Complaint against Kutti Pattalam program
Kutti Pattalam is a famous television show which is coming on the Surya television channel and it is quite popular among the viewers as it features children and their innocent behavior, answers and chit chat. Popular comedy artist and channel anchor Subi Suresh is leading the show as well as anchoring the show and she too is a reason why this show is that much popular among the viewers. Subi Suresh with her quick wit and great comic timing extracts all funny things from children and made it quite an entertaining show for the mini screen viewers.
But now a complaint has been lodged against this program and the complaint has been submitted to Kerala child rights commission. In the complaint it says that this program is making use of the innocence of children in the wrong way and using their innocence the channel increasing their ratings. In this show with the help of the trained anchor they extracts the things happening in a family which has to be their private matters. They are exploiting the innocent minds of the children to show all the private matters of a family before public and thereby trying to increase the ratings of the channel.
The complaint also says that the program also make use of many double meaning dialogues and using children they are even making public the most secret matters between a husband and wife and clearly even going against our culture as well. They are telling in the complaint that this program will badly affects the minds of the children who are taking part in this program as well as the children who are watching this program.
It will create an unhealthy culture and bad behaviour pattern among the children as they will start believe that telling whatever comes to their mind is the best thing to get attention and it will really make a serious situation in a family. There is no way to censor the contents shown in the mini screen and that is the real cause of such things happening in many programs and serials also doing the same thing.
Masss bow downs before Premam
Usually when big Tamil films or Hindi films releases in Kerala our Malayalam films washed away from the theaters in front of the spectacular reception got by the other language flicks. But this time there is a difference and it was made by Alphonse Puthrean directorial film named Premam. This time Nivin Pauly starrer Premam had literally demolished the opponent that too a heavy kollywood film named Masss starring South Indian star Suriya. Masss is at the verge of termination and it had really bowed down in-front of the great success got by Premam.
Kollywood star Suriya is facing some serious trouble now-a-days and he is going through a terrible patch off late. Suriya recently releasing all his films when there is not much competition from Tamil and Hindi films to get maximum collection and less opposition can make the film a safe one at box office. But that strategy too seems to be not working for Suriya now as his latest release named Masss is facing hold over threat from its very second day in Kerala. Mass was released when there is no competition from Tamil and Hindi films. But still it cannot able to stand up and deliver.
Actually Masss had been planned to release in almost 200 theaters in Kerala alone. But due to the arrival of Nivin Pauly starrer flick Premam and Prithviraj starrer flick Ivide the release of Masss has been restricted to only 110+ theaters in Kerala. But from the very first show itself the film got out and out negative reviews from the common audience as well as from online media pages and now it is been facing threat of hold over at many centers in Kerala. Nivin Pauly’s flick Premam which had got only 80 theaters to release got good opinion all around and in front of that flick Suriya’s big movie Masss had nothing left to do in Kerala.
In Tamilnadu as well the film is getting bad reviews and on the way to another failure for Suriya. Report from the trade guides suggests that Masss will bring huge loss to the theaters in Kerala in which it had charted and also to the distributors who distributed it here. Suriya’s previous film named Anjaan conceived by Lingu Swamy also were a failure at box office and Masss was somewhat a key flick for Suriya who was looking for a comeback. Now it also eated the dust of failure at box office and he had to do something very special to comeback strongly. “Mass” was conceived by one of the best and popular directors in tamil film industry named Venkat Prabhu and but still even he cannot able to change the bad time of Suriya.
Super Star Nivin Pauly !!
Super star Nivin Pauly is born says Jude Antony Joseph Nivin Pauly is now the centre of attraction in mollywood cinema as he is having a golden time in his career and hit the purple patch of his life with the success of film like Neram directed by Alphons Puthren and continuing with his success story after that with a series of hits and now become the popular actor of our industry. Even in this year he had given one blockbuster named Oru Vadakkan Selfie and now on the way to give another one just after it named Premam which is conceived by Alphons Puthren. The flick has released on last friday and it was received tremendous response from the spectators. And it is an indicator that it will be going towards another blockbuster level and this continuous big success stories raising Nivin’s level as a star.
His films are now getting a reception which is close to the reception of any super star film gets here in mollywood and youngsters are just loving all his films even though they are almost of the same genre of Romantic comedies. It was director Jude Antony Joseph last day in his Facebook post calls him a super star as Premam was going towards a big success. Jude Antony Joseph’s debut film was with Nivin in the lead and it was a super hit also titled Om Shanti Oshana released last year.
The director Jude in that post tells about the dreams and hopes they are shared together along with film maker Alphons Puthran, Siju, Krishnan, Shabreesh, Anand, Althaf etc and now all of them who are from aluva came to the world of cinema and this is a success of their dreams and Nivin pauly clearly is the next super star according to him.
Earlier after some of his successes some people began to call him the popular actor and they said that Dileep has lost his grip at box office after some of his failures and Nivin Pauly is the next popular actor of Mollywood. But Dileep Bounced back with Chandrettan Evideya. Now he is been called the next Super Star and but to really happen that he had to act in films out of his safe zone and make them big successes like Mohanlal, Mammootty and Suresh Gopi had done.

Unni Mukundan’s Style will start rolling soon
Unni mukundan is on his way to find his grip in Mollywood through some good projects of late and he has some very interesting and hopeful films coming up. The flick which is going to start is named ‘Style’ and it will be directed by none other than Binu S the man who gave us the surprising hit of last year named ‘Ithihasa’. It was indeed a mega success owing to the small budget of the movie. And it was a career changing film for some like Shine Tom Chacko and actress Anusree who gave a sterling performance in that unusual role.
Now it seems to be Unni Mukundan’s turn and we really hope that Binu S will do the magic again which can really bring about a great change in Unni Mukundan’s career as well. This time Binu is coming up with a great star cast for Style which includes artists like Balu Varghese, Renji Panicker, Rajeev Pillai, Priya Kandaval and Master Ilu along with our hero Unni Mukundan. The flick will be financed by Rajesh Augustine in the banner of A R K Media and the screen writing for this film is done by Anil Narayanan and Dominic Arun Jointly.
Sinjoy Ayyapan who had done a terrific job as the DOP of Ithihasa will be seen behind the camera of this film as well with Binu S. The section of cuts/editing is managed by Jovin John and the music department will be controlled by the experienced hands of Jassie Gift. The lyrics for this film is written by Manu Manjith and Hari Narayanan. It will officially start from June 7 and the Pooja of the film will be held at IMA Hall Kaloor on tomorrow at 8 am in the morning. The public relations officer of this film will be Arun Pookadan.
Unni Mukundan is all set to make the coming days his own with films like KL 10 Pathu which conceived by debutant Muhsin Parari and LJ films is the one which is financing the film. And Style also makes it a good hopeful year ahead for this young actor who made a grand comeback after a short lay off with success like Vikramadithyan last year and with Fireman this year.
Mammootty never refused to work with Mohanlal
From last four days mega star Mammootty in the news and discussions in our social Media for all the wrong reasons. At first it was the issue of him insulting the television artist in an award function and now it is the controversy regarding Shaji Kailas’s statement that Mammootty refused to act with Mohanlal and he said that is why the announced Mammootty- Mohanlal project by him was dropped. The issue was took up by the social Media and Mammootty is severely criticized even by his fans for saying like that as many of them want to see both Mmmootty and Mohanlal together on screen after a long time.
But now another report is coming from an online page of a Television channel which says that Mammootty did not say that he will not act with Mohanlal. It was Renji Panicker who said that Mammootty did not told the way it came in the medias. Renji Panicker said that he and Ranjith planned to write a film with Mohanlal and Mammootty in the lead and talked to Shaji Kailas about the project. Later they went to Mohanlal and he had agreed to do the film. After that they went to Mammootty and told about it and Mammootty said that he was not interested in that projects and that’s the way it had gone. Renji says that Mammootty never told them that he is not ready to share the screen space with Mohanlal.
The online media is claiming that Shaji Kailas also said that the earlier news was just a matter of some misunderstanding and there is ni such incident occurred in which Mammootty said that he will not act with Mohanlal. Mammootty has some other projects to complete and that is why he said that he will not be a part of that proposed film with Mohanlal.
Mohanlal and Mammootty shares great friendship right from the beginning of their career and it still continues as well. But these kind of news making their fans to fight with each other and also in a way defaming both of the actors in the public and we have to doubt that these fake news were deliberately created to make both of them to fight with each other.
Premam on the way to become another blockbuster hit
Premam which had hit the screens all over yesterday had created so much buzz in the town that it is now the big thing in our industry according to trade guides. The flick is getting overwhelming response from the people who saw the film on its first day and almost all the shows in the first day itself giving heavy returns for the film. The film got a reception at theaters and in box office like that of a Mohanlal or Mammootty film. The ‘Neram’ team is repeating their success again and this time it seems that they will be in for a bigger success than their first association named Neram.
Premam was undoubtedly the film which has got most positive response on the very first day this year and it was really an Alphonse Puthren magic. He is the all in all of the flick from direction, screen writing, editing as well as has done a key role in this flick as well. This man had marshaled his troups like a king and really won the battle in style as well. Anwar Rasheed is the one who had spent money to make this flick and he once again proved that he is not only a master director but also a master producer as well.
The marketing strategy adopted by the producer and his banner named Anwar Rasheed entertainment had really made the public to rush into the cinema halls not only in Kerala but also outside Kerala too. The film had got a good opening outside Kerala as well and it will hopefully increase from here as the film had got good response from the ones who watched it first day. Anwar Rasheed tasted the success as a producer with last year blockbuster named Banglore Days and Nivin Pauly was a part of that film as well. It seems that Nivin Pauly had become the lucky charm of Anwar Rasheed as a producer as well.
An unofficial report says that the flick had grossed close to 1.48 crore on its opening day from theatres of Kerala alone. Now with the great success of Premam Nivin’s star value went up high and director Jude had already said that he is going to be the next super star. We have to wait and see that whether Nivin can put up with the pressure of being a super star or not.
