Social media ridiculing Kerala State Film Awards 2016 !

Kerala State Film Awards 2016 had announced today and just like last year, this year also it seems all went wrong with the decisions made by jury. Social media already starting reacting against this and the troll posts and ridiculing type of posts care already started to come up in Facebook pages and spreading through WhatsApp as well. Most of the people is not at all happy with the award declaration and specially when it comes to the best actor award given to Dulquer Salmaan.

People is of the opinion that even though Dulquer had given his career best performance as Charlie in Charlie, the others who competed with him had given much better performances in those films nominated for awards. Then how the award went to Dulquer Salmaan ? That is the question raising by many in social media.

Years before, the state awards of Kerala had a value among the people as it was bagged by terrific actors for their awesome performances. Mohanlal is the one who got the most number of Kerala State film awards. He got 6 best actor awards and in total 9 state film awards in various categories. Mammootty is followed by 5 state awards and then by Murali who got 4 state awards. Many great performances from ever memorable actors had won awards in state level.

But for the last few years, the awards were not at all satisfying the people of Kerala as they thinks that it is not giving to the deserved ones. Politics and partiality had affected the decision making according to the common people. The justification by jury such as awards were giving to youngsters for encouraging them is treated as hollow arguments by the public and they says that it is just a fake reason to avoid Mohanlal, Mammootty or any other great performer in order to give to the personal favorites of jury members.

This year many people had thought that Jayasurya will get it for his terrific performances last year. In Last year as well he lost out the best actor award he deserved. Apart from Jayasurya, there are artists like Mammootty, Kunchacko Boban, Indrans, Prithviraj etc as well who had the chance to win it.

Isha Talwar was the first one who had started her career with him through Thattathin Marayathu and she is now quite popular here. Then we saw Nikki Galrani made her Mollywood debut with him through the film 1983. Later Manjima Mohan had begun her career as heroine through the film named Oru Vadakkas Selfie and in his last year blockbuster named Premam there were 3 heroines who had made their debut opposite him. Anupama Parameshwaran, Madonna, Sai Pallavi were the 3 female leads in that film.
