Jr. NTR is one of the biggest star in Telugu Cinema now and his fan following and box office success rate is as good as anybody in Telugu cinema. His recent film Nanakku Prematho had released last day and receiving great reviews from all over. The film said to be on its way to the biggest blockbuster of Telugu Film industry and it had have the second biggest worldwide release after Bahubali in Telugu Film industry.

If we don’t consider the Hindi dubbed version of Bahubali, then this Jr. NTR film Nanakku Prematho had the biggest Telugu release in their history. But among all these happy moments, Jr. NTR is all excited about one thing and that is the chance to share screen space with Mollywood Super star Mohanlal.

Mohanlal is now doing a Telugu film directed by acclaimed director Chandrashekar Yeleti and it was titled Manamantha. It’s a family drama as per reports and will have four stories in it. Next month Mohanlal will start another Telugu film and it will have Jr. NTR in the lead role as well along with Mohanlal. It will be directed by Koratala Siva who had given some of the biggest blockbuster Tollywood had ever seen and his last film Srimanthudu with Mahesh Babu emerged as the second biggest grosser of all-time in Telugu after Bahubali.

The film is reportedly titled as Janatha Garage. Jr. NTR is very happy and excited about the prospect of sharing the screen space with Mohanlal. He believes that he will get a lot of lessons from the great actor to learn and is eager to meet him personally. He says that he want to fine tune his acting skills and there is no better one than Mohanlal from where he can get those lessons in India now.

Mohanlal, the 4 time national award winner is considered as one of the best one, with whom every artist, irrespective of his stature in the industry can work with all comfort. Now, Jr.NTR has got the chance to spend time with the legend and its damn sure that the mere presence of Mohanlal will create positive effect on him.

G Marthandan directorial film named Pavada, which was produced by Maniyanpilla Raju was released all over Kerala yesterday. The film has Prithviraj and Anoop Menon playing the lead roles. Prithviraj playing Pambu Joy and Anoop Menon playing Pavada Babu and both are alcoholics in this film.

The flick which now getting positive response from all over is said to be on the way to the 4th consecutive success of Prithviraj but applause also goes to the man Anoop Menon as well for the success of this film. Anoop Menon is very happy and he told to Onlookers Media that great response is coming from everywhere and many are giving him the feedback that Pavada Babu is the career best role he got.

Prithviraj and Anoop Menon had equal importance in this film and in fact we can say that Anoop Menon is playing the title role. Pavada is the name that people calls Anoop Menon’s character in this film. Anoop Menon had really excelled as the character as he was so natural, effortless and convincing as the alcoholic named Professor Babu Joseph. Whether its comedy or emotional sequences, he was just fabulous. At some parts he was the best when compared to all other artists in the film and the natural behaving of him had done the trick there.

Prithviraj also done a great job as Paambu Joy. He was hilarious as the character and never let that character slipped away from his control. And when it comes to the emotional sequences, Prithviraj really showed his class as an actor. Both Prithviraj and Anoop Menon become the backbone of the film with their great performances and both of them can proud of themselves after giving such a life to these characters. They complemented each other well and competed with each other as well when it comes to acting. That healthy competition is that what lead to the success and applause that they are getting now.

It was a real come back from director Marthandan as well. Now he can forget the disappointing last year and think of a fresh beginning after the success of Pavada.

Monsoon Mangoes Review

Monsoon Mangoes, the latest offering from actor Fahad Fazil to Mollywood film lovers had released today all over Kerala. At first the film had not much expectations as Fahad was going through a lean patch of his career. But when the trailer of the film released, the anticipation has risen to a level that it suddenly become one of the much awaited film of this season. Every one began to think that this may well be the grand come back of Fahad Fazil, they everyone is wishing for.

Debutant Abi Varghese is the one who conceived this flick and he is popular for his efforts in mini screen as got attention earlier as the maker of super successful Television serial named Akkarekkazhchakal. The film has been produced by Thampy Antony under the banner of his Kayal Films.

The central character of the film is played by Fahad Fazil and his character name is Daweed Pallikkal popularly known as DP Pallikkal. He brought to America in a very young age when his parents shifted to America and the biggest dream of his life is to make a movie. He had writtena script named monsoon mangoes as well. But distributor wants commercial elements or stars in the film. So he began to search for a star and at the same time wants to make the casting of the film apt as possible. His search lead him to a man named Prem Kumar played by Vijay Raz who was a long forgotten Hindi film hero. Then the film shows Daweed’s efforts to make a film and the problems faced by him.

Abi Varghese had just shown how skilled he is with this film as his narration pattern was really fresh, interesting and very much kept the audience glued to their seats. The screenplay written by Abi Varghese, Matt Grubb, Naveen Bhaskar jointly is one of the best we come across recently and it was the strength of the script which gave the film the solid platform it needed. Abi Varghese’s craft was very much visible in each and every aspect of the film and there is never an unwanted scene in the film. The music by Jakes Bejoy was another highlight of the film and specially, the background scoring by him was terrific. Cinematography by Lukasz Pruchnik had given the film a look as if it was Hollywood movie. Frames are that good and it really gave the audience the feel that they are watching some never seen before stuff in Malayalam Cinema.

And now we can come to the real stars of the show. It is Fahad Fazil and Vijay Raz undoubtedly. Both were performing in a way that they are competing with each other at the same time complimenting one another. Their combination scenes were just amazing and it was really a pleasure to watch these guys performing with perfection like never before. DP Pallickal may be one of the best by Fahad Fazil and it was a real comeback indeed. Other actors like Vinay Fort, Tovino Thomas, Thampy Antony, Nandhu, Ishwarya Menon, Sanju Sivaram etc had made impact through their terrific support to Fahad and Vijay Raz. Jacob Gregory is doing a cameo as well.

On the whole Monsoon Mangoes is a film that can give you a never seen before cinematic experience. Its not made in the usual commercial potboiler format. But its a sincere picture about life and cinema.

Jalam, special screening had took place in Trivandrum

Jalam, the M. Padmakumar directorial film which scripted by TS Suresh Babu was in the news some weeks back as the songs of the film is nominated to the list of Indian’s official entry to Oscar awards. Later again the film was in the news headlines as the team behind the film has decided to give all the money that gets as the profit share of the film to the poor and needy ones and help to make houses for the people who are homeless.

The film which financed by Sohay Roy is all set to be released all over even though it had already screened in Film Festivals and got recognitions from many prestigious places. It was even got state award in the last Kerala State awards. The latest on the film is that before the release, it had a special screening at Trivandrum on 13th January 2016.

The film had screened at the Ariesplex‬ Cinemas at Trivandrum and the screening was attended by popular artists, writers, directors and technicians from our industry. Dignitaries like Sohan Roy, B Unnikrishnan, Ouseppachan, TS Suresh Babu, B Venu, actor Mukundan, politicians like MA Baby, VT Balram, writer Sindhu Raj etc attended the function along with the ones who worked in the film in various categories.

The flick which had Priyanka Nair and Prakash Bare in the lead roles mainly focused on the struggle of a woman to live with his child and to find a place in the city or a piece of land to live after her husband dies in an accident. The flick has been noted for its intense screenplay by TS Suresh Babu, brilliant direction by M Padma Kumar, Ouseppachan’s soulful music and above all, the great performance from Priyanka Nair.

Jalam is world’s first charity movie as we mentioned above. They are all set to donate the collection of the film to build houses for the ones who is homeless and the film also touches upon that theme through the struggles of the character played by Priyanka Nair.

Pavada Review

Pavada, the much awaited Prithviraj starrer directed by G Marthandan had released today all over Kerala. The film produced by popular actor Maniyanpilla Raju is scripted by popular writer Bipin Chandran. As the first release of Prithviraj in this New Year, his fans and film lovers had great anticipation regarding the film. Adding to that hope, Maniyanpilla Raju, the producer of this film said in a recent media interview that this is the biggest film he ever produced and he is damn sure that this will be the film which is going to have the best theater run among the films he had produced till now.

When the producer who produced super successes like Vellanakalude Nadu, Aey Auto, Chotta Mumbai etc says like this, the expectation is bound to raise to another level. The film is very crucial for its director Marthandan, more than anyone as his last film Acha Din with Mammootty was one of the biggest disasters Mollywood had ever seen. So the success of Pavada is a must for Marthandan. The Central character of this film is played by Prithviraj and his character name is Joy. He is drunkard or a severe alcoholic addict. At first we meet the character Babu joseph played by Anoop Menon who is also an alcoholic. Joy meets him when both of them got admitted in a de-addiction centre and later elopes from there together. At Babu’s home, joy finds the reason that ruined his family.

The first half of the film is full of comic numbers from Prithviraj, Anoop Menon, Sharafudheen etc and it was quite an entertainment indeed. It gets emotional and a bit serious in the second half where the plot actually gets its momentum. First of all we have to mention the performances of artists as it is the real highlight of the film. Prithviraj once again proved why he is been regarded as one of the best actors of young generation. As Joy, Prithviraj had given one of his career best performance and we can say that one of the most convincing Alcoholic character after we saw some amazing ones from Mohanlal over these years and a brilliant one from Jayasurya last year. Another grand performance had come from none other than Anoop Menon. As the character Babu Joseph, who is also an alcoholic and an English Professor he had just given one of the sterling performances of his career and once again he showed as the value of his natural and easy way of enacting the character.

Apart from them Asha Sharath had done a great job and artists like Nedumudi Venu. Maniyanpilla Raju, Mia, Sharafudden, Chemban Vinod, Siddique, Renji Panicker etc were done their part to perfection as they always does. Marthandan had made a real comeback after that disaster he had to suffer last year and we can say that Pavada is the best in his career till now. He never let the film go out of his control and narrated the story with enough emotional depth that bound the audience to their seats. Aby Tom Cyriac’s music was super as it really moved along with the atmosphere of the film and it also worked as a source of energy as well. Gopi Sundar had done a great job scoring the background music of the film as well. Bipin Chandran had provided an entertaining script with all elements that you expect from a perfect family entertainer. Pradeep Nair’s Cinematography also worked very well for the film.

Pavada is a happy entertainer which will never let you down. So don’t miss this one from Prithviraj. His rule in box office will continue for sure.

Prithviraj-RS Vimal’s next flick Karnan will launch tomorrow

Prithviraj- RS Vimal, who gave us one of the all-time best romantic classic named Ennu Ninte Moideen last year is all set to launch their next venture named Karnan tomorrow and it will be the biggest film that ever made in Mollywood in terms of its budget and its canvas. As per reports the launch of the film will take place at Dubai tomorrow and Prithviraj had already arrived at Dubai for the launch of the film. The film is titled as Karnan as we mentioned above and the budget of the film is estimated as a whopping 45 crore rupees.

The launch of the film will take place at the Al Falak Ball room, in Burj Al Arab in Dubai.Prithvirj will launch the film along with the director RS Vimal and producer Venu Kunnappilli. The film will be produced by Venu Kunnappilli under the banner of Kavya Film. Venu Kunnappilli is a renowned business man in Dubai for years and he is been doing the business of Automobile spare parts business based in UAE. This will be his first ever production venture as well. The film as per the title suggests will be based on the Epic of Mahabharatha and they are planning to make it in Malayalam and Tamil simultaneously.

Apart from Prithviraj, the film will have many popular actors all over from India and it will have many technicians from all around India as well as from Hollywood to make it a perfect product. Director RS Vimal had undertook a journey through the places in Uthar Pradesh like Madhure, Hrishikesh, Ganga etc to know more about the epic of Mahabharatha. It was in these place, where most of the stories of Mahabharatha believed to be happened.

RS Vimal already told to media that this will not be a conventional film based on the stories of Mahabharatha but a film that tells how he looks up to the stories and characters in the Epic. It will be a Mahabharatha through the eyes of R S Vimal. Script work is now in progress and the shoot will start as per the completion of the screenplay.

Earlier MT Vasudevan Nair-Hariharan team’s film Pazhassi Raja starred by Mammootty, Sarath Kumar, Manoj K Jayan etc was the biggest Mollywood film with a 27 crore budget.

Prithviraj did not changed the script of Pavada, says director Marthandan

Prithviraj starrer film Pavada is releasing tomorrow all over and it has been making the news due to various reasons. First of all Prithviraj’s continuous successes that giving the hope for the audience that this one will also a good one for them. Another is that the trailer of the film had got good reception.

Then came Maniyanpilla Raju’s media interview in which he said that Pavada going to be the film which will get most number of days run in theaters among the films he produced. He also said that Prithviraj had changed the script of the film 4 times in order to one which satisfies him. Maniyanpilla Raju said that before he accepted the script written by Bipin Chandran, he had rejected 4 scripts of Pavada written by 4 different writers. But now, director Marthandan who had conceived this film came out and said that Prithviraj not at all changed the script of the film.

Marthandan said that it was a misinterpretation of the words spoken by Maniyanpilla Raju. Maniyanpilla Raju actually said that before they got the subject of Pavada, they approached Prithviraj with some other projects. But he was not satisfied with those stories and rejected it. But when they went to him with Pavada, he really loved the project and agreed to do it. He liked the screenplay of the film by Bipin Chandran and never wanted any change in the screenplay.

Marthandan said that they all are in high spirits and are in great hopes that the film will do well. The story and screenplay is so strong and that is the reason for their confidence. It was a wish of him to do afilm with Maniyanpilla Raju and when Raju agreed to do a film with him, they heard a lot of stories. But nothing was exciting. When it came to Pavada, through Bipin Chandran, everybody loved the plot and later all happened according to the plan.

Prithviraj fans is also waiting eagerly for the film as it is the first release of their star this year.

Jayasurya or Fahad to play the character of Noushad on screen !

Noushad, no Malayali can never forget this man, this name. Noushad is the one who sacrificed his life while saving two people from the manhole in Calicut. He was an auto driver and given his life to save those ones who are complete strangers to him. He never considered their caste, religion or any other difference with him. But he just think about them as his fellow beings and leaped in to the manhole to save those lives without thinking about his own. But fate had something bad in store. With that two Andhra Pradesh native people, Noushad also died in the manhole.

He was the epitome of kindness and was the talk of the society for a long time. But society tend to forget everything as they gets new things to remember. But Noushad’s life is not the one which has to get forget and to make it evergreen, his life story is now becoming a Malayalam Cinema. As per reports Jayasurya or Fahad Fazil will play the central character of Noushad in this film.

The film is titled as Njangade Swantham Unnikka and it will be directed by debutant Sajeesh Guruvayoor. He was the disciple of popular director V R Gopala Krishnan and was searching for a story that creates impact in society for the last 12 years. Now he believes that by making Noshad’s life story in to a film, he had to fulfill a social commitment as well. Noushad’s auto with the registration number KL 11 S 6693 will use in this movie as well.

He said that at first he does not think of making the life story of Noushad in to a film. But when he visited his home he realized that Noushad was really everything of Karuvassery Village. He cannot get forget by the people there and he has to be there in the mind of Malayalees forever. That’s when he planned to make his life story in to a film which people remembers forever.

He said that the scripting will complete in 2 month time and the script is writing by two people named Vipinesh and Sreejesh. They are planning to begin the shoot by the end of April. It will be an Onam release.
