Shahrukh Khan movie Fan on the way to the biggest disaster of his career

Shahrukh Khan starred latest flick Fan has been released all over on 15th April and received positive reviews from all around. This Maneesh Sharma directorial film had told the story of a Super Star named Aryan Khanna and a crazy fan of him named Gaurav Chandna. Shahrukh Khan played dual role in this film as Aryan as well as Gaurav. He had gave a terrific performance as Gaurav as well. But as per the latest reports from trade Pandits like Taran Adarsh from Bollywood, the film is moving towards the biggest disaster in Shahrukh Khan’s career.

As per reports the film is going down and down each day passes and is removed from almost all the screens in places like Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh etc. The film is moving to the biggest flop of Yash Raj film till date. It had opened well on its first day as it had raked in 19 crore+ on Day 1. Later it suffered slump in collection as each day passes. On its second day it had got 15 crore+ and on Sunday it got 17 cr+. But it went down to 6 cr+ on 4th day and on its 5th day it had collected only around 2 crore and it was a big blow. The film is said to have become a big loss to the distributors. The total India business in 5 days is around 60 crore.

The film is doing much better business at overseas. As per reports the film had grossed around 40 crores from overseas market from its 5 days run and made its total figure around 100 crore. But the big budget film is not at all safe with this collection. A sharukh Khan starrer must have to cross 200 crores at least in worldwide box office to be called a hit. His last film Dilwale also became a disaster at box office. Back to back disasters have really pulled down

It was indeed a big news that the Premam fame actress Sai Pallavi was chosen to play the female lead in none other than Mani Ratnam directorial movie. Karthi is said to be playing the male lead in this movie. Everybody expressed that it was indeed a great opportunity to a newcomer like Sai Pallavi to show her talent as Mani Ratnam film get a reach which she could only dream of.

But as per the latest report which is coming, Sai Pallavi has been removed from the film and another Mumbai based actress is chosen to play the female lead in the movie. If it is true then it is a sad news for the fans of Sai Pallavi.

There are two reasons said to be behind this decision to remove her from the movie. Some people says that it is because the character needs more mature actress and that is why Mani Ratnam went for another actress. But there is another reason as well as said be some others.

They says that the film will have some intimate scenes and Sai Pallavi refused to do it. And that is why Mani Ratnam opted for a Mumbai based model o play this part by removing Sai Pallavi. Anyway the shoot of this film will start in this coming September.

Sai Pallavi had acted in Dulquer Salmaan starrer film Kali this year after her debut through the blockbuster hit Premam. Kali also become a box office success even though not a big one.

Theri, the Ilaya Thalapathy starrer flick helmed by young director Atlee had ended the first weekend on a terrific note. The film had grossed around 85.50 crores from worldwide screens on its first weekend and now all set to cross the 100 crore mark this week.

Even though week days showing drop in collections, the films dream run in the first weekend will make it sure that it crosses the magical 100 crore mark in box office and will give Vijay another 100 cr+ movie. The performance of the film outside India is superb and in Indian Market it is an above average performer.

It had raked in more than 50 crore from India alone and from outside it grossed more than 33 crores as per reports. It had made more than 28 crores on its first day itself from all around. In international circuits, the film had even got great reception in box office than Sharukh Khan’s film Fan. It had already broke many records in international circuits and even Bollywood films went down before this one.

From Chennai it had got close to 4 crore and overall from Tamil Nadu, the film had raked in 35 cr+. From Kerala it had got more than 6.60 cr+ and from Karnataka it got 5 cr+ as well.

Dulquer Amal Neerad movie release will be delayed

Dulquer Salmaan starrer film by Amal Neerad is one of the most snticipated one of this year and it will start filming on 20th April near Bharananganam, at Pala. Amal Neerad producing this film as well along with the direction. Anwar Rasheed, another popular director/producer will distribute this flick in theaters.

Earlier they had planned the film to be released in the coming September 9th. But now the release has been delayed due to some technical reasons and as per the latest information came from Amal Neerad and Anwar Rasheed, they are planning the film to be released on October 7 this year.

He also appreciated the cricket stars like Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle and Watson that they are so natural while acting and they always keep the set very lively. Priyadarshan also opined that after retiring from cricket most of the cricketers can try their luck in the film field as they had the talent and no camera fear at all.

The shoot of the commercial WAS IN Bangalore and popular movie actress Sruthi Hasan also took part in the filming of that commercial. Priyadarshan had done many national and international commercials and now all set to be back there in full flow.

One of the most loved actor in South India and the one who is very popular even in Bollywood, Mr. Madhavan is all set to be back in Mollywood after a gap with the film starred by Dulquer Salmaan and directed by Pratap Pothen. The film was tentatively titled earlier as Love in Anjengo.  The film is penned down by famous writer/director Anjali Menon and the filming is planned to start in the coming June or July. The film will be produced by Pratap Pothen’s Supriya banner which is making a comeback to Mollywood after long years. Renjith Rejaputhra also said to be associating in the production as per reports.

Madhavan was earlier acted in a movie named Made in USA, which was made in both Malayalam and English language years back. He had got several offers from Mollywood in the past and he denied all those because he believed that fluency in a language is very much important in playing a character well. But this time he had excited about this project and there were rumors that he is only playing an extended cameo in the film.

Kollywood actress Dhansika is playing the female lead in this movie and popular director and cinematographer Rajeev Menon is cranking the camera of this film. The music for this film will be tuned y music maestro Ilaya Raja. Dulquar Salman is will start the Amal Neerad movie from this week last and after completing it he will join this Pratap Pothen film. This will be Pratap Pothen’s directorial venture after very long years and his last directorial venture in Malayalam was Mohanlal- Sivaji Ganeshan starred flick Oru Yathramozhi which released in 1990’s and got great appreciation from audience and critics.

The issue is that Ranjith had not obeyed the order of producers association to stop filming Leela by obeying to the conditions laid by technicians. But Renjith who is also the producer of the film had continued with the shoot and when he completed the shoot, the Producers Association tried to ban his film from screening as a disciplinary action against Renjith. But later the exhibitors and FEFKA stood with Renjith and he is now all set to release the film this week. Meanwhile Renjith had made a statement as a reply to producers and is now trending in social media now.

Ranjith said that most of the members in Producers association or most of the members who are decorating the top positions in Producers association had stopped producing films almost 20 years ago. Renjith says that these kind of bullshits cannot be encouraged anymore here in Mollywood.

Anyway, Leela will hit the screens soon and the expectation level is damn too high. Ranjith’s last film was Mohanlal starrer film Loham. Even though it was a commercial success, many of his fans were not satisfied with that film due to its complex nature and many said that the class in Renjith’s films was not present in Loham to an extent. So Leela will be a comeback from Renjith as well.

Dulquer Salmaan had come back to the track of success with his last year film Charlie and now his latest film Kali also entered the hit charts. Next month, his another film is coming titled as Kammattipaadam and it is directed by none other than Rajeev Ravi. The screenplay of this film is written by popular actor/director P Balachandran. Even though not much details about the film is not revealed to the media, some reports are coming in that this flick will be based on the history of the underworld of Kochi.

There were many other films made on the themes based on the Kochi Underworld such as Big B by Amal Neerad, Black by Renjith and Chotta Mumbai by Anwar Rasheed etc. The goonda gangs of Kochi has been the favorite subject for film makers over these years. But nobody really went on to make films based on the history of these goonda gangs or the start of underworld activities in Kochi. Kammattipadam is said to be one such film from Rajeev Ravi, who is known for his realistic films like Annayum Rasoolum and Njan Steve Lopez. The film travels through different periods in the history of goonda gangs in Kochi starting from the period of 1950’s.

The film explores how the goonda gangs or underworld activities had begun in Kochi. At first these groups were formed and controlled by rich businessmen in Kochi when Kochi had grown as the center of business. Later these gangs had acquired their own identity and address there and they had become a parallel set up in Kochi. The flick tells that story as per reports.

Dulquer Salmaan is sporting 3 different getups for this film and the posters came out which has Dulquer Salmaan sporting the bold moustache look is already went viral in social media. Artists like Vinay Fort, Chemban Vinod, Vinayakan, Soubin Shahir etc also playing important characters in this movie. As per reports, this flick will hit the screens in the second week of May and the anticipation level is damn too high.
