Mohanlal with his love and care to the mothers in the old age home of Poojappura

Mohanlal again proving that he is the super star not only in reel life but also in real life as well. Mohanlal who is known for his charity works and kind heartedness once again showered his love and care and this time for the mothers who are living at one old age home at Poojappura. Mohanlal came to visit them last day and presented them clothes on behalf of him and also on behalf of the campaign named ‘Avarkkayi Nammukku Vangam’ associated with the grand Kerala shopping festival season 9.

The campaign is to encourage people to buy things and gifts for those who are living I old age homes and other such places. Mohanlal happily becomes a part of this campaign and started off with giving clothes to 45 mothers living at Poojappura old age home and he spend some quality time with them as well. Mohanlal said that now-a-days people thinks only about themselves. In this scenario the campaign is really good which make people think about others as well.

Mohanlal also said that when he see these old mothers he remembers his own mother who is now bed ridden due to illness. His mother also lives at his family house at Poojappura before she got hospitalized. Mohanlal said that he is very happy to begin the campaign from Poojappura. He also said that the happiness we get when we gives something to others should be bigger than the happiness we get when we buy something for ourselves.

Mohanlal also said that this was just a symbol of love and kindness and we all have to participate in this campaign to make the light of love and care to spread all over Kerala. A P Anil Kumar was also present when Mohanlal gave his gifts to the mothers there in the old age home. Mohanlal was always there to help people and he is the only super star from Mollywood to receive the Mother Teresa award for charity.

Young Super star Prithiraj hit a purple patch in his career with success coming one after other. He is now enjoying the 4th success in a row as his first release this year named Pavada also become success. Earlier he had 3 successes in a row last year as he ended the year with the box office victory of Ennu Ninte Moideen, Amar Akbar Anthony and Anarkali. This year also will witness some big projects of him and some of them are already on its way. His next release this year will Darwinte Parinamam, directed by Jijo Antony. The film is slated as a March release this year. The film is produced by Prithviraj’s own production house named August Cinemas. Chandni Sreedharan playing the female lead in this film.

His next release after Darwinte Parinamam will be James and Alice, which is the directorial debut of cameraman Sujith Vasudev. Vedhika is playing the female lead of this film. The film had already started filming. Another film he committed was The Beautiful Game which will be directed by debutant Jamesh Kottakkal. The film will be based on the Game of Football and it will be produced by actor Asif Ali under the banner of Adam’s world of Imagination.

In which he will play the real life character of Saji, who builds an aircraft after being mute and deaf. It will be Prithviraj’s third real life character after JC Daniel and Moideen. It seems that young Mollywood actors is fond of with police roles and cop stories now-a-days. Last Thursday, we saw the release of Nivin Pauly starrer film named Action Hero Biju in which he played the role of a police officer. It was his first cop role in his career. Now, another young star of Mollywood Asif Ali is coming with a film named Ithu Thanda Police, in which he plays a police character as well. Earlier the film was titled as Driver On Duty and later changed it to Ithu Thanda Police.

The trailer of the film directed by Manoj Palodan is released on February 5th and receiving good response from the fans and film lovers. The film expected to release in this month itself and the date will be confirmed shortly. As per reports the plot of the film is humorous as well as thrilling. It tells the story of a male police character who comes to join a women police station as a driver.

Artists like Abhirami, Janani Iyer, Sruthi Lakshmi, Sajitha Madathil plays the key roles as they were playing the women police officers in the film. Krishna Prabha, Neena Kuruppu, Sunil Sugada, Sudheer Karamana etc playing important roles in this film. Asif Ali’s character name is Ramakrishnan in this film.
The film is written also by director Manoj Palodan and it his debut film as a director as well. The flick had been produced by Ravi Kottarakkara. DOP of the film is Hari Nair and music was tuned by Sumesh Parameshwaran.

Nivin Pauly’s first release after the big success of Premam, named Action Hero Biju had released in Kerala on the 4th of February and the rest of Indian release was day before yesterday, on the 5th of February. In Kerala, the film received mixed reviews from the audience and good reviews from the critics, In Tamil Nadu the film is receiving good response all over. This Abrid Shine directed flick is getting positive reviews from the crowd and critics of Chennai and there are reports coming in which says that Nivin Pauly is all set to make his film trending there again after Premam.

His last film Premam had run more than 250 days there and that had really increased the popularity of this young actor from Mollywood in Chennai. That is the major reason why his latest flick getting great attention from there. Now, it seems that after the big success of Mohanlal starrer flick Drishyam all over India, every Malayalam films getting accepted and appreciated all over South India, specially, in Tamil Nadu after a long gap. After Drishyam, films like Bangalore Days, Premam etc got good response from there and now Action Hero Biju joins that list as well as per reports.

In this film Nivin Pauly plays a police officer named Biju Paulose and the film is treated in a realistic manner rather than in a mass way. The collection report of the film from Chennai is not available now but it will expected to come by Monday. This is Abrid Shine-Nivin Pauly’s team’s second film after the award winning film named 1983. That film is released in the year 2014 and had won the appreciation of the audience as well. It was Abrid Shine’s Debut film. In one sense we can say that Nivin Pauly’s golden run as a star had started from the success of that film in 2014.

This film Action Hero Biju is the maiden production venture of both the actor and director as well as the jointly financed this flick. It had a big release in Kerala as it got around 131 screens here.

Fahad Fazil had staged a perfect come back this year with two good films. His first release this year was Monsoon Mangoes directed by Abi Varghese and it had got great critical appreciation. Last day his second film of this year also released and it was Maheshinte Prathikaram directed by Dileesh Pothen. The film had earned both good critics as well as audience reviews and going towards a box office success as well.

This year has begun well for him and as per reports he will do only one film this year and that will be the next one of him directed by Anwar Rasheed. It will be a big budget film as well. But there is a question in the mind of the audience to ask him and that is whether his wife Nazriya Nazim come back to acting and whether they both will be seen together in a movie in the near future. Fahad answers that question in a media interview.

Fahad said that if a screenplay that comes which excites both of them, then they will do a film together. A script like that not yet came and they are not actually concern about sharing screen together. They had to do lot of other things in life and only after all that they will think about doing a film together. Nazriya is now busy with the furnishing of their new apartment and she is happy. She is also not thinking about coming back to acting career or doing a film with her husband. It will happen when the right time comes and they are not planning anything.

Anwar Rasheed film may be the September release of this year and it will start filming in the coming April or May. Anwar Rasheed had earlier directed Fahad in the film named Aami, which was one of the films of the anthology movie named 5 Sundarikal. Anwar Rasheed is the one who also produced Bangalore Days along with Weekend blockbusters which had Fahad Fazil, Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim etc played the lead roles.

Nivin Pauly starrer film Action Hero Biju which is conceived by 1983 film fame director Abrid Shine had graced the silver screens all over from last Thursday. And the one who played the female lead in the film is Anu Emmanuel, who is popular among the film lovers through the film named Swapna Sanchari directed by Kamal years ago. She played the daughter character of Jayaram’s character in that movie.

Anu Emmaunel , who is the daughter of popular film producer Thankachan Emmanuel, then went to overseas for higher studies and now back with Action Hero Biju in to Mollywood. Now just after the release of her first film as heroine, she got the chance to work in a Telugu film as the female lead opposite Telugu star Gopichand.

She is playing the female lead in the film named Oxygen, which will be directed by AM Jothi Krishna and produced by Shri Sai Ram creations. Telugu Star Gopichand will play the male lead in this film. Bangalore Naatkal Review

Bangalore Naatkal, the official Tamil remake of the Malayalam blockbuster film named Bangalore Days has hit the screens today. The original Malayalam version scripted and directed by Anjali Menon had become a great success in Kerala as well as in South India as a whole. The film is remade to Tamil with the stars like Arya, Bobby Simha, Sri Divya, Rana Daggubati, Lakshmi Rai, Parvathy etc and it was directed by Bhaskar. Gopi Sundar who had tuned the music for the Malayalam version also given music to the Tamil Version. The film was produced by Prasad V Potluri’s PVP cinemas.

The story of the film is already known to you. It is the story of three cousins played by Arya, Sri Divya and Bobby Sinha and also of those people comes to their life played by Rana Daggubati, Parvathy etc. It depicts their dreams, struggles and adaptation to new living atmosphere etc. It also shows the turning points in the lives while they were at Bangalore.

Have to say that Bhaskar is failed to create the magic created by Anjali Menon in the original version. The emotions were not carried out well by the actors as well as the screenplay when adapted to Tamil loses its depth and charm as well. Rana Daggubati was good at parts. But others such as Arya, Sri Divya, Bobby Simha etc were not up to the mark when we consider the performances of Nivin Pauly, Dulquer Salmaan and Nazriya in the Malayalam version. Rana Daggubati also no way near the performance of Fahad Fazil but managed stand up somehow specially in the flash back scenes with Samantha. Samantha and Prakash Raj does not created much impact as they have only cameos to play.

Parvathy had did a fantastic job again and Saranya Ponvannan also did a fabulous job and at her witty best as well. Casting and screenplay let the film down. Gopi Sundar’s BGM was very good and songs also lived up to the expectations. Guhan’s DOP was nice and he had given hisd all in it. But editing was not satisfying and it had created a jumpy effect all over the film.

In total, Bangalore Naatkal is only an average affair only for the storyline and also for the performances of artists like Rana Daggubati, Parvathy Menon and Saranya Ponvannan.

Nivin Pauly starrer Action Hero Biju may receiving mixed opinion from the common mass, but the film is getting great appreciation from the critics and other prominent figures from the film industry. The flick directed by Abrid Shine who had earlier given as the film 1983 in 2014, which had won the state award, is a realistic cop story told in a simple manner with no masala elements in it. We can surely say that such a realistic cop story was never seen in any language in India. Now, popular film maker and the head of FEFKA, B Unnikrishnan also came out praising the film.

B Unnikrishnan had posted a status on his official Facebook page after watching the film that he really loved it. He said that Action Hero Biju is witty, interesting and unconventional in its treatment of the subject. It is emotional and realistic at the same time as well. He told to everyone that we must watch it and we will love it. He congratulated both Nivin Pauly and Abrid Shine for their efforts and said that he was just stunned by the performance of Suraj Venjarammoodu. B Unnikrishnan exclaims what an actor Suraj is. He had given a big hug to Suraj for his marvelous performance in an emotional role and that too doing a cameo.

The film is getting good reviews from the critics and they mainly loved the new style in which they told the cop story. There is scope for including mass elements in the film. But still they ignored it to make it realistic and they had succeeded in presenting before us the real life of a police officer. The events that actually happens in the official life of a police officer. The film is produced by Nivin Pauly and Abrid Shine together under the banners of Jr.Pauly films and Full On Studios. It’s their first production venture as well.

As per reports the film had earned a good amount of 1.60 crore on its opening day from the screens of Kerala.
