Puli is definitely one of the most awaited film of south Indian film industry this year and the reason of that hype was one and only Ilaya Thalapthy Vijay who is the male lead in this fantasy as well as periodic action thriller. It is conceived by Chimbu Devan and has a huge star cast including popular artist like Sridevi Boney Kapoor, Kichaa Sudeep, and actresses like Hansika Motwani and Sruthi Haasan.
The film said to have some surprise elements as well and will be one which is very different from usual Vijay films. It had made on budget which is close to almost 120 crore as per reports and also the remuneration given to Vijay for acting in this film is also said to be 20 crore rupees. The teaser of the film had release some weeks back and it had already become a record hit in YouTube and created waves in social media. It had come with a controversy as well regarding the leaking of teaser before its official release from the studio of Chennai.
And today the audio of the film is going to be launched officially by the production team named SKT studios. The music for this mega film is composed by Rockstar of south India Mr. Devi Sri Prasad and the lyrics were penned down by Kaviperarasu Vairamuthu. Ilaya thalapathy Vijay also sing a song for this film along with co- actress Sruthi Haasan who is also a proven singer. Vijay had sung for some of his previous films as well including Thuppakki, Thalaiva, Jilla, Kaththi etc and all were super successes as well. But he is singing first time under the music direction of Devi Sri Prasad and it is a romantic duet with Sruthi Haasan. A glimpse of the song had already came out and it is said to be a super hit among the film lovers and vijay’s fans as well.
The audio release function will take place today in the esteemed presence of Sridevi, Sruthi Haasan, Kiccha Sudeep and Hansika Motwani and other cast and crew members also will be there at the function. Now everyone wait for the DSP magic to come out officially.

Thala Ajith to star in Baashha 2 ?
Thala Ajith busy with the forth schedule of his 56th movie has flow to Culcutta. The shooting is about to last for at least a week. Bu the latest buzz from Kollywood says that Suresh Krishna, the one who did the original version of Baashha has approached Ajith for its next installment. Baashha was one of the biggest box office hit of Tamil cinema. As a Rajanikanth starrer movie Baashha took the whole crowd with storm,with its punch lines and fight scenes Rajini as a common emotion for whole Tamilnadu was wisely utilized and hence became one of the greatest star retreat.
The movie was produced under the banner of Sathya movies. The sequel to this well received flick was at the writers desk for a while and was plan to be made with superstar Rajinikanth itself. But since he was unable to join the team Suresh Krishna approached the Thala of Tamil cinema, Ajith Kumar for its executions. And its heard that Thala is well impressed by the script. But official declaration is yet to be done.
But on the contrary there is also rumours negating this information. So as it is,the audience has to wait more for the authenticity. May be this can end up as another cooked up wish like the Chandramukhi sequel which filled the desks for a while. So lets hope for something huge by sitting and waiting. As of for some people in the industry believe that if its not Rajinikanth, the only choice for this out of the world character like Baashha would be none other than our Thala.

Loham will be one of the best from Mohanlal-Ranjith, says Abu Salim
People are waiting eagerly for one film and they are not showing much care about other films in this coming Onam season. The film is Loham and you all know why this has become so much an anticipated one. One is the presence of Mohanlal who is unarguable the biggest star in our M-Town. Another reason is that it is conceived by Ranjith who is probably one of the best writer and director Mollywood had ever seen. And add to that this pair has history of giving earth shattering success at box office and they had done it several times with action packed films.
Loham is also an action packed film coming from Ranjith after a while as he had turned to more realistic kind of film maker years back and giving us some class films rather than which giving importance to entertainment and thrill. But this coming one will have both class and mass elements as per reports and it is said to be a sure bet at box office as well.
But actor Abu Salim had no doubt it and he says that Loham will be one of the best from Mohanlal- Ranjith team and it will surely the rock the Kerala box office and will make everyone satisfied. Abu Salim had said that when Ranjith called him to work in his film Ranjith told him to shave his head and grow some beard. That time itself Abu Salim knows that this one will be great character for him and he says that his look in the film had similarity to Hollywood actor Dwyne Johnson (Rock). Abu Salim says that he is playing a positive character in this film and he is with Mohanlal throughout this film. Abu salim said that his character name in the film is Aman.
The actor praised Mohanlal for his dedication and commitment to prepare for this character. Abu Salim says that no other actor will go for such strain full training at this age other than Mohanlal. His stunt scenes are the highlight of this film and he had made his body a lot more flexible to make those stunts perfect. Mohanlal is always known as the one who does action sequences at its perfection in Mollywood and Abu Salim says we can see that magic again on screen while watching Loham.
Kamalini Mukherjee to play Mohanlal’s pair in Puli Murugan
After waiting for many days an information about the Mohanlal starrer Vysakh film Puli Murugan has come yesterday. It was about the heroine of the film which has already started its filming. One of the popular south Indian Actresses named Kamalini Mukherjee to play the female opposite Mohanlal in this upcoming flick. Kamalini had landed in Kochi yesterday and went to the sets of Puli Murugan.
The shooting is going on it complete secrecy and no one is allowed to enter in to the shooting area other than the crew members. Tight security has been made to check that no one comes inside with mobile phones or something like that which can cause the leakage of the photos from the sets. The film said have some very surprising as well as exciting elements along with the breath taking fight sequences of Mohanlal with 10 leopards in a forest choreographed by Peter Hein who is considered as the best ever stuntman in Indian cinema.
Kamalini Mukharjee is joining Vysakh for the second time as she had done a cameo in a song sequence in his last outing named Cousins starred Kunchacko Boban, Indrajith, Nisha Agarwal and Vedika. This will be Kamalini Mukhajee’s fourth film in Malayalam as she had done Kutti Srank with Mammootty under the direction of Shaji N Karun, Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla with Fahad Fazil helmed by V K Prakash and as just mentioned above Cousins conceived by Vysakh. She also acted with Kamal Haasan in a super successful Tamil film named Vettaiyadu Vilayadu directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon which was indeed the career turning film for her.
Puli Murugan will tell you the story of the character named Murugan who is living his life fighting with wild animals and it said to be one of the most challenging roles in Mohanlal’s entire career. The makers said that they will try to tell the story in a realistic with at the same time with lots of elements for entertainment as well. Actors such as Prabhu and many other actors are part of this movie and many details are still not available as they were kept in secret by the team.

Jilebi Review
Jilebi is the latest offering of actor Jayasurya which hit the screens of Kerala yesterday. Another newcomer had made his debut as a director through this film in Mollywood and his name is Arun Shekhar. Jayasurya was going through a lean patch for last few months and even his good films went unnoticed during this time. But he really showed the skill as an actor through mind blowing performances like in Kumbasaram. But to remain as a star he badly needs a hit and that is why Jilebi has become so important to him. The flick has been financed by East coast Vijayan under the banner of East Coast productions.
To say honestly Jilebi one of the best entertainers that released recently and it will hopefully get the success which it deserves to get. The film tells a simple story with a good message and it is a gift for family audience and specially children. The situations are quite humorous and simple and presented with utmost honesty that has made every spectator to connect with the story and its narration. The story deals with the incidents when Pachu and Ammu, children of Shilpa, the character played by Remya Nambeesan comes in to the life of Sreekuttan (played by Jayasurya) who is a farmer and leading a simple life with keeping nature and agriculture close to his heart.
Shila is his cousin and she comes to Kerala with her children from Dubai and want to settle them at the school in Kodaikkanal. Sreekkuttan has to deal with the duty of handling the children and settle them at Kodaikkanal. From the very begining the mischievous children had made the life of sreekkuttan a lot harder than earlier. The life of Sreekuttan changes with the entry of these children and that forms the major part of the film. The biggest plus point of the film is the novelty in its theme and the honesty with which they approached it. They did not tried to create nothing extra ordinary but kept it simple and that gave an extra ordinary charm to the film.
Jayasurya was once again at his natural best and he is growing and growing as an actor with each and every film. Remya nambeeshan also done a good job as shilpa. Even though it is his first film Arun Shekhar had done the job precisely and we never fells that it is a movie by a debutant as he controlled the narration very well and told it with flexibility. Alby’s camera work was superb and he captured the natural beauty of Kerala with really fresh frames. Biji Pal’s music was another highlight as it really gave a Malayali touch in all its elements. But the real stars of the film is Master Gaurav and Baby Sayuri who played Paachu and Ammu. They both did a wonderful job and their innocent yet mischievous pranks on uncle Sreekuttan gives everyone that innocent humour which they want to see for long time.
Jilebi is a sweet film and a really sweet experience which makes you happy and will make you think a little bit as well about your children and childhood. After watching Jilebi or while watching it, each and every one can feel that they are experiencing a real Malayali effect as the song in the film says “Njanoru Malayali..”

Shaji Kailas and Suresh Gopi team’s Samsthanam on its way
Suresh Gopi- Shaji Kailas team is one of the best actor-director pair in Mollywood history when it comes to action films or political thriller type films. In fact both of them have a natural taste to create these type of films and they had done it successfully several times and we all have loved those films right from the very beginning of their association. And after a short break this team is coming together with the same kind of a film for which they are famous for and it had titled as Samsthanam and had started rolling as well. It is said to be a political thriller which shows us the current political scenario of our state and how it is manipulated by different forces operating here.
The flick was penned down by Rajesh Jayaraman and Suresh Gopi is playing the character named ADGP Ravi Varman in this flick. Apart from Suresh Gopi, artist like actress Sukanya, Siddique, Vijaya Raghavan, Saikumar, Vijaykumar, Renji Panicker, Sunil Sugatha, Biju Pappan, P Sreekumar, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Raj Mohan Unnithan, Aparna Nair, Sreedevi Unni, and Manuraj plays other major characters. There has been also some reports that controversial figure in Solar case named Saritha Nair may also play a role in this film even though it is doing its round in social media in the form of only a rumor. Earlier Shaji had announced a project with Mohanlal and Mammootty in the lead which was dropped later.
King and Commissioner was the last film in which this team had joined and it was a failure at box office. Shaji Kailas later done some Tamil films which was remakes of his Malayalam films such as Nadiya Kollapetta Rathri and also a cop story as well. He had done two films with Jayaram as well in Malayalam recently which also ended up as failures. But with Suresh Gopi he had delivered great hits like Thalasthanam, Commissioner, Ekalavayan, Chinthamani Kola Case, Tiger etc over these years.
Last year a news came in that B.Unnikrishnan will write a script for Shaji Kailas- Suresh Gopi team as well in the coming future. Shaji Kailas said to have a Mohanlal project coming as well.
