Boban.

Manjima made her debut as a female lead in Mollywood through Oru Vadakkan Selfie starring Nivin Pauly and Vineeth Sreenivasan in the lead. The pretty actress added that both Vineeth Sreenivasan and Nivin Pauly are very good friends with her.

KPCC member Pandalam Sudhakaran posted a controversial post his official Facebook page. It reads, “Congratulations Dileep and Kavya for the wedding, now no one will its black money”.

He indirectly used the word black money with legalising their relationship through marriage. The actors were involved in a lot of gossips and rumours about having a secret relationship for the past many years.

The Facebook post was met with widespread criticism for apparently insulting the actors. Netizens came down heavy at Pandalam Sudhakaran, calling it inappropriate and an indecent act coming from a public representative.

Pandalam Sudhakaran is an ex-Minister who has also worked as a director in the Film Development Corporation. After screenshots of the controversial post started surfacing social media pages, Pandalam Sudhakaran was forced to remove the post.

Many actors like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Mohanlal have supported the government’s decision. Actor politician MLA Innocent, has now criticised the government for their poor planning and implementation.

“The Prime Minister and the government should have done some brainwork before launching such a move. People across the country are sweating it out at the banks and ATMs to withdraw their hard earned money. People have died collapsing while standing in queues.

Who will be responsible for such incidents? Everyday the government is giving false statements that the situation will be normal soon. Who are they trying to fool? We are in such a situation where we cannot withdraw our own from the banks.

There were some photos of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s old mother standing in queues for exchanging her money. In fact many people including me found that very funny. Even if she did not stand the queue, she would have got her money.

Aanandam is now a super hit

Aanandam starring seven new comers in the lead was released last month. The movie was opened to good reviews from the critics and the common audience.

This small movie is entering its 6th week from the release. It is still continuing its successful run screening in around 30 theatres in the state.

Aanandam was written and directed by debutant Ganesh Raj who had previously worked as an assistant to directors like Vineeth Sreenivasan and Anjali Menon.

The movie told the story of a group of students from an engineering college who are on a trip as part of their Industrial Visit.
